Tacos y Hamburguesas Toluco Restaurant

I have been coming to Redwood City to visit Whis-Purr Rescue every week. Most of the time I stop by the temple to visit my grandpa. His picture is at Chua Giac Minh. The more I age, the more I realize how important my faith is and how close I am w/ family. And of course I do like eating out by myself, so I am making an effort to make it happen. Gavin was at my parents' so I took advantage of the "freedom." I parked, completely oblivious that I should not park there (in front of the restaurant). After I placed my order and paid, the gentleman that took my order advised me to park in the back. I appreciate his concern. After I re-parked, I sat and waited less than 10 minutes before my beautiful torta was served. I ordered a Torta Cubana. It had all the protein; breaded steak, ham, sausage and vegetables and beans. It was very messy but it's very juicy and very delicious. I had a great lunch and I'm grateful this place is near the temple!

This place is legit a HIDDEN gem, if you drive too fast by it you will miss it! The food is delicious and the service is even better. We had 3 burritos, chicken, Asada and Pastor. The meat in all of them were very flavorful and we finished everything because of how good it was. Will definitely be coming back more often.

Tacos toluco is my favorite taco restaurant in the Bay Area. The tacos are priced really well and they give you so much meat on each taco. The servers are super friendly, and the quality of the food is consistently great everytime I've come here.

Love this place it's down the street from my job on weekends. They have the best customer service always friendly and personable. Food is great, I usually get the Birria Tacos or Carne Asada Tacos or Burrito.

Scrumptious food! Easy to order takeout, made quickly, and tasted great! The shrimp had a lovely savory grilled flavor. Parking was in the back and we were able to walk through from the back and see the cute decor, including Frida Kahlo murals. Will definitely order from here again!

This place is a hidden gem. The quesabirrias are amazing. My coworker and I have to come here for lunch at least once a week. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Parking is behind the store, with an entrance to the lot next to an Autozone. You can enter the store from the back through the lot. The back of the store has seating with colorful chairs and tables, and indoor has way more tables than it looks from the outside.Pretty empty on a Thursday lunch, and my quesabirria tacos with consome were ready in less than 10 minutes. Overall, my friend and I thought the quesabirria tacos had pretty good flavor but we wished the tortilla was a bit more crispy. Consome was pretty standard. I liked the salsa verde they gave. The flavor got pretty tiring after eating 3 of the same tacos, so the sauces provided were helpful in adding some variety. Employees were friendly. Don't think I'd make a special trip just to come here again, but glad I tried at least once.

Very welcoming cashier. Good tacos for a fair price. Clean dining area and music suited for the food.

Came to snag some tacos on the way home on a Monday but noted dollar taco Wednesday. Will have to be back! They ran out of carnitas so that must be popular. Ended up setting for 2 carne asada and 2 al pastor. Wouldn't get tacos on days other than Wednesday, but the other entrees and birrias look pretty good and priced better.The tacos are pretty hefty and loaded, so they are actually pretty insane but imagining them on Wednesday is mouthwatering.Carne Asada - not extremely chewy so your jaw won't be sore. Tasted good, fairly tender, can't complain.Al Pastor - I've had better, but it was a hearty and consistent al pastor. Tender and soft to the bite.

Really great Customer service. the food is great .the place looks authentic really clean .nice people will definitely come back
