Best carne asada tacos in San Jose. The asada quesadilla has a handmade tortilla grilled and fried with the perfect amount of cheese and protein. My favorite spicy salsa is the Smokey orange salsa. The green one is perfect too if you prefer something a little less spicy. You can call ahead to order as well! They are open late and also located off of Santa Teresa and blossom hill. Love this place!

After getting gas at Costco, I came here again! I tried the quesadilla this time and it was so good! The flour quesadilla was only $10. The carne asada was so flavorful. The cheese was also melted and had crispy edges.

Finally tried this place on my way and had to make a quick stop. Ordered 6 Carne Asada tacos for $20, and they were worth the cost. Waited about 10 minutes so fast service on a Tuesday evening around 6:15 pm. The tacos were juicy and the tortillas served well to soak up the meat juices and lock in the flavor. The onions and cilantro are a great garnish to pair with the meat. Would try this place again and their other dishes!

Who doesn't like gas station tacos? This place was poppin' midday. I ordered a couple of tacos. Wasn't too long of a wait but not memorable tacos.

I made a stop here after a great visit to nearby Edevale park. They have a lot of dishes which were new to me like the mulitas, quesadilla de maiz, alambres and chavindeca. The mulitas and al pastor tacos were really good. I also appreciated how cleanliness focused they were. I saw the person change gloves multiple times when they went from cooking to taking orders and also gave me a wipe for my card after they swiped it and handed it back.

Beware: there's always a line! Call ahead to place your order. Unfortunately, I did not know that till we got there but we ordered and waited anyway. I was so determined to try this truck. I had a hard time ordering because the the nice woman wasn't completely fluent in English and everything was muffled by the damn masks. I'm not a fan of the masks, as you can tell. I ordered a chicken mulita, 2 chicken tacos, and 1 carne asada quesadilla. Both Ronnie and Alex ordered a burrito, I think. We waited a little over 15 min for our order which isn't too terrible. When we got home I unwrapped my gluttonous dinner. The salsa that came w/ the meal was spicy. I loved it. The carne asada was juicy. The quesadilla was my most favorite! Glad I tried them! Been seeing them on the corner of Snell/Blossom for nearly 2 years.

Spent 5 years in San Diego, spoiled by the tacos there. After moving to Bay area, I spent a lot of time trying to find some good tacos to calm my cravings. Puesto Santa Clara does the job... But it's too expensive to eat frequently. So one day, by chance, I found this place. Had some trouble ordering because one of the ladies only speaks Spanish... But no worries, got it done anyways, plus it's an indication that it's authentic, right!?Tacos were $2 each, real good, almost as good as tacos El Gordo of San Diego!OMFG the tortillas! That's all you need to know. This is definitely a hidden gem. It's basically a food truck next to Shell, easy to miss.Highly recommend for sure!

I arrived to find this taco truck tucked on the side of the Shell Gas Station. There is no parking and found cars parking off to the side. A woman came to the front and took my order. I ordered 3 tacos de carne asada and 1 taco al pastor to-go. She gave me my number and I waited about 15 minutes for my order. There's a small table with chairs to sit on if you want to eat there. Once I got my order I went to the side of the truck and found all the sauces. They have plastic cups to serve the sauces you want. I was disappointed to not see any grilled onions like other reviewers had mentioned. They had lemons but no rábanos (sad face). The tacos were served on a single handmade tortilla topped with onion and cilantro. The tacos had a simple presentation. The carne asada and pastor tasted simple. The taste of the tacos was elevated by the fact that the tortilla was handmade but nothing out of the ordinary. The 4 salsas I had gave the tacos flavor. Each salsa had its own spice level.Good tacos but I won't go out of my way to come back here.

This was our first and last time coming here. The food IS NOT worth the price. We ordered an asada burrito, the rice tasted old , the meat was very dry with no flavor. The tortilla was super greasy. There was more lettuce, rice, cheese than there was meat. & the price of it was $14!!!! The customer service is very poor, the older lady that was taking my order was very rude. If I can give 0 stars I would. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND
