The good:My brother was visiting from New York which meant we were going to go get some California Mexican food. I got a battered and deep fried fish taco, a chile verde jumbo burrito, a grilled chicken street taco and chile verde street taco. The street tacos were larger than I expected. The tacos were my favorite because the meat was so flavorful, tender and delicious. My brother ordered a burrito and loved his as well. The food came with 3 sauces (green, red and orange cream sauce) that were also great enhancements. I liked the fresh vegetables on the fish taco. The bad:I probably should've tried their namesake al pastor. The interesting:I got 9 items totaling around $55. They have a couple of locations.

I work in the center and I have given them 3 chances. Every single time it has been awful. This last time I went..I ordered I got the enchiladas with rice. The rice tasted like they were 3 days old, the enchiladas were cold and nasty. I had them take it back and give me some carne asada tacos. The meat tasted old and gave me the poops. Disgusting place. I wish I could give this place a negative rating. I hope it closes down or goes underf new managment so we can have a decent mexican place to eat at.

This establishment used to be a staple in the area, growing up me and my friends would always go to get some after school snack. It was always served by the friendliest staff, family owned and never was a bad meal. A couple years back the owner and head chef was diagnosed with cancer. The community rallied around the restaurant to help support them during this time. The impact they had on the area was easy to see, serving some of the best mexican food you could've gotten.Unfortunately, he had lost his battle with cancer, god rest his soul, and the establishment changed ownership. The new owners are terrible, to put it nicely. The quality of the food has dropped heavily, the prices have skyrocketed, and the attitude and atmosphere of the staff and restaurant have declined as well. It truly is disappointing to see what has happened to an establishment that I literally grew up on. Had I been reviewing the old Tacos Al Pastor I would've given it 6/5 stars it was that good.Truly sad to see what has happened, I cannot recommend that people dine here with a good conscience.

Usually have good food here when I come in person. Disappointed today when I ordered nachos through DoorDash. Dasher was quick but the chips were stale and the meat was a little dry.

Food is overpriced, has small portions, and is overly salted.Today I called to place a takeout order and was placed on hold. No one ever came back to the phone. I tried calling a half hour later and the phone was still off the hook.My husband had to go there to place the order. He put me on the phone with the cashier. I told her what happened and she did not understand me dispite trying to phrase it in different ways. I ordered the rice and beans and asked her the difference between the small and large orders. She didn't understand. I gave up and ordered the small. They were served cold. I ordered the street tacos with carne asada meat. The meat, if you could call it that, was extremely dry and tastless, I had to scrape it off and eat the taco with onions and cilantro only. She added chips and dip for an extra $3.00 even though I never ordered them. In no part of our conversation chips and dip were never mentioned. As others have mentioned, this used to be a good restaurant until the owner passed away and it was sold. Back then the restaurant was clean, but now I've seen coacroches crawling up the walls. Makes you wonder about how clean the kitchen is and do they get into the food.

Skip it! I repeated my order three times to the friendly lady and it still came out incorrectly. And a Diet Coke is $4?!

Over priced food al pastor was not the thing. Asked for a super burrito. Didn't even have guacamole. Asked then and they said it's cause the guacamole is a sauce they put in. ( no signs of guacamole sauce) plus charging 3.50 for chips???? That's an automatic no.

I called in an order here recently since the website order feature wasn't working, when I told the employee this they had no response. The menu on the website showed a super burrito with the protein option of fish for $15 but also a "fish super burrito" for $19, when I told her this discrepancy and that I wanted to order the $15 versionShe said no it's $19.. so I went with chicken. I asked how much for extra cheese and she said $3.. WTH?? When I got home the burrito had NO sour cream No cheese and No guacamole?? Also when at the self serve salsa bar my friend and I were getting sauce for 4 super burritos. She came over and pretended she was "checking the supplies" while glaring at us as if we were taking too much salsa. Keep in mind the containers are the size of thimbles! We asked for limes since there were none there and she said they had no more. I doubt that was true. To add insult to injury I had bad stomach issues after eating my what was basically a bean and cheese burrito that was supposed to be super burrito.. bad customer service, wrong order, conflicting prices..never again. And sadly it's a neighborhood place..

I do not understand how this place is in business. I came in for my lunch break on 4/23 and asked for a taco plate. I didn't order anything else, not even a drink. I was shocked when the cashier asked for $26, I made sure she got my order right. I foolishly paid and waited, hoping it would be either the greatest taco plate on the planet or enough for more than 1 person. Nope. I got two pieces of some type of unseasoned meat, not even cut up. A scoop each of some flavorless rice and cold beans, and some tortillas. Unfortunately I forgot my knife and cutting board for my lunch break so I ended up shredding this meat by hand in the restaurant. Just overall everything was a horrible experience and not even close to worth the money. This is a taco plate I would've paid $6 at most for.
