Wow! This place is lowkey good.The interior looks simple and clean.I ordered the ebi nigiri to get the two friend shrimp heads it comes with and it was so worth it. I do recommend getting the wagyu handroll and seared salmon belly.The mackerel was good too, I had to order another one to-go as well lol. I'll rate the lion king roll a 5/5. It tastes like any other lion king roll so I can't complain.I do want to try their omakase for the next time I visit, I've seen pictures of it on Yelp and the presentation looks so wonderful and I believe that's what everyone is raving about!While it was moderately busy, the service was pretty quick and we didn't have to wait that long for our food to come out!

Dropped by in the afternoon to satisfy some cravings, as I really wanted some chirashi. I ended up getting the deluxe chirashi ($36), which came out to be 11 pieces of fish + uni and ikura on top of rice. I believe the deluxe chirashi came with toro, salmon, hamachi?, sea bream?, seared albacore, and ikura. I liked all the choices except the albacore. The toro was not too fatty where it tasted like eating oil, and maintained a nice bite. The other fish were also fresh and did not have a bad fishy taste. The seared albacore just paled in comparison to the other fish. Not my preference. The pieces of fish weren't cut too thin, though I've had thicker. The menu and ordering are done by QR code. Not a big fan of that system since I prefer having the physical menu. Not too many parties when we were there since we went after lunch, so food came out pretty quick. Staff seemed nice but could be hard to track down. Based on other pictures, it seems the amount of fish you get can vary so maybe some inconsistency?

Thank you Sushi Pro for taking my call at 9:15pm and letting me order to go! The girl that I was speaking with also very kind as I could not make up my mind and called them shortly right after confirming my order to change it again. I got Deluxe Chirashi Bowl and the waitress was also very patient with me as I asked her to confirm what kinds of fish will be in the bowl. The service was fast as I left as soon as I called, only took about 10 minutes. The portions were huge and great price point compared to other sushi spots! There was more fish than there was rice which I was pleasantly surprised and also very fresh!

The kaisen don was great and beautifully plated. I came here after seeing a picture of that dish and it did not disappoint!

I got a takeout order of the Salmon Avocado Roll & Hotate Nigiri. The scallop was fresh and slightly sweet. I appreciate that it wasn't all rice. The salmon portion was good in this roll.

Great specials and happy hour here, for food and drink! Probably my new favorite go-to for sushi in San Jose for it's great quality, food portion and great specials!Saw many posts on their Omakase and at first was hesitant, but finally got to try Sushi Pro and was genuinely impressed at the cost and quality of the food they put out. Their Nigiri Omakase comes out on a big wooden platter served with miso soup and chawanmushi. The serving was perfect, I liked the fish to rice ratio and the fish was well prepared. Their lunch specials are great as well as their bentos! My mom especially likes their saba shioyaki bento, because the portion of fish is generous and fresh, enough to take home the rest of the bento. Another favorite here is the tempura and negitoro.Place is a bit small, so wait time can be long especially during the lunch rush or dinner. The staff tries their best to clean tables quickly and refill cups when needed, they are attentive. Noisy level can vary, since it's a small space voices can carry over, but generally it's an average sound level.

[Food]- Tonkatsu Dinner set ($20.99): Comes with rice, soup, and salad. Tonkatsu could've been crispier but also it was a little more lean than preferred for us. - Unagi Don ($19.99): Includes soup and salad. Out of everything this visit, I'd say this is the most worth it and delicious. Unagi was well seasoned and tender! Portion was just right to fill me up. - Toro Sashimi ($30.99): 5 pieces per order. Pretty good and fresh. In my opinion it is a bit expensive. [Service]- Fast, attentive, friendly[Overall]- I'm glad they added more dishes to the menu!

Not bad, not bad at all. So I've come here a few times for takeout and most recently dined in for dinner. A number of rolls and a few appetizers were ordered for 3 adults and 1 child. Food came out fairly quickly, rolls for the most part were good but the lion king roll was a bit of a disappointment [not recommended].3.5 stars overall because the sushi rolls are substantially smaller than other sushi restaurants. Again, not bad when it comes to quality and flavors, this just isn't the spot if you were looking for a better bang for your buck.

FIRST of all, the CHALLENGE is to get into the restaurant, they have a door made of steel and requires SIGNIFICANT effort. Chef Sampler - This was fun to try, TBH I only enjoyed half of the items Fiesta Roll - The entire roll had the same texture, hard passLion King Roll - This was probably the BEST of all rolls here Sushi Pro Roll - Not bad, not mindblowing either Mango Nigori - Reminds me of a spiked Mango LassiAnyways, I definitely recommend y'all check them out while you're in the area, plenty of seating, amazing service!

Mediocre sushi. Ordered the Sushi Pro roll, Hokkaido Scallop roll, and Warrior's roll. While the size and price of the rolls was pretty reasonable, I would say the quality is below average. The sushi rice was pretty bad, mushy, just a slight step above grocery store sushi. The 3 rolls was enough for 2 people (1 male and 1 female), but it did not satisfy my sushi craving. It just made me want good sushi even more. Don't bother with Yoshi Sushi across the street either, their even worse. At least the service was good and friendly. Clean restaurant. No wait for dinner on a Sunday. Just go to Sen Dai
