OFFERS DINE-IN, TAKE OUT, AND DELIVERY SERVICES (like Doordash). Parking lot is small and may be full during peak hours. It is in close proximity to 7Leaves and Pekoe.I was craving sushi and felt really bad walking in 10 minutes before closing but the workers are very nice and they accommodated me! They even handed me my order directly so I didn't have to walk to get it on a table. I think the establishment is family owned since I saw the owner's children watching the TV. The restaurant is also connected to a convenience store and there is also an ice cream booth they run inside as well.I ordered the ORANGE DRAGON for $13.50 which was worth every buck. It came with 8 pieces although I wish the pieces were more bigger, to be fair I paid $13.50. It was super flavorful and I enjoyed every single bite. No complaints!I will be coming back in the future to try their other rolls whenever I'm back in town!

This is a great takeout spot with limited indoor seating, conveniently located in the same space as Bombay Curry Pizza. The sushi rolls are reasonably priced, though contrary to what some Yelp reviews say, I found the rolls to be more regular-sized than huge.The service is quick, and the sushi quality is consistent. While it may not be the absolute freshest sushi out there, it's definitely satisfying and hits the spot when you're craving a solid sushi fix.

If it was just the food and pricing, then this place is 5-stars, but I'm considering the location, etc. as well, so please keep that in mind.Customer Service: The employees are friendly. It's a pick-up and go place, so there's not much customer service beyond ordering, paying, and receiving the order. They do include a generous amount of chopsticks and soy sauce. Thanks! Parking: There's a parking a lot. It's a small plaza, so the parking lot may be full. It tends not to be in the daytime, but can be at night or the weekends. Pricing: The pricing is great. You get a lot of food. I would say items are average to below average for this area. Food: Our rolls are hefty and good, especially for the price. It's not super fresh like an omakase place, but it's also not soggy or tastes frozen like some other places I've trued. They also make an effort for the presentation-I really appreciate that. We get a mix of rolls and nigiri. Atmosphere: There are some seats here, but it's not a place that's set up for sit-down. It's a pick-up and go kind of place. They share the kitchen with an Indian pizza place; they're also connected to the liquor store next door. It's nice that they're open late for those late-night sushi cravings, but it can get a bit sketchy here at night. I've only came here once for a late-night order; it was a bit scary compared to the daytime. Overall, good sushi for a reasonable price!

Don't let the outside or inside of this place fool you! We found this place here on Yelp & we went without looking what the place looked like, like we normally do. When we arrived, the place was in between a liquor mini mart & a laundry mat. We were a little skeptical & ALMOST went elsewhere but I'm glad we didn't! We looked at the menu & the cashier was really nice & gave us recommendations. We went with the tiger dragon roll, red dragon & Mango(forgot the name) roll! The tiger dragon & red dragon were sooo delicious 5/5! I could see why this place has the ratings it does. 3/5 for the mango roll, it was ok, just not something we would get again. but if you like the taste of lemon, then maybe try that one! It had a little spice, but went well with the sweetness of the mango & sourness of the lemon.

If I could give Sushi Day 10/5 stars, I would. These little hole in the wall spot is nestled in between a convenience store and Indian Pizza spot. I've been going here ever since I discovered it a few years back and it never disappoints. Sushi Day is a family owned business and the service is always really great and friendly. They're take-out only and you really can't beat the prices. We got 2 special rolls, and a combo (5 piece sashimi, 5 piece nigiri, 1 CA roll, and 1 tekka roll) for $61. Between the two of us, we couldn't even finish it, it's really a lot of food and the sashimi slices are faaaaaat. If you love value and you love sushi, Sushi Day is perfect.

It's a very small place that's combined with a pizza store. There are a few tables/booths for you to sit at so I don't recommend eating there with a big party. I recommend doing to-go if anything. I didn't have high expectations, but my boyfriend really wanted me to try it so I did. Mangonada Roll(5/5): The roll was very delicious and huge! I liked the slices of cucumbers on the side because it gives a nice cut of freshness to the saucy roll. I will say though, it's a little too much sauce but other than that it was quite delicious!Ichiban Roll(3/5): The roll was good, but I wasn't a big fan of the unagi that was inside. Maybe it was the way that it was prepped, but it just wasn't good to me. Everything else was good at least.Cowboy Roll(5/5): It's basically a Philadelphia Roll, but with cucumber and tobiko. Nothing was wrong with the roll and I very much enjoyed it!Salmon Tekka Roll(4/5): It was nothing out of the ordinary. It's a simple roll that couldn't go wrong.Service was quick and simple. Overall, I had a good experience and the rolls were a pretty good price too! Also the food was very filling!

I've been to this restaurant a few times, and they never disappoint! It's easily one of my favorite sushi places in San Jose. The ordering process is easy, wait time varies- normally around 25 minutes, but I always call ahead to order. They accept cash and card. It's a shared restaurant but there is some indoor seating available. My favorite roll is the lion king!! The salmon is baked to perfection and the sauce is delicious. I also ordered the orange dragon and the spicy tuna roll. Both were delicious. The orange dragon roll was fresh and savory topped with avocado. The spicy tuna roll had a good amount of spice to it and had a sort of sesame flavor which was pleasant. I love this restaurant and it's the first place I go to when i'm craving sushi! 10/10!

I ordered late at night and the sushi tasted different. If you're going to order here I highly recommend doing it during the day because the quality is more fresh.

Super small sushi spot but you cannot beat the price they have here! They offer a variety of rolls with the average being ~$13.50, they also have other options like sashimi, poke, and more but we only got rolls. When deciding what to order, Nacho was super patient & nice in helping us pick out rolls. We ordered the sexy dragon, dragon, hamachi deluxe, and 49niner. I'm a salmon lover so the 49niner was my favorite. All the rolls were also a good size- they don't skimp here! I've been here a couple times before and definitely would come back again for a sushi fix.

We live in the hood and this place is bomb as he'll all these people that come at nite saying it's scary at nite welcome to the essj in the hood we're we got the best sushi this place is #1 everyone that works there are best and respectful in hood thanks for not going and staying here love it ......
