Bad photo, but the noodles were frozen or something came in a clump. Not at all bad but definitely should've left the noodles to defrost.

Shout out to Leroy for a great service! Came here during happy hour and my parter and I were able to be full with 2 rolls, 2 appetizers and sake bombs each. This has always been a go to place whenever we're feeling sushi in DTSJ

Been to this place multiple times; tonight was a special occasion - celebrated three years with my handsome. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; Bailey had a smile the entire time! The geisha girl and lime & dime were delicious - would highly recommend!Thank you for an enjoyable evening. See you next time!

One of our favorite places to come to before a Sharks game! They have a great happy hour menu with sake, sake bombs and rolls. Highly recommend coming here and sitting at the bar. We got seated pretty quick and had Geovanny as our bartender / server. He's a fun guy and engaged in conversation with us while we did sake bombs! Great vibes to chill and hang out, regardless if you're here for a game or not!

Went here the other night with my partner and my dog. The staff were super nice and all came and greeted our dog. She was able to sit with us in their outdoor area, and she fit comfortably between the couch and fire pit/table.The drinks and food were great, however a bit pricey. We got the mochi dessert and it was delicious! The staff were very nice and accommodating, even bringing a small bowl with water out for our dog. We did not have them light the fire, however other tables did and the lighting and vibes were very nice!

I tried Sushi Confidential at the SAP Center. [Disclaimer: Not at this location, but at a sporting event]. Obviously a modified menu from their restaurant. Since we got there late after the 1st period break. They were out of a lot of things. My friend and I shared a few dishes.Unagi Waffle Fries: chopped unagi, [confidential] ketchup, green onions, drizzled with unagi sauce (3/5). Flavorful, but again, wish there was more unagi.Poke Tater Tots/waffle fries: tuna poke, served with asian slaw, seaweed salad, avocado wasabi sauce (3/5). The poke was not that much, but the slaw was tasty. The waffle Fries were good.California Roll: crab, avocado, sesame seeds (3.5/5). It was decent and the creamy crab mix was good. No seasoning in the rice.It was good enough to try it at the restaurant, so I can update my review.

Food: 3.5/5 -The jalapeño hamachi (and sauce) was quite good. The sashimi tasted decently fresh. However the rolls didn't quite hit the mark with freshness for me. Given the price, I expected more in terms of quality. Service: 4/5-Overall good service & kind waitstaff, but weren't as attentive to refills.Good ambiance, vibes and big space, especially on the patio. Super central location on San Pedro. Unfortunately, it misses the mark for me to consider this a "regular go to".

I went to Sushi Confidential this past Friday and had the BEST experience, thanks to our server, Melissa! From the moment we sat down, she was super friendly and made us feel right at home.Melissa really knows her stuff! She gave us some awesome recommendations, and every single thing she suggested was amazing. The rolls were so fresh and flavorful.Even though the place was pretty busy, Melissa was totally on top of it. Our drinks were always refilled, the food came out perfectly timed, and she checked in often enough to make sure we were good without hovering. She had such great energy and made the whole night even better. Honestly, if you're heading to Sushi Confidential, ask for Melissa--you won't regret it.Can't wait to go back soon! This is my new fav spot now in downtown SJ!

I came here with a couple of friends in the evening to watch a game. There wasn't a lot of people so we were able to sit wherever we wanted. They had multiple big screen TVs throughout the restaurant and the table we picked even had its own TV. The place had a very cozy and relaxing feel to it.Service was great. Our server was really nice and calm. He made multiple rounds to see if we needed anything and made sure we had water. Our food came out in a timely manner. My favorite dish was the salt & pepper calamari. It was crispy and nicely seasoned. It was delicious when dipped in the charred scallion sauce. It kind of tasted like the popcorn chicken that they sell at boba places but this was calamari instead of chicken. I wasn't really sure what to think of the 2 poke tacos. I thought the tuna tasted better than the salmon. The Asian slaw on top was flavorful and tasted good but I would have preferred a little bit more wasabi sauce. The bottom of the taco was just fish chunks. I ate the Asian slaw on top first and it felt weird eating the fish chunks by itself on the bottom. It would have been great if there was a balance where I was eating the Asian slaw and the fish chunks at the same time. I was not a fan of their Flamin' HOT Cheetos Roll. It just tasted like rice, cream cheese and unflavored Cheetos. I was not able to taste anything spicy. Even the little bits of Cheetos did not taste spicy. It was like they took some generic Cheetos and added red food coloring to it. What could they have done where the spicy hot Cheetos flavor just disappeared?Parking wasn't an issue since the restaurant was located right next to the ParkSJ Market & San Pedro Square Garage and the first 90 minutes was free.
