This was incredible. Only complaint would be the exterior was almost too crunchy.
Belly Pot. Dry by itself cuz of all the unflavored rice but get hot sauce then you're good

One of the best place in fisherman wharf area in sf, either for brunch or dinner. I come here to enjoy Korean food and their bacon is great! Not the first time I've been here. This time I ordered the fried chicken taco and love the salsa and the fries is great alsoAnd the other dish we ordered the galbi which very flavorful and juicy meat compliments really well with the fresh vegetables to wrap with the meat. The kimchi here also really good. Like it that fresh pickled not too sour. The service here is really friendly and nice , Claire was the best. The restaurant could be really busy sometimes, so I think reservations in advance would be ideal.

Surisan, oh Surisan--what a rollercoaster of an experience! They certainly get an A+ for accommodating our large group, which was a relief. But the food? Well, it was a bit of a game of culinary roulette. Some dishes featured good meat that made us think, "Yes, this is delicious!"--but then the sauce showed up like that friend who always crashes the party and just doesn't vibe with anyone. On the brighter side, their wine and beer selection was solid--definitely lifted our spirits! However, the service felt like it was still figuring out what it wanted to be when it grew up. It wasn't terrible, but let's just say it didn't steal the show.Overall, it seems like Surisan has seen better days. Maybe it's worth giving their brunch a shot? After all, who doesn't love breakfast cocktails to wash down a mixed bag of meats and sauces? Here's hoping they find their groove again soon!

I've been here a few times, and while I always want to love it, each visit chips away at that just a little. This time, we had a reservation for an anniversary, but it went completely unacknowledged--not a huge deal, just one of those small things that would've made the experience feel a bit more special. Now, the food: Boosted Chicken Jook? Comforting and flavorful, exactly what you want from a good bowl of jook. The Chicken Cup Bap was also great--well-seasoned, well-balanced, no notes. The Sweet & Spicy Wings, though... mostly sweet, barely spicy. If you're expecting a kick, you won't find it here. The berry makgeolli, however, is a standout. Super smooth, and honestly, a reason in it of itself to come back. Overall, a solid spot, just not spectacular.

Surisan was the name of the restaurant my sister reserved for our group of 12. It is located in the city of San Francisco about a 10 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Thank goodness that my little sister made reservations. We still had to wait about 30 minutes despite the reservation because they were that BUSY!! To say that they are popular place would be an understatement. We all ordered different entrees. Some of us in the group shared our entrees family style. I cannot remember the names of the entrees which I tried. There were so many. I also failed to take photos of most of them because the group was so hungry that everyone almost immediately started digging in. Service was slow. Probably due to how busy they were. It took 30 minutes before we were seated. From the time we sat down, it took almost an hour before our food started arriving. Happily the food did taste delicious. I remember that I really liked the Crunch French Toast and the Millionaire Bacon. There were no complaints from anyone in our large group with regards to the food we got. One of these days, we may try Surisan again. Not any time in the near future though.

Didn't expect such a great brunch spot by the Fisherman's Wharf area. Surisan is a hidden gem! My friends and I stumbled upon this adorable spot for brunch via Yelp, and we were blown away by the delicious food and top-notch service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured our glasses were always full. Especially for those who ordered the bottomless mimosa! Quick tip: free parking is pretty much non existent. Be prepared to pay for meter even on a Sunday.

Came here for breakfast and was chill with no wait. My favorite was the blackstone benedict, the bacon gives it so much flavor and is worth trying while you're here even if as just a side. The French toast was also very good, it wasn't too sweet, it comes with some caramel sauce on the side for you to drizzle if you have a sweet tooth (like me). Overall service was great, servers and waiters were attentive and friendly. Would definitely come here again to try their dinner menu!

I'm so happy I was able to eat at Surisan when I was in San Francisco! The ambiance is modern and pretty, the service was good, and the food and drinks were even better! The ramen was so good and gave such a creative plated experience. The drinks were absolutely amazing! Throughly loved this place!

I made a reservation for brunch, and I really loved this restaurant! The staff were really accommodating, so pleasant, and so polite. I had a stroller, and it was no problem maneuvering through the restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the fresh raspberry lemonade, and it was sooo good! You could really tell that it was fresh! We had the millionaire candy, and these pieces of bacon were perfect. And my main was the boosted chicken jook. It was a cold day, so this dish hit the spot. It was spicier than I thought it would be, but I'm sure you can just tell them not to put the peppers in it. The consistency of the porridge was spot on, and it was loaded with protein. It was also a huge portion! I would definitely come back!

Lovely Korean fusion brunch spot near fisherman's wharf. Was truly impressed by the stuffed French toast. Would absolutely order again! Also tried the Bulgogi fried rice as a savory complement which was also delicious. Portions are plentiful and we left stuffed. Pomegranate and regular mimosa were a nice compliment. Bottomless option available. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find and not overly expensive for a Saturday morning in SF.
