The best tamales I've ever had in San Jose. Also at a great value. $4.50/tamalDelicious, fresh tamales. Super moist and have so much flavor. Service is prompt and polite. It's an outdoor food stand, but there's conveniently a lot of parking for a quick pick up.

I'm not sure what the good reviews are for. I've always passed by this truck almost every weekday and finally chose to try it and see what the numerous good reviews were about. Masa is extremely dry. It crumbles apart. The filling (chicken) was ok and also bought cheese tamales. Not sure if maybe this batch sold was not a good batch? I wouldn't come back for the price they charge per tamale- very pricey.

Seen they tamales on Instagram and been wanting to try them out, we payed $49 for a dozen tamales and what a big disappointment they're big tamales, but they're mostly MASA and the kind of weird. It's like crumbly MASA. I will never come back here for some expensive tamales that aren't that good.

100% always worth it. My go-to is the chicken in green sauce. Sometimes I'll get another dozen of chicken/pork in red sauce. These are the best tamales ever. Quality is on point, it's consistent, it's hot, it's delicious, it's amazing. I don't mind standing in line to wait & sometimes it takes a while. In addition to my dozen, I usually get a prepared one for me to eat for breakfast. They throw on salsa and sour cream & it's a dream. I want some now!

Our go-to tamal spot when in San Jose! Make sure to stop in before noon and grab a variety. We've loved everything we've tried.

The best tamales of my life!!! Located at a gas station. The food is hot and fresh. Great service. Accepts card. The filling is flavored impeccably and the masa (dough) is so fluffy! It paired perfectly in my mouth. It was a great experience. Would recommend!! Don't be shy to try a bunch. They reheat well if you don't finish.- beef in red sauce was my favorite!! so good. will be getting a bunch of these next time I come.- pork in green sauce was okay- sweet corn was too sweet for me, not a fan.

On my search for San Jose's best tamales - I found Súper Tamales. They did not disappoint definitely a thicc tamale with lots of flavor I ordered a variety Jalapeño & cheese, green/red pork, and green chicken I really thought out of all those flavors the green chile chicken was reallllly good. My family's favorite was the red pork. The service is always very good for setting up so bright and early the gentleman who's always there is so friendly and welcoming. The tamales are big and the meat is proportioned nicely. They do take Apple Pay, credit cards, and cash. I only knock down one star since sometimes the flavor isn't consistent when you choose pork. Otherwise this is a great place to come by and pick up some hearty tamales for the fam.

Saw this stand parked on the corner of a gas station and had to stop- the tamales are HUGE and delicious. Eat it right when you get them and top it with salsa and crema. I got pork tamales and it was the perfect breakfast- $3.50/tamale. Follow @super.tamales on Instagram to see where they are- I think there are three locations. You can buy them to go too!

Awesome Tamales - fresh - thick - I admit I prefer less fillings and more of a thicker masa - though these have great filling to masa ratio.I had the chicken and a sweet corn which were delicious. To the people critiquing this spot like it's a 5 star fine dining??! It's a $4 a piece tamale spot in a gas station parking lot. Relax and enjoy the homemade wares for the sake of simple food - it's a great value considering home freshness - portion and hot out of the steamer! Back I go for breakfast again today !
