Suju's Coffee

I've tried this place maybe a handful of times, and today was my most recent visit. Although the staff are pretty friendly, and this cafe is pretty spacious, I don't like to say this, but I don't think I'm a fan of their drinks for now. Last time before today, I ordered a white chocolate mocha and I think I forgot to sub regular milk for oat milk. It was just ok. I have also tried either a pastry or some dessert item ? In the past, but found those to be nothing special either... I wish I'd remembered what I ordered so I could be more specific. Skip to today, I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese croissant and you could choose what cheese you want on it, so I picked cheddar. I did think that was good, and filling, but it does need a condiment on the side to go along with it. Just my opinion! I also order a chai frappe, and this was not a good choice. I didn't realize the chai was a pre-made mix from the store and it was too cold, thick tasting and hard to blend properly. I felt bad saying something since the drink seemed to have been from a store bought mix, so not sure what they could have done to improve it. Keep in mind I have had chai before, but I just didn't like the taste of this chai frappe. I ended up having to throw the drink away and I wasted like $5 :( Maybe I will get a smoothie or something instead next time, or stick to an easier drink.

The Polar Cap is amazing! It's a unique drink here. It's like a nutty sweet mocha frappe with not too overwhelming flavors, just right, but the texture is what makes it. It's kind of like a slush but with more liquid than ice so it had this nice smooth refreshing slushy crunch to it while still being pretty liquidy.The lattes are nothing to write home about, but we did have an ordering issue. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and got a regular latte. I also probably shouldve looked at the receipt to confirm. I had the barista just and mix it in to fix the order, but it was just okay. Maybe it would've been better if the vanilla was added in the beginning? Not sure.

Now that it's been open awhile, I thought I'd refresh my review. This is a HOT spot for students/people in the area. There have been a couple of times I've gone where there was not a single seat open in the entire cafe. I've also noticed that people like to meet here in groups, whether to work, study together, or just for a catchup sesh. The seats next to the outlets go quickly, so much so that it's not uncommon for strangers to sit together at the same table due to lack of availability of space. Be cautious of leaving your belongings unattended, even if you're just going up to order - people can be callous and accidentally (or purposely) take something that's not theirs. The service here is very friendly, and most of their drinks are good. They also offer pastries, premade salads, and sandwiches made to order. It was definitely a smart marketing move to have a Suju's in this location (across from a large high school) as they're always packed!

Got the polar cap with whipped cream and I love the drink! It is not a frappe or a latte but somewhere in between. I personally like the texture as it is icy but not completely blended. They have 2 restrooms with a code. It is a great place to work/study and they have quite a bit of food/pastries. The only thing is I wish they had more outlets as the outlets are only connected to the wall which is to be expected.

Sujus is great. I'm so glad they opened a new shop at this location and took over the previous Starbucks. All of the menu items at Sujus are great, especially the drinks.my favorite is the polar cap with whip cream -- which is extra caffeinated and tastes like a coffee iced slushy. This is a really good place to hang out. There is ample seating to sit down study or have a conversation. High quality frappes, drinks and teas for a decent price. They also have a great selection of pastries, salads, desserts and sandwiches. They also have nice selection of unique mugs, teas and coffee bags that would make great gifts for yourself or a friend!

This is their third and newest location. Lots of space to have coffee and food with friends. Large selection of food, including sandwiches, bakery, good salads and more. A full coffee menu of both hot and cold.I had a medium cappuccino, which is a good size and a pretty good flavor. I also had a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was toasted. The cheese was melted, but somehow the ham was still cold, which was my only complaint.

Service 9/10 Drinks 9/10 Interior 7/10 This place is a solid option for a study session. They have a lot of tables and it's quite spacious they have food and drinks. The interior is just at a little old looking and I wish they had more outlets. Overall though the service is good and the drinks are good - I wouldn't particularly recommend it as a place to just come get a drink and leave as there are other options in the area but it's a great study space.

Great cafe. It's always busy with a younger crowd, but I appreciate that there are people and community that are still enjoying the coffee shop culture and being out and socializing rather than at home and being on a screen. I really like their cheese danish so get that. It's like really delicious. My go to order is a matcha latte, hot with soy. And no up charge for plant based milk! Yay!

Service super friendly, coffee is tasty, the environment is great- with wifi.Just I wish they use recyclable straws.

This place is just amazing. The coffee itself is of high quality and they dont hide it under sugary ingridents. The vibes are also nice when you come in, playing some good r&b and soul music. It is oddly quiet in there though with lots of people on laptops. Lots of cool mugs and tea sets along the wall when you walk in that make for great gifts. The breakfast sandwiches are also really good. Their iced vanilla lattes and iced caramel macchiatos are my go to drinks here, and I always order them a little less sweet than their standard.
