This subway is located in the theme park itself. There are normally 2 ladies that work here and usually when I come here for a healthier alternative at the park they always seem mad working there. They do not have a full menu here and sandwiches are smaller than the typical Subway subs with higher prices. This last visit I was pointing out that they had a fly in their meats. The lady said, "It's chicken!"; so I told her again that they had a fly in her chicken. She removed the container but I'm unsure what she did to it. What bothered me was that I was still visiting the restrooms not long after even though I didn't order the chicken. It makes me wonder how fresh this subway really was.

Watch out, they will suddenly hike up the price without telling you and more than priced on the menu. This location is in Great America and already overpriced. When we ordered a footlong they suddenly said it's $20 which according to the Manu should have been $16.50. They could not tell us the reason. NOT coming back here! Horrible service!!!

After looking at the food options at Great America, I decided on Subway. It was a healthy choice and a salad sounded good after walking around in the sun for hours. Sandwiches were about double the regular price, so my husband passed on the foot long (close to $13), but my salad was under $10 (about $7) and it was wonderful. I ordered the veggie delight and asked for all of the veggies. I even received extra black olives upon request. Light dressing was added and I was set with a healthy, affordable lunch! I did drool a little as I watched husband eat fried chicken and hot gravy from a nearby restaurant, but I was completely satisfied with my vegetable medley!

I went to the subway and the ladies was terrible as many reviews say. First, she yelled kids to ask what they want to order. They were scared to ask her. I helped them what they want little bit. My kid asked ranch dressing at last and she used paper corn ranch. So I asked the lady to make sure about she used not regular ranch dressing and not spicy, No black pepper inside. The ladies yelled at us no spicy!! They said inside bottles are same. Then why they labeled different? One of the lady said she is a manager. I asked them to nicer and gentle at least to kids. Of course, my kid's sandwich with peppercorn ranch was spicy for her. She has had subway sandwiches many times many place. She knows about what the taste like and what she wants.The ladies said it's ok to come back if it's spicy. I don't care money and I don't want new one. But their attitude was super rude. So I went to back to talk with them. They still said it's same and not spicy. I asked the manager " why do you label different?" She said " she doesn't know." How come a manager doesn't know about her store works? I don't think she is not a manager. I told them about the reason why I came back there. Because their attitude was not right. It's ok to make a mistake. They need to say sorry and figure out to solve. I was upset there because the manager started ignore me middle of our conversation. There were one family with kids. I didn't use any bad words to talk with the ladies but I was upset. I apologize it for the kids there. One more thing. They don't use any gloves and not clean their hands. To make sandwiches and do cashier with same hands without cleaning. I'm not sure it's hygienic. It's not....If a real manager read this, please fix your terrible costumer service. I don't know about the ladies might have a terrible difficult life or a day. Many people come to Great America for fun and enjoy the day. They are also a part of the day.

The food and service was OK, but the cashier was unfriendly & overcharged me. The sandwich was only $6 but when I added chips & drink, the bill jumped up to $17. I was not given a receipt so I was unable to check the bill to see where the mistake was. I felt too uncomfortable and embarrassed to ask for a refund. But if it happens again, I will definitely call for the manager & notify the corporate office.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My friend and I went and basically got the same thing, where as he payed 20 dollars and I only paid 14. My other friend got a 4 inch which was supposed to be a 6 and payed a grand total of 9 dollars. I thought their saying "five dollar foot longs" not fourteen.

I would give Great America's Subway 0 stars if I could. I went here on a middle school school field trip and the ladies working here were extremely rude. I had only a limited amount of cash to eat lunch and I told them that. While putting on the meat, I asked them what the price was currently. They told me rudely to look at the board. Why would I be asking if I hadn't looked at the board? I just wanted to clarify. I saw that make your own sandwich was $6, and I assumed I was within my price range. It turned out meat costed extra and I had to borrow money from a friend. I would not recommend anyone to go here for any reason.
