Food is yummyService is friendly Although price is slightly higher than other Korean places, their quality is better. The Bonchons are homemade and very fresh. Will come back again!

This place is huge in a plaza with plenty of parking. There's so much seating, and there's also usually a decent amount of people here. We immediately got seated and were able to order.I got the seollantang, which came in a huge bowl. Interestingly the meat was shredded beef. I don't think I've ever had seollantang where the meat was shredded. I don't prefer it shredded, but It was decent, just a little dry. The flavor was heartwarming and satisfying. All the banchan was also really good! This place is a good place to go for convenience and to satisfy quick cravings. Not bad but also not great.

Love the decor and family restaurant feel. the assortment of banchan was good and tasty, and felt homemade. the nappa kimchi could have been fermented a bit longer on my visit, but that might have been a one time miss.I ordered the yukgaejang because I was craving that, and it was good, except a tiny bit too salty. but it did help put the rice down.my SO ordered a duk mandoo guk (rice cake and dumpling soup) which had excellent broth flavor, but my SO did not love the dumplings/mandoo, even though they were homemade. I think she might have been comparing to her mom's home cooking which is always a difficult comparison.there might be some better korean restaurants in the "k-town" part of sunnyvale/santa clara, but for the Mountain View / Los Altos area, Su-Dam holds its own and definitely satisfies and specific cravings I might have.

I think i would give an 3.5 but will round up. I used to come to this place a lot growing up in the area and it was a close competitor to tofu house for me. However I feel like the flavor has gotten lighter. I no longer think the taste can keep up with some other Korean places I've been to. The prices have also risen but at least the portions are really good,

Delicious! Only thing is I wish they provided a little more guidance with the menu. some things like the bulgogi I think we should've been sharing? But I had my soup and my mom had bibimbap so like I was set w my own stuff. Also maybe more sauces at the table too pls

Went for Weekday Lunch SpecialFood - 4/5. They provide a large selection of banchan with good variety. The eggplants were my favorite as it had a smooth texture with a note of sour flavor that really wet your appetite. The crispy gim was also delicious, having a fun texture with a hint of sweetness. The kimchis were disappointing as it had a weak fermented flavor. It was lacking in saltiness, spiciness, and aroma. Bulgogi was tender with a salty and sweet marinade. It was good, but could have used more searing to intensify the flavor. Barley rice tasted healthy and fluffy.Service - 4/5. Despite the slow lunch period in the large restaurant, service was attentive and friendly. They came multiple times to check on me and requests were fulfilled quickly.Value - 4/5. The bulgogi lunch special is priced at a whopping $26. While the food was good, it wasn't amazing enough to justify the price tag. Portions were good and they give a good amount of banchan, but at this price range I expected a simple soup of some sort.Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

Came back here for their Jajangmyeon. I like the Korean variation of this dish. The Chinese variation of this dish is a bit bland, and it can be a challenge asking them to make it vegetarian without any oyster sauce. I can't remember the name of the Chinese restaurant I ate it at once. Somewhere in San Jose. Korean restaurants make this dish better. An instance of immigrants taking a food to another country, and the other country adopting it and making it better. The Koreans make it better than the Chinese immigrants who took it to Korea.

We went here for Mother's Day and last weekend. Their service and workers were great. I love all the sides that accompanies the meal. Their chicken and japchae is so delicious. I highly recommend ordering those. For Mother's Day we ate at the restaurant. The second time we went, we ordered for take out. It's a small and intimate restaurant, but does not lack in the quality of their food or service.

I was craving Korean tofu stew so I decided to check this place out. I came on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was pretty empty so I was sat right away. I ordered the mushroom tofu stew with 2 portions of dumplings as their free add ons (which I was very surprised by as most add ons cost money). I waited for about 10 minutes before the tofu soup came out. The soup was flavorful, the tofu was soft and silky, and there were 3 types of mushroom in it. I'm also eating this 5 days post wisdom teeth removal and I didn't have to chew much so that was a plus. Overall, very nice staff and very good food.

Mixed bag Korean fareCame here for lunch, easy to get seating. Their banchan is solid. Service was great. Their chul pan bibimbap was very good - loved the larger pan for dat extra surface area. Not gonna lie, their naengmyun could use some work. Broth was a little off and the noodles were clumpy.
