Eh swaad tan dil nu chhoo gaya! This Punjabi food truck delivers nostalgia on a plate with its legendary Amritsari Kulche and perfectly puffed Bhature with Kalle Cholle. The kulchas are crispy, golden perfection, brushed with butter and served piping hot. Paired with tangy chutney and soulful kalle cholle, every bite feels like it's straight from the heart of Amritsar. The bhature are pure indulgence--light, airy, and irresistibly soft, complementing the robust, flavorful cholle simmered with authentic spices. The spices aren't overpowering but perfectly balanced, leaving you with a craving for "ek aur plate!"What makes this truck stand out isn't just the food but the hospitality. The owners greet you with open arms and the warmth of Punjab, offering service that feels like family. They might even toss in a joke or two in Punjabi, making you laugh while you savor your meal.If you've ever longed for the authentic, unfiltered taste of a dhaba meal back home, this is it. "Aithon lang ke gaye te bina khaye agge nahi ja sakde!" It's not just food--it's an emotion. Don't miss it! Mention this review for extra Punjabi smiles and love. :;).

We recently tried Spicy Tandoor in Sunnyvale, CA, and had mixed feelings about the experience. We ordered the Dahi Puri, Kachori Chaat, Daal Aloo Tikki Chaat, and Amritsari Kulche with Cholle. While the variety of dishes was appealing, the overall execution left us a bit disappointed. The Dahi Puri wasn't up to the mark--the puris were soggy, which took away from the usual crisp texture that makes this dish so enjoyable. It felt like it had been prepared ahead of time and lacked the freshness we were hoping for.The Daal Aloo Tikki Chaat also fell short, as the spices didn't seem to gel well with the rest of the dish. The flavors felt disjointed rather than harmonizing into the bold and tangy taste expected from a good chaat. The Amritsari Kulche and Cholle, while generously portioned, were overly loaded with oil and lacked the rich flavor typically associated with this dish. The cholle, in particular, could have used more depth in seasoning. On a brighter note, the Kachori Chaat was decent, with a nice crunch and a tangy, spicy flavor that stood out among the dishes we tried. While the convenience of the food truck and the diverse menu are definite positives, the inconsistent quality and lack of flavor in some dishes left us wanting more. We hope to see improvements in freshness and seasoning in the future, as the concept has great potential.

Found the place unhygienic and flavors underwhelming. Service was very slow, we had to go and check on the status of our order 2 times and were not even given an ETA. We understand they prepare the food fresh but it was almost a half an hour for our thali and it was not even rush hour. We were accompanied on our table with a few employees of this and maybe another nearby truck who were also having what seemed like their dinner. This was rather unpleasant since they were loud and it made the atmosphere unpleasant. The tables were not even set up properly. Coming to the food now. Chur Chur Naan was flaky but did not seem to have any flavor. Paneer Gravy and Dal Makhani were bland. Dahi Raita and green chutney were decent. Given the other high reviews, seems like we rather caught them at an odd hour (6pm on a Saturday evening) when they might not have been ready with food and hospitality yet. Thoroughly disappointed.

The food was really good! The only downside is the wait time that comes with it.. We went on a day when it had just rained a few hours back .. there wasn't any place to sit because the chairs were all wet even thought they had a tent like cover over it.. we waited by the standing table, it took about 15-20 mins for the food to come..But overall it was worth the wait.. if you like the dark colored semi dry chole, they only come with the bhatura so you can sepcifically ask for then even with the kulcha.. Their suji halwa was great too with a strong flavor of kesar.. would definitely be going here often! The best chole bhature I have had in the bay area !

I ordered chhole bhatoore and papdi chaat as I heard a lot about it. Bhature was crispy and tasty. Chhole was little hard and not soft although the taste was good. Papdi chaat was fine.

The veggie review! Did a take out from this place. The chole was on the spicy side (more of the whole spices) but it went well the bhature. I wish the bathure was a little thinner making it lighter to eat. Tried the chur chur naan as well, it is a huge size and was really good. The kachori chaat was decent as well. Very heavy for a appetizer.

Best chole kulche: the kulche is so crispy and brings back fond memories of home. They have a small dining area outside and it gives all the dhaba feels. You won't be disappointed. The kulche, the chilli, the chutneys eas the star of the dish One request: we drove all the way from south San Jose and this place lacks restaurants. Kindly consider expanding there someday. You won't be disappointed. By that I mean almaden/blossom hill/Santa Teresa neighborhood

We've been wanting to go here after listening to their ads on Indian radio. Weekends weren;t working and so we finally got a chance tonight. We reached there around 7:40, it was about 4-5 deep. By the time we were done it was 10 deep. The bhature comes fast and is really good. We are big chole bhature fans and dont hesitate trying chole bhature at any place. They come with chole , stuffed mirch, onion and chutney. Finally we get chole that is good and as expected. And good for us to come back again. We tried both ie kulcha and bhature. They have a small menu and are good at what they make. Definitely going there again.
