I FINALLY had the chance to try this neighborhood gem and I have to say it was the best decision I made last night. If you are looking for a delicious and hearty Italian meal, this is truly the place to go. This place is located in an area not very busy and very close to a normal neighborhood. However, this spot should not be missed as it is that great. We knew it was a neighborhood staple, with lots of regular returning customers and finally tried it. We started of with a complimentary bread which was amazing. Crispy on the outside while soft and fluffy on the inside, it came with a delicious garlicky sauce as well. For our mains we ordered:* Chicken broccoli pesto fusili pasta - this was DIVINE.... me and the husband could not stop eating this... and we can't wait to go back and get it again*Short Rib Bolognese - the lady helping us recommended this one and the short rib (true to word) was fall off the bone And soft/tender. The pasta in the bolognese sauce went perfectly well with it. *Tiramisu - this was delicious as well... by the time I was able to take a picture, the husband had eaten 1/3 of it... it was that good. There are these teeny chocolate chips in the tiramisu that make it deliciousOverall, fantastic experience and we will definitely be back! Ambiance is also perfect for different occasions and the service here is absolutely TOP NOTCH! Give this place a try!

Great Italian comfort food, served up from a tiny strip mall restaurant. Generous portions. Friendly service.

If you love pasta like we do, Sorelle Italian Bistro is the place go to. It's a family owned mom and pop restaurant, so you know you won't be getting the commercialized version of Italian food. We had a party of five and we each ordered something different. The orders consisted of Sorelle short rib bolognese, lasagna, linguine fruti di mare,, ravioli a la Teresa, and gnocchi basilicata. The portions were generous. We also had the fried calamari and artichoke. Both wee done really well. I actually got full off the appetizers and took home my lasagna. Everyone enjoyed their pasta and had lots to take to go as the portions were generous. Service was great as it's a family owned business. They were all so friendly and allowed us to bring in a birthday cake for someone in our party. They willingly brought us plates and utensils for our cake. We did share the cake with them; and they were so grateful. So if you love pasta and a cosy place to dine, be sure to check this place out. We'll be back for more pasta!

We arrived for an early dinner and were able to park in front of the restaurant, but we noticed the small lot quickly filled up while we had dinner. Food was top notch- loved the bread, the fried artichoke was unique, and my lemon chicken risotto was delicious. Portions are large based on our entrees. We ordered the tiramisu and it tasted creamy and well-made. The servers were friendly and checked in frequently. We plan to stop by again soon.

Ambiance: This restaurant does NOT have a good "ambiance" it is in a strip mall and it is a converted space where the entire space has been converted into converted into a restaurant (think of a big room). The part that is the kitchen is sort of hidden away and the restaurant is quite warm (even though they have the AC going). Service: The service was so-so, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.Food: We went there with my in-laws (so six of us) and I would have to say that their food was good. I would go here again but not in a big party nor for a special occasion, I would go here with just my kids and wife. - Bread: We asked for bread and it came with oil and garlic which was VERY fresh...the bread was good.- Baked ziti: I had the baked ziti with penne and it was tasty and the meat sauce was not overpowering. - Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife had a salad with salmon and she said it was good.- Garlic Shrimp Pasta: My mother-in-law had this dish and she said it was tasty but she had to take 1/2 of it home.- Alfredo pasta with chicken: The portion was large enough for our two boys to share this adult portion. They both liked it; I sneaked a bite and it was good.Unfortunately, I only got to take a pic of my baked ziti (sorry guys). I would recommend you to try this restaurant but just be warned it is VERY casual...and don't expect anything fancy nor a great ambiance.

I'm honestly surprised this restaurant has such high ratings. My family and I frequent a lot of Italian spots around the Bay Area, and when we came here last week, everything felt pretty average. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not memorable either. With so many great options out there, I don't see myself coming back, especially for the price. I was really taken aback by how expensive it was compared to the quality of the food. If the prices were about 30% lower, I might feel differently, but for what they charge, there are plenty of better places within a 5-mile radius.
