My boyfriend took me out to dinner at Son & Garden for Valentine's Day and it was the best dining experience I've had so far this year. The place was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend as a place to go for date night.

A friend and I decided to give this place a shot, that was a good decision! The area is a little sketchy, considering it's in the tenderloin. However, once inside, you're transported into a garden party tea room.We split the beet salad, calamari, and gnocchi. The portions were perfect for sharing and the service was impeccable. They also have a lot of fun and creative cocktails if you're into that. Great food, great ambience, and great service.

Ok so I have been really wanting to come to this restaurant for a very long time. I have been looking at the reviews and all the photos counting down the days to finally trying this place. I live in the East Bay so this was going to be a trek with some friends out to the city! The minute I saw beverages in different cups like biridies and cotton candy on drinks I was so excited! We finally arrived and were sat pretty quickly because we had a reservation. We sat down and looked at the menu and quickly realized that not all the beverages I saw online were on the menu. Asking the server he stayed they have a sister restaurant next door and most of the drinks and food I wanted was over there!!! This was where I was pretty frustrated!! Anyways, my friend didn't want to move so we ended up eating there. I ordered myself a mimosa with their cotton candy and edible flowers. It's very much a place to take photos of all your drinks and food! Just look at my photos! You could see everyone around the restaurant taking photos of everything. The restaurant had flowers everywhere all along the ceiling and walls. They had a cute little corner spot for a small group celebrating a birthday. I ordered the eggs Benedict with the fried chicken and it came out with an interesting gravy sauce. The chicken was cooked deliciously and the batting was light. I believe they used panko for the batting and it was perfect. I asked for a side of regular hollandaise sauce because the gravy dried up quickly and I needed something to coat the chicken with. The breakfast potatoes looked awful so I asked to sub for french fries and they did. The food and drinks overall were ok and yes, I will be back to go to the other side. The other side just staring through the window had awesome treats and drinks that we couldn't order! I tried to go inside to have a cocktail at the bar and was told a big fat NO! This is the reason it's getting 4 stars because I couldn't order anything from their other restaurant.

We were seated promptly on a weekday morning, it wasn't crowded at all and people were just starting to come in. Super quick service and friendly staff. We ordered their matcha mochi pancakes (sole reason why I came here), matcha and ube lattes. The pancakes were soft and chewy, and I really enjoyed it. The lattes were delicious. This is the perfect brunch place for girlfriends to dress up and take pictures for the gram! They put a lot of effort in presenting the food and drinks which I really appreciate. My husband and cousins thought it was meh because they were put off by the floral explosion and pink decor lol but my stomach and camera roll left full and happy.

I had the fried chicken bibimbap and I loved it Son had the smoked salmon Benedict and also enjoyed itWe started with ube lattes which were delicious.

Dined today as a party of four for lunch and all of us enjoyed our dishes. The floral decor is charming! We got there just before noon and may have just beat the lunch rush as our orders came out in a timely manner. My Bear Belly Panini with a side of fries was excellent. The pork belly was lovely combo of meaty, fatty, and sweet. The pickled onions and pepperoncino helped cut through rich fillings. The soft, lightly toasted bun was easy to eat and remained sturdy enough to hold everything in. It was huge! I ate half of the sandwich with the fries and took the other half home to share with my husband for a pre-dinner snack. I really liked my lavender spritzer, but wished it was larger.Service was friendly and attentive. We were checked on a few times during our lunch hour and our water glasses were filled often. The floral decor continues in their well-maintained restrooms!

Cute vibe, pretty plates, and drinks are so yummy. Try not to take so many pics so your food doesn't get cold.

Loved it ! My daughter has been wanting to come for a while now ! We got the matcha pancakes . And chicken panini and it was delicious

The food and service were great! Pukky took care of us. The drinks were pretty and so good! Bibimbop was delish!!!

The food and the service were delicious. Pukky was fantastic. Always smiling and anticipating our needs. I will be back.
