Grab quick bite before flight. Ordered using kiosk was easy, about 10 min wait on a sunday eve with 6-7 orders ahead of me. Burger was subpar, patty was barely warm even though i ate it immediately, bun was stale, felt as though it was just defrosted. Best part was actually the tomato, onion & pickle. Smash tots were good, but again it was barely warm

The actual burger is good here, apart from some severely wilted lettuce. But just about everything else hampered the experience, including the ordering process, items missing on kiosk options, the lack of organization, and the fact the fries were cold even though they were busy.If there's no line, grab a burger; otherwise, try somewhere else.

Slow miserable service. Over 20 minutes to get order. Kiosks were down and nobody wanted to take an order at the cash register. Absolutely miserable, slow service and wildly disorganized.Pick anyplace else.

So I know this is going to sound strange, but my review is for their chicken tenders and not a burger . Luckily I wasn't in the mood to eat something that would be kinda messy while waiting for my flight at SJC. I was planning to order the chicken tenders when the cashier said they only had chicken tenders and fries. No more burgers since they were close to closing. Cashier was great, food came out piping out (which I loved) and quick, but the chicken itself was bit on the salty side. But for 5 tenders for under $12 (before tax) it was a deal. And the pieces were big. I still have 2 left and content with the 3 that I ate. 4 stars only because how does a burger joint run out of burgers?

You know what this location is surprisingly good. I was pretty surprised. I got a simple meal of the smash fries and classic burger and it was delicious! The fries were nice and crispy and tasted a little garlicky (which I'm a sucker for). If I'm ever in this area again I'll probably come back.

Not too many choices of food when looking for something to eat on a Friday at 8am at San Jose airport terminal B. Five times this past year we've flown Alaska Airlines to Hawaii out of San Jose airport terminal B. All flights are between 8am and 930am, as the planes turn around in Hawaii, and fly back midday to the mainland arriving in the evening, for overnight maintenance. Line a mile long at Chick-fil-a, which my wife boycotts because of their stances on gay rights. Walked a little farther down the terminal, looking for Una Mas, which was closed, but to my surprise, Smashburger was open. Ordered the regular $8.69 smashburger, no cheese, no fries and no drink. Takes some 10 minutes before my order is ready. Two hours later, ate it on the plane bound for Kauai, a six hour flight with no breakfast provided by the airline in the post pandemic era. Burger had the usual lettuce, tomato, raw onion rings, pickle and single patty on a decent fresh bun. They say it is a nonfrozen Angus beef patty. Nothing stood out about the patty, but went well with the smash sauce. Seems like the burger has gotten smaller than when I ate Smashburger in Sunnyvale years ago, before they closed. Unusual thing is that I could order a burger instead of breakfast fare at 8am. Chick-fil-a only offers breakfast at 8am, the only other fast food place open at that time in terminal B. The other unusual feature is that the restaurant was open at 8am, when the hours listed are 10am. Never saw Smashburger open at 8am before in the 5 times we've been at the airport at 8am this year. So if you are at San Jose airport terminal B at 8am, your only choice is Chick-fil-a, which is why there is a half hour wait in line for food.2 miles away, the Smashburger on Coleman ave sells for $7.59. When was the last time you saw an airport food surcharge of only 14%?

Quick service if you just want a burger. I had lowered my expectations but the size of the single smash burger was pretty disappointing. It was about the diameter of a coaster, more of a mini-burger for kids and won't fill you up if you're really hungry.

Thirty minutes prior to boarding, I had the urge to eat something since my flight from San Jose to Seattle was about 2 hours. I decided to check out Smashburger. Its slogan is "Smashing is better" so let's get smashing LOL.I didn't want anything heavy so I opted for only sweet potato fries extra crispy... in other words double fried... you just have to ask for it. They were really good. Nice crunchy and sweet just the way I like them. They are much healthier than regular french fries IMHO.Staff was welcoming and pleasant. Ambiance is comfortable. They have a good size dining area. They are located right across from Gate 24... perfect, I didn't have to run through the terminal to get to my gate LOL... just across... thank you! Till next time... for more smashing, I'll have to try their chicken sandwich + more crispy sweet potato fries of course LOL. Keep smashing out great tasting foods!

very disappointed. The fired was soft and wet as wet newspaper, the meat was dryer than a newly unearthed Pharoaoh, also nothing taste fresh ... I decided not to leave a review first because I think it is important to support local businesses, however I also found out the employee is extremely racist and the owner ask the victim to 'put big boy pants on', this shows how rudeness and disrespect the owner is. If you are about working culture and social justice? This company is based on racism. If you only care about food? It tastes horrible. Base on all the fact, I don't think this place worth anybody to spend money or time on it.
