Smash City Rage Rooms is located in a small strip plaza. Limited parking out front, but more spots in the back lot. The employee working the front desk was the one who helped us and he was friendly - he got us checked in, went over the instructions with us, and got us set up. What was included was a pair of disposable gloves, as well as what looks like garden gloves and a protective mask to protect your whole face, except it did not help when the printer ink cartilage exploded after we smashed it and got everywhere - all over our faces and inside our noses. I felt like it seemed a bit expensive for what you get in the room, especially since most of the items were already pretty smashed up besides the glass bottles.

We got a Groupon for this place as it was one of our alphabet date nights U for Unique date. It was a great way to get out anger and they took all the precautions for safety however The room was very hot. Especially wearing masks and jumpsuits for safety, there wasn't any airflow to the room, especially in a heatwave. Overall that was my only issue as they were very prompt in getting us in a room and let us go over by a few minutes so we could smash the last 2 of our bottles.

Had an absolute blast at Smash City Rage Room! The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience smooth and safe. Compared to other rage rooms I've gone to this is definitely my favorite. Smashing bottles, electronics, and furniture was incredibly satisfying--such a great way to let off steam or just have fun with friends. They have a good selection of breakables, and the setup is well-organized. Definitely recommend for a unique and stress-relieving activity in San Jose! Will be coming back for sure.

This definitely helps get your frustrations and stress out! Hahaha...I remember awhile back when I first heard about smash/rage rooms was on an episode on the Bachelor/Bachelorette, and I totally wanted to do this one day. It looks like a smashin' good time. ;)I bought a Groupon for this place, and I got to use it on a weekday before I had to go do my paint party. It was during the summer time so it was already a hot day. I put on the overalls, latex gloves, actual gloves, and the helmet. I was sweating so freaking much. -_- The experience was for 30 minutes, but I was done breaking/smashing things within 11 minutes. The staff went over the instructions and details. One of them told me that there will be a little holder/tripod for my phone in the room, but the room they placed me in didn't have it. I questioned it, and the guy said "Oh.. it must have been broken by other people. Sorry." So that was a little annoying. I did utilize the hook instead to hold my phone since my phone cover did have a ring clip on it so that worked out. The music that they have blasting is hardcore screamo, which fit the vibe. LolfitsI did like how they do have lockers so that guests can place their belongings to keep safe. I had a bunch of milk glass bottles and two small coffee makers to break for my experience. There's a variety of tools such as a hammer, cleaver, a pan, and a bat that I could use for the breaking. I had a good time breaking and smashing the stuff, but I was melting because of the temperature of the hot day and with all that protective gear on. Overall, it was good to try this out. I knocked off a bucket list item, which I'm glad that I got to experience this. Would I do it again? Maybe.

To break things with zero consequences? Worth it! Visited San Jose with some friends from LA for the weekend and decided to check out Smash City Rage Room--such a fun experience! The staff were welcoming and made sure we had a great time. The setup was well-organized, and breaking things in a safe environment was surprisingly therapeutic. Definitely a unique and exciting activity if you're looking for something different to do in town. And if you are itching for more things to do after, there's an axe throwing room next door.

Had an amazing date night at Smash City Rage Room! We had a blast breaking everything in sight--it was such a fun and unique way to let off steam together. They gave tons of bottles and cool furniture for us to break. The staff were super friendly, the setup was perfect, and the whole experience was surprisingly therapeutic. They also have waters and otter pops! Definitely a must-try for a fun and unconventional date night in San Jose. We'll be back for round two!

I loved my time at the Smash City Rage Room! me and my friend decided to celebrate Women's International Day in a unique way, and I highly recommend coming here! All the safety measurements were great: they provide you with gloves, overalls, shoe covers, and a helmet. All the items were great besides the helmet with the face cover: the face cover was very very "foggy" and it was hard to see though, this is why I'm docking the rating from a 5* to a 4*. The music was good, and the relief I felt after smashing things was amazing. Make sure to pay for add ons: we didn't do so and went with the basic package, so we ended up smashing everything before the time was over. Instead of 30 minutes, we were done in about 15-20 minutes. We had 1 coffee machine and 24 glass bottles included, in addition to an already smashed wood item,

I had a rough week and my bestie surprised me with a session here at smash city! It was my first time experiencing a rage room and I'm glad to experience it at least once in my life. We were provided with jumpsuits, gloves, shoe covers and helmets which was nice. Make sure to wear close toe shoes prior to coming. We were shown to our rage room which has many glass bottles and 2 big items . We had 30 minutes to destroy everything but honestly my friend and I smashed everything within 15 min. It was a great experience and it is definitely cheaper than therapy! Stress relieving for sure :)
