My friend and I were on a late night grocery run next door at 99 ranch, and we were looking for a quick casual restaurant nearby! A few tables were seated at 9:00PM, but by 9:30PM it was just us left. The wall street-style artwork referencing various pop culture was interesting. We wanted to order the Beef Chow Fun, but we were a little disappointed that all the Chow Fun had sold out for the day. We decided to go for the classic Beef Bitter Melon on Crispy Noodle and the baked Pork Chop. For Hong Kong styled cafes, the food was about average and if anything a little under seasoned. We got a very generous amount of bitter melon.Keep in mind it's cash only!

I've gone 3 times in the last 2 days! I love that they're fast, cheap, and the food is all pretty good! Service is what you'd expect of a hk cafe, hardly anyone speaks english but I'm just there for the food.Baked Pork Chop Rice- 4/5 Really generous with the pork chop, but their sauce is a little bit on the sweeter side. This is my favorite. Curry Beef Rice- 2/5 The curry was watery and it had a lot of bell peppers. Stick with the HK style food. Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings- 4/5 These were so juicy and crispy! I also love that it's all mid joint chicken wings. I think it could have been more peppery, but they were a crowd pleaser. Beef Chow Mein- 3.5/5 I prefer chow fun but they ran out. It wasn't anything special. Salted Fish and Chicken Tofu- 4/5 I like the flavor of this so much but I wish they gave more chicken.Black Lemon Tea-5/5 When we ordered this in store, the aunties made it in like 15 seconds. It tastes like vita lemon tea. Really good.

Fast Chinese food. Cantonese style. When we are in Daly City, we like coming here. This place only takes cash, be sure you have cash. All dishes ordered were delicious. Comes out fast. We usually get the pork chop, bitter melon with egg, and salt and pepper squid. Very tasty. Comes with rice with the special three dishes that we ordered.

If you want comfort Chinese/HK food at a no frills place, this would be it! The prices are very affordable (esp in the SF area) and the portions are generous. I really enjoyed the beef and black bean entree, beef was very tender. Chow fun had the classic wok taste, which made it extra tasty. The interior walls are covered with cartoon and anime murals, really cool vibe in here. Staff was great too, super attentive and nice with any of our requests! Highly recommended!

Classic Chinese food for cheap and you get what you paid for. The perfect yelp rating of 3-4 stars indicates the best, authentic Chinese food. They have lunch deals for rice dishes for $8-10 and noodle dishes $10-12. I ordered: 1. Tomato beef Chow fun: Delicious! I liked the beef and the flavor of the sauce with the noodles. I wish the noodles were a bit more crunchy but either way it was still delicious. Lots of beef and the portion size was quite large for $10. 2. Scrambled egg seafood chow fun: One of my favorite dishes and they were so generous with the amount of shrimp! I did feel it needed a little more soy sauce but I guess it's better to be more bland and you can make it more salty rather than the other way around. Overall, Delicious and cheap. What else do you want in a Chinese restaurant. Lots of lunch and dinner deals. Good portion size. Decent service. I'll definitely be back!

Got takeout from Skyline Cafe! We got two really similar orders, one is a pork cutlet over rice and the other is a chicken cutlet over rice. I love their tomato sauce and mixing it with rice. My boyfriend also got their chicken soy sauce chow mein!

Good Chinese food for cheap! Just like many HK cafes, the workers do not have the best services in terms of attitude and mannerism but they are super quick! All of our food and beverages came out in less than 10 minutes! Our favorite was the salt and pepper tofu. My husband and toddler were munching on those non-stop at the restaurant! Everything else was standard for Chinese food and tasted good.Skyline Cafe has deals throughout the day! We came during the evening happy hour (before 6pm) and got a full meal for around $50 after tips and taxes. Totally worth it! The customer services are slightly better in person than over the phone and most of their customers are Cantonese speaking. One of the servers was kind and even helped us pack our leftovers. The cashier lady needs to be a bit more patient though. She seems to always be in a rush even when it is not busy.Unlike traditional HK cafes with the bright white lights, this place is filled with colorful artwork like Pokémon and Mario World. Super random but the paintings kept our one year old toddler entertained throughout the whole dinner. Note: cash only!

Really cheap (compared to most of today's establishments). Service is okay. Condiments are not cleaned. Hella dirty :( One time they gave us our tea and it smelled like they used a dirty rag to dry them.... Needless to say, just drank from water bottles we thankfully had in the car.I love coming here to try out the different things on their menu.So far, I've tried: Beef Chow Fun, Deep Fried Flounder, Scrambled Egg Prawn Chow Fun (Wet), Garlic Yu Choy, Salt and Pepper Pork Spareribs, Green Onion Pancakes, Soup of the Day (had celery and carrots), String Beans with Beef, Honey Walnut Prawns, Seafood Tofu Clay Pot, Chow Mein, Chicken Wings, and their milktea.Out of everything I've tried, I like the scrambled egg prawn chow fun (wet), seafood tofu clay pot, and salt and pepper pork spare ribs. Everything else is okay as well, but I'll keep ordering other things on the menu for now. Looking forward on trying their baked pork chop.

Good for happy hour deals, food is greasy but it's good grease if you are craving food it. Services are a little slow if you don't mind waiting. Space inside is ok decent size for the restaurant.
