Sizzling Lunch

Can never go wrong with sizzling lunch. Lots of savory options between all the sauces and spices. Highly recommend getting the curry beef and the takoyaki. This meal filled me up quite a bit and the salt and savory tastes will keep you satiated for a while!

The main reason why we we go here often is because they have zero health violations. Food is clean, healthy and sauces are delicious.We got the salmon udon and garlic beef rice. Would recommend with extra toppings. The young staff were attentive and pleasantly extra helpful, cleaning up our plates, asking us how's our food, and refilling our drinks without asking. Food came out fast and sizzling as promised.

Sizzling lunch has always been a popular choice for personalized teppanyaki in the Bay Area. Usually there is a short wait time.Easiest way to choose your meal is picking between rice and udon noodles then narrowing down to what meat you'd like. They are accommodating in leaving out anything you don't want on your plate. Garlic butter comes with the order here and the size of the meal leaves people feeling full at the end. Paper guards go around the plate so you don't get accidentally burnt while mixing your items on the hot plate. There is also a variety of sauces and additional seasonings on the table that you can add during the cooking process. Only downside is you'll come out of the restaurant smelling like BBQ but that's expected from most teppanyaki/BBQ places.Overall, we've come several times for lunch and plan to continue visiting! They are quick to accommodate for large parties without reservation as well.

Sizzling Lunch is conveniently located near our home, and I had often heard about its popularity. However, I hesitated to visit, assuming the vegetarian options would be limited--especially since their website only listed one. But I'm glad we finally gave it a try because I couldn't have been more wrong!The food was flavorful, and there were several vegetarian options to choose from. I started with the Cheese Corn, a skillet of sweet corn topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. It was rich and slightly sweet, but a dash of salt and pepper balanced the flavors nicely.Next, I tried the Potato Croquette with Curry Sauce, served on a sizzling plate with croquettes, rice, and vegetables. The curry was wonderfully spiced and truly elevated the dish. Adding some of their signature sauces took it to the next level.We also ordered the Cucumber Salad, which was refreshing and came with a tangy plum sauce (instead of the usual fish sauce). Other vegetarian items on the menu included Tofu with Curry and Tofu Pepper Rice, both of which I plan to try next time.One thing worth noting is that their website isn't up-to-date, as it doesn't reflect the variety of vegetarian dishes available. The service was exceptional. The staff patiently answered all my questions, walked us through the menu, and ensured we had a great first visit.With delicious food and such attentive service, we'll definitely be returning to Sizzling Lunch!

I really enjoyed this! I went during my lunch 12-1 and there was minimal to no wait time. This was the first time I tried this place and it didn't disappoint! Yes, it's freaking HOT HOT HOT! Be very careful!!! Nevertheless with the right sauces and spices, it's very very delicious! I got the garlic beef pepper rice the first day and salmon the next day along with an udon. I've tried several Sizzling Lunch locations in different cities but it's the first time I've visited this one. It was on a busy Sunday so there was no to available tables, so our party of 4 walked in, signed up for the waiting list, and in about 15 minutes the text that our table is ready came in. We were seated and ordered our food, which came out very fast. It was hot, delicious, and we were very happy with the service. The fries were absolutely amazon tasting and became my favorite appetizers. The main courses were also good and we had a really nice lunch. The food was very filling and the ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming.

Had the pleasuring of dining here for a friend's birthday! There's a huge parking lot near and far from the restaurant since there's lots of stores and restaurants nearby. We grabbed a table around 6:15 pm and the place wasn't packed. It's a self service system where you order on a QR code either doing individual order per phone or a group tab. This place has a nice atmosphere for get together, with the scent and sizzle of meat in the air. We got the cheese fries and those were so crispy and delicious. I got the curry beef rice and it was delicious, the meat was tender, great scorch on the rice for some crunch. Great experience.

Love coming here for easy ordering, fast service and good food. I always get the garlic beef pepper rice with extra corn. Sauces are a must when adding flavor, but the consistency isn't as thick as the ones offered at Pepper Lunch so I always have to add extra. Cucumber appetizer was a good palette cleanser. Overall recommend this location.

Love Sizzling Lunch! My sister and I used to always come here about once a week for our udon fix.They have quite a lot of seating both indoor and outdoor. Ordering here is fast and simple, you can visually see everything on their menu on the ipad, as well as order there as well. (Perfect for those who want to enjoy their meal with minimal interactions.)I love to get their udon sizzling plates, either with beef or pork depending on the day. You can adjust the saltiness and flavor of ur dish to ur like with the sauces provided on the table. Bonus points for the hot plates, because it allows for people who are slow eaters to still have a warm meal during their entire experience!Side note, I definitely recommend this specific location over their others, because of their food quality as well as efficiency.
