Good selection of meats, and hot pot! Also, the place is always crowded, so make sure to join the waitlist as early as possible. The ambiance is welcoming, and you can see that people line up, even on a weekday!

very good would eat here again, prices are reasonable for vip menu. would recommend only asking for one order of brisket because one comes in two. Also the service was nice it was great actually, server kept coming back to remove plates and ask if we needed any more soup or meat. The ambiance is very pleasant to see.

I've been coming here for years and highly recommend this place! It's my go to place to bring visiting family as they are great at accommodating large parties and is stroller friendly! The staff is fast, and the place is clean! The soup and grill combos are the best and the meat and veggies selection is the best!I like the many variations in side dishes, fruits and sauces.I highly recommend this spot as it's decently priced. Pro tip if you want to save money, kids are cheaper and if you order only soup option. you save $$.$5.00 extra per person for additional grilling option.

My family and I were in town and decided to visit some friends in the city. They had suggested this spot after I said I was in the mood for some Korean BBQ. I will say, if you plan ahead of time definitely make the reservation, walking in just be mindful that you might have to wait to get seated. We got lucky and scored reservations. This place is huge!! It was the week of valentines week so they had the entrance fully decorated with valentines balloons and flowers!! Very cute detail!!Where do I start, first off this place is huge!! The menu options were hot pots and Korean bbq!! We ordered both options lol, they have all the sides come by in a conveyor belt and they also have a separate bar area for added foods to your hot pot. It was an overwhelming amount of food but they had so many options we had to try as many as we could.I will say the service was a little slower than expected. We were there before the dinner rush so they might not have been as attentive but the servers weren't as quick to change out our grill or replenish our waters and napkins!Overall it was a great first experience!!

It's a decent Hot Pot place. The wait is usually very long during peak hours, just come here during off-peak hours unless you want to wait a long time. The place looks very modern and freshly innovated. Starting off with the atmosphere, it's kind of loud crowd depending on where you're seated. It has conveyor belt hotpot ingredients and you order meat from servers.I came here twice and the staff were somewhat inattentive and rarely looked up and down the aisle the first time around to see if anyone was trying to flag them down. They don't really check up on you. The chairs were sticky, had to wait like 5 minutes to ask for a water, had to wait 5 minutes for the actual water to come, they all had this weird "don't want to be here" attitude. The second time I visited it was a very nice server who was very attentive and nice. The front desk people were pleasant as well. So your mileage may vary for service. As for the food, it was okay. There was a good variety of broth and meats. The broth was great but some of the meat tasted a little hard and dry. Even when trying to cook some of the meat for a few seconds. However the taste is easily enhanced with the tasty sauce bar on the side of the restaurant. Really good options there to enhance the flavor of the meat. Solid conveyor belt food, plenty of variety if meat isn't your thing or if you are looking for something else other than meat.Would recommend this place if you have a little hot pot craving that you need to get fixed. Doesn't stand out from the rest but not bad either. Could train some of the staff a little better for consistent service. Reasonably priced for what you get!

This is my first time trying Seapot, doing both the hot pot and Korean BBQ option. Took us about 30 minutes to get seated, which they use the Yelp Waitlist, so made it easy to get our names in.Once we got seated, our server took a few minutes to get to us and get our soup and meat selections. For the hot pot sides, they did have a rotating conveyor belt at the end of the table, so was pretty cool to pick our own sides without having to wait. They also had Korean BBQ sides like sauces and banchan available in a buffet style salad bar. When we got our meats, we were able to start eating and enjoying. Most of the meat options were quite fresh, except for the pork belly. Despite looking fresh, once you cooked it, it tasted a bit off, so I'd suggest skipping that option. Our server checked on us maybe 3 times for the entire 2 hours my party was there, so I'd say the service was a bit lacking. And even then, it would always take a while to get the meat out. Not sure if they were short staffed, but I only ever saw our server running around.Overall, was an okay experience. I'd say doing both hot pot and KBBQ is quite overwhelming, but gives a good chance for someone to enjoy one or the other, depending on what they prefer. Would possibly try again and focus more on one option at a time.

First timer at Seapot this past Sunday and luckily didn't have too long of a wait for my party of 5. Last time my mom attempted to eat here, the wait was 2 hours long. The restaurant itself is spacious along with a decent parking lot outside. I also appreciated that they had a spacious waiting area with seating as well.As others have mentioned, service can be very hit or miss which could really hinder your experience because you are on a 90 minute time limit. I'd say we scored this time around. Our server was Nan, who was super friendly and checked on us especially when she saw that our meats were running low. She also made sure that we had water and broth. The sauce bar was top tier, packed with different options. Nothing like I've seen before in a hot pot/kbbq spot. If you're unsure how to combo sauces together, try; green onions, cilantro, garlic, ponzu, and thai chili sauce. This was ultimately my favorite mix.We stuck to only hot pot and for broth, we got house hot, spicy miso and mushroom. My mom doesn't eat spicy so she really enjoyed the mushroom broth. The sauce combo above is what complimented everything from the meats to the items on the conveyor.I wish the conveyor was a little bit slower, as it could be quite overwhelming when there are back to back items that you want. I also wished that there were more veggie plates on the conveyor, as there were only just 1 of each type of veg. Unfortunately, the plates aren't labeled so you run the risk of trying new items if you're unsure of what it is. We ordered a whole bunch of meat, lost count of plates but enjoyed the experience. Tip was auto added onto the bill, totaled up to $222.43 (We did not upgrade to premium meats)

Seapot is always so busy but fortunately service is attentive. It's a place best suited for large families of 4+ who are familiar with the hot pot/kbbq process of ordering meats, broths for soup, and all other accouterments for a DIY meal. It's otherwise overwhelming for those who prefer to order from a simple menu and have the item prepared and served to them. This is not that place. There is an array of options, combinations, etc. to choose from, along with a moving conveyor belt of "ingredients" that only make sense iykyk. With that, be prepared to also have the undeniable KBBQ smell fused into your pores, hair, and clothes after you leave. It lingers forever, an immediate shower and laundry is a must lol. Otherwise, if you're ok with all these factors, then go for it!

So grateful they were able to accommodate my group of 11 for dinner. We booked a private room for dinner at 5 pm. (Note: you have a 2 hr limit vs 1.5 hrs outside in main dining area. It costs a little more per person but the ambiance and setting worked well for my group). Check in was easy and we were seated fairly quickly. The room had a large screen TV and included karaoke. Food was good and service was quicker at the beginning vs the end of our dinner but service was not an issue and there were plenty of employees we could flag down. (Food came out quicker and they checked in on us more often in the beginning) We opted to grill our food and do hotpot & everyone loved the variety of meats and vegetables available. Their private parking lot was a bonus and we always try to have early dinner so parking is not an issue.

Seapot has a pretty good lunch price: $24 per adult for hot pot or kbbq ($30 per adult for both options). However, the drawback is Seapot doesn't offer best quality meat. They have a premium menu option, but I haven't tried it. Pork belly and berkshire pork are my favorites, both very tender and delicious. Brisket can be hit or miss depending on how fatty it is (fattier = tastier). I had a bad experience at the San Mateo Seapot where I hated all their beef cuts because everything was too chewy, so I was hesitant to try other beef options at Daly City. What's fun about Seapot is the rotating selection of veggies, noodles, seafood, and fishballs. Grab whatever entices you, but don't put empty trays back on the belt. The caveat is nothing's labeled, so you grab what you like from visual experience (or take a chance and try something new). The sauce/condiment bar is your best friend, where you can mix and match creating your own concoction of tart, sweet, salty, umami dipping sauces. There's also a lot of appetizers and sides like fresh fruit, egg rolls, japchae, korean pickles, fried sesame balls, and mantou with condensed milk. Everything here is ready to eat (not raw) and self-serve, but it can get pretty messy and dirty.Service can be a hit or miss. Sometimes I've needed to flag down our server for a request (more meat, more broth). Overall Seapot's a decent hot pot place for their price point. Convenient location in Daly City and has their own parking lot.
