After you read this, just pick up your car keys and drive here, right now!! Go Go Go!!! The best birria tacos in San Jose CA! 5 stars all around! From the location, the cleanliness, food, and atmosphere, you will surely want to visit and check out all the hype this place has to offer! First off the service was phenomenal! Me and my son were hungry and we were feeling some birria so we decided to check this spot out! We were greeted and were helped out so much! Such a welcoming business! The food was so good! Top notch to everything! From the Quesadillas, rice , beans, and especially the birria tacos, everything gets 5 stars all around! I thoroughly enjoyed the surf and turf tacos! So rich and flavorful! I would definitely get that if your gonna order! We will definitely be returning!

What lead me here was a foodie on YouTube. (I'm beginning to think they are paid to rave about particular places or these places make the food extra fresh and special for these people) He raved about the surf and turf taco? (I think it was called)I'm not a big birria fan but figured I wanted to try the shrimp tacos. I did in fact try a bite of my husbands surf and turf Walking in was greeted right away with a smile and enthusiasm (that matters to me) we got 4 or five items plus strawberry Fresca and horchata. Both drinks were lacking. Strawberry was just to sweet to my preference. I feel it was priced a little high for the amount of food. But that is just everywhere at this point. The food was definitely not bad, but definitely not life changing. (That's what the video said it was) What I did enjoy was the salsas, they both had great flavor I appreciated the customer service. The owner or manager seemed very kind and it hurts to give a three because I was hoping to love this place because I just moved back to San Jose, from Vegas where there is lots of food but not a lot of good food. Being back home I wanted to find something delicious that was close by. I will give this place another try because I try everything twice if they have good service. reason is I do believe most restaurants are not consistent 100 percent most of the time, it just happens that way. If I have better experience next time I will increase the starrage ; )Also loved the San Jose mural

My last experience with Rosario's was incredibly unfortunate. I called on Friday and placed a small catering order which included 2 "49er platters" comprising of 14 quesabirrias with consommé and an additional side of rice and beans. I paid for it by phone since the order was to be fulfilled the next day at 5:00 pm. My husband came to pick up the order on Saturday and the staff had no idea about my order. There seemed to have been a miscommunication among the staff. My husband had to wait as they rushed the order in "10 minutes." Thankfully the staff whipped up our order as quickly as they could. Things are getting worse at Rosario's ... like did someone forget to pay for hosting your website? It is showing as an invalid site. The lack of professional quality is disappointing and this makes it hard for me to recommend this establishment as well as be a returning customer.

The quesabirria and surf n turf crispy tacos are off the hook! This little hole in the wall gem is awesome. The food is delicious. the menu simple, they have place to sit, and they're super nice. Maybe the best in San Jose.

Great queso birria tacos just a tad bit expensive. Thought the surf and turf would be great but just stick to the regular queso birria, it's way too much and not as good.

I would come back here again for the Surf and Turf Tacos alone. So delicious! Flavorful birria, juicy shrimp, and the tortilla is the perfect texture. Consomme is well made too, not too salty! I loved it. I highly recommend! The al pastor tacos were just okay though. FYI - I would consider eating outside or taking this as takeout. The indoor seating area is REALLY WARM. Lacks some air conditioning :(

Best Quesabirria Tacos in San Jose! We visited Rosario's Tacos on a Friday evening and found it moderately busy. Parking was a challenge, so I had to walk about 5 minutes from the street parking spot I found. The interior was minimally decorated, aside from the colorful wall mural, and the ambiance was very casual. They had a few outdoor tables, but most of the seating was inside. I ordered 2 Quesabirria Tacos and a Horchata. The Horchata was handed to me right away, and I only had to wait about 10 minutes for the food. The Horchata was delicious - generous portion size, not too sweet. The Quesabirria Tacos were incredible. The meat and the consommé were both so flavorful, and they had the perfect amount of melted cheese. While the 2 tacos were pretty filling, I easily could've finished 3 of them. The tacos also came with 3 different sauces, with varying spice levels (green one was my favorite). My friends ordered Chicken, Shrimp, and Carne Asada Tacos, which were tasty, but the Quesabirria was easily the winner. Service was lukewarm but they did throw in an extra taco into my friend's order, which was nice. Will definitely return for more Quesabirria Tacos!

I've been seeing this restaurant on IG so much lately, so since I was in the area, I decided to try it. They seem to be popular for their quesabirria, but I can't eat that much beef. I decided to try their al pastor super quesadillas ($14.75). I also ordered a small side of birria consumme ($1) and an horchata ($4.50). I ordered to-go, which added $0.25 to the bill. My order took 20 minutes, which I thought was a bit long. It looked like they had 3 cooks in the kitchen. Everything I had was good, nothing out of the ordinary. It was worth the trip. Maybe I'll try the crispy shrimp taco next time. Parking is a little hard though. Street parking only.

Highly recommend this place. It has outdoor seating and plenty of street parking. While they don't have any Taco Tuesday deals its a great place to have tacos and try the very delicious made tacos that are made with care! For birria and shrimp tacos it was about $15.The ambiance is casual with indoor and outdoor seating and the cool chatted with us and provided multiple recommendations.Service is prompt and efficient. We barely had to wait for our order!

Very small restaurant with outdoor seating. No public bathroom. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon.I ordered the "Godzilla Taco." Lol, it was more like a 12" quesadilla. $30 for ONLY tortilla, cheese, and some meat? Not worth it. However, the sauce on the side that comes with it, that gave it the life it needed.I was full for sure but would I drive all the way back for this? Nah.
