Rootstock Wine Bar

Been coming here for nearly a decade now, and Rootstock has remained consistently great all this time. This is a great spot for an afternoon hangout or light bite (although to be fair I wouldn't do dinner here.)Brass tacks: * Excellent, expansive wine selection (for such a small location!) Lots of interesting choices across a variety of countries and regions. * There are also beers and a few cocktails, for folks who aren't feeling wine! * Knowledgeable, helpful staff: New wine drinker and looking for recommendations? The staff won't let you down. Experienced connoiseur looking for something different? Staff got you. Food recommendations? The staff, again, has got you. * Tasty food: Sandwiches, flatbreads, small plates (olives, nuts, dates, charcuterie, etc.), and some salads. Like I said, light bites, but you didn't come here for a full meal anyway did you?

What's not to love?! Great service, tasty bites, and great ambience. I tried an amazing white Pinot which I wasn't aware was even possible. Loved it! Our table order the empanada trio, deviled eggs, and a flatbread. All were yummy and liked by the group. Definitely plan on visiting again soon!

WOW!Grace was an incredible, friendly server and had so much knowledge about the wines my husband and I were trying. We did the "Perfectly Pinot" flight with olives and burrata and it was an excellent pairing with the wines - I highly recommend all things listed. Music was awesome!! We sat outside and were super comfortable and loved watched the busy street of people on a Friday night. We are excited to go back and learn more from Grace and try more options from the extensive menu.

I really want to like this place. I've been here 4-5 times in the past couple of years and have had overwhelmingly bad customer service from their manager. very snarky and unhelpful. Id recommend We Olive or Tasting House for a better experience in the area. Lots of cheap wines that are overpriced as well.

A couple friends and I came by one afternoon on the weekend. It was pretty quiet inside and the service was attentive. We order a version of a bruschetta appetizer, deviled eggs and wine. The appetizers were delicious! The wine was pretty good too. It's a nice little spot to hang out and relax.

Stopped in for a glass of wine and a quick bite yesterday. The service was fantastic and everyone was really friendly and very informative about the wines they serve. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and trio of bruschetta. Everything was really good! They have bands that play couple nights a week so it can be a bit loud inside but it's a festive environment. They are more on the pricey side with glasses of wine costing anywhere from 22.00 to 50.00! It might be better to just a bottle at that price!

Fantastic food, wine, customer service and ambiance. The pesto chicken sandwich is top notch with chewy warm bread, and a salad with pepitas. I like to sit at the bar. Live music on Saturdays and Thursdays. Great place to meet a friend to catch up.

Came here for a wine flight and food for lunch with a friend and we had a very nice time. We sat inside in the back on the couches which were super cozy. I ordered the "around the world" flight which is three red wines from Italy, Spain and Portugal. I also ordered the pear and prosciutto sandwich which was delicious and came with a side salad. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Overall a very nice time and I will definitely be back!

never disappoints and I've been here quite a few times lately. Wine is fairly priced, staff is awesome, inside and outside vibe is great and the food (snacks and light fare) are on point

The mushroom sliders were bomb made with so much love. The service was excellent, great conversations and the place was clean, chill lighting and comfortable
