This Korean restaurant is known for their rolls or Gimbap. The menu had a variety of Korean dishes with plenty of options to choose from. Parking was a bit of a fight since the plaza was crowded and I would say you can expect a wait for this restaurant on a weekend day or at dinner time.Beef Gimbap: Amazing! Each piece was huge and the order came with 10 pieces. This is a must get here since it is what they specialize in.Tofu Soup: Definitely a solid soup, but I've had more flavorful ones. It does the job, but it isn't anything special.Korean Seafood Pancake: Good pancake with a good texture. I somewhat wish there was more seafood in it and it was a bit too oily. It could've been a tad bit more flavorful as well.

Ordered for pick up for the sweet and spicy chicken and cheese tteokbokki with soondae. Both dishes were decent when eating it at home. Though I felt like the coating on the chicken was too heavy and the sauce was over powering. It made it seem like I was eating more batter than chicken. The cheese tteokbokki with soondae had just 1 roll of soondae, a decent amount of rice cakes and fish cakes, but the dish was heavily cheese. The core of the container was a mix of unmelted and melted cheese. Fast forward to after this meal, I was on the freeway driving and I had to emergency find a bathroom because the poop storm had arrived. Literally explosive and lingering after. Whatever was in these dishes did not sit well with my stomach. And it wasn't the cheese because I avoided it. My boyfriend also reported a series of upset GI after consuming these dishes.

Delicious food for a good price point! Large portions as well, definitely had enough left over soup to take home! The half and half kimbap (tuna & beef for ours) were large and I loved the ratio of filling to rice! Usually it's too much rice but this was the perfect amount. The rose tteokboki is a good combination of spicy and creamy (think carbonara-esque) with tteokboki pieces, fish cake and bits of bacon! The spicy beef stew LOOKS extremely spicy but it's pleasant! It has a small kick at the end but it isn't overwhelmingly spicy to the point it hurts. It definitely still warms you up from the inside (comes with glass noodles inside and a side of rice.) The ginseng chicken soup is a new item added to their menu and it's simple in the best way, it's hearty and has a rich chicken flavor to it! The service was fast and quick and parking wasn't difficult at all. Tables are small (2-4 people per table) but it's cozy!

So glad to have discovered this place! First of all, the kimbap here are huuge, just like everyone says. We got three rolls and they were easily two meals for each of us. Super great value. We love the crispy shrimp and the bulgogi rolls the best, that shrimp stays really crispy and has a yummy mayo sauce which is great. We were a bit underwhelmed by the bbq pork, which was really dry and didn't really taste like anything, it almost didn't feel like meat. I also wish the tuna was more flavorful, but overall I still like it! The service is always so friendly and helpful, and the banchan it comes with is really nicely packaged and delicious. Great place for kimbap, and I want to try their other Korean food too!

This place is not too bad. The sides are pretty good. The kimchi is definitely on point in terms of flavor and taste. We came around lunch time and sat down right away. They gave us sides and hot tea right away. Water is given upon request. We ordered three rolls which were the spicy pork, tuna, and pork belly. The food came out pretty quick. The server was always on the move and very quick in terms of service. The rolls were not bad but I do feel the pork was a bit dry and overcooked. The pork belly was okay but the sauce they added to the roll made it taste a bit weird. The tuna was not terrible. The place is well spaced out so you are not back to back with other tables. Overall the experience was decent. The food was not bad but definitely not the best. You definitely get a lot of food. Three rolls was enough to feed three people. The service was definitely good and quick.

This is one of the best kimbap I have had. The rolls are tightly packed, the fillings are fresh, and the flavors are just right. It is simple but so delicious, and I love how light yet satisfying it is.

I recently came across Roll House on Yelp while searching for a place to get some delicious kimbap, and I'm really glad I did. The restaurant has a cozy and warm atmosphere with plenty of seating.SERVICEIn terms of service, the only waitress working that day was very friendly and accommodating. She greeted me upon arrival, handed me a menu, and efficiently took my to-go order with a smile. Despite being busy with other tables, she managed to serve me promptly.WAITThe wait time for my to-go order was reasonable, taking about 15 minutes. FOODAs for the food, the Fish Cake Soup was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. I particularly enjoyed it and had leftovers for the next day. The Kimbap Combo, which I ordered with spicy pork and spam, was freshly made and delightful. My only observation is that the spicy pork was a bit lacking in flavor. All in all, Roll House is a great spot for Korean dishes like kimbap, tuk bok gi, bibimbap, and ramen. I'm looking forward to returning to sample more of their offerings.

I've eaten at Roll House and gotten take out numerous times. It's a small hole in the wall type shop and it's usually busy when I stop by for dinner. The service is brisk and polite.Portions are generous. I've had their kimbap, tteokbokki, and soondae. I'm not the biggest soondae fan but I enjoyed eating it with the tteokbokki. I usually order the bulgogi and spicy pork kimbap (which isn't really spicy) which are stuffed with plentiful meat and vegetables. It's a comforting mixture of textures and flavors, I'm rarely disappointed by my order. I particularly like the kimchi here and wish more of it was given with takeout orders. I'm usually here for kimbap but would love to try their other dishes, the menu has a lot of variety. I always see people ordering the pork cutlet plate.

As establishments in Santa Clara's Ktown come and go, one constant remains: Roll House's almost 20 year legacy (and for good reason). From my infancy to post-graduation life, the food has always been consistently good. Though nostalgia's a powerful ingredient, even newcomers are sure to come hungry and leave satisfied. You'd be remiss to leave without ordering their signature kimbap; we've ran the kimbap gamut here and tried the entire menu but keep returning to the chamchi, a testament to how good the tuna kimbap is. Everything else pretty much pales in comparison. Their don katsu is also exactly what you'd want in a classic Don katsu. The crust is light and crispy with an extremely moist interior. You really can't go wrong with this dish. If you prefer variety, I'd order the b12 rice cake and don katsu combo. If you're just bordering peckish, be prepared to leave with lots of leftovers. The portions here are GENEROUS (the serving sizes more than warrant a caps lock), but they don't skimp on the quality. The vegetables are fresh and the kimbap is chock full of meat. I genuinely have nothing negative to say about Roll House!

Kimbap here was kind of disappointing . The reviews made it sound like it was going to be the best kimbap but I've had better in Korean markets in Koreatown LA. It was lacking some flavor for me and nothing special. Fish cake was not good. It was almost like it was old and been in the fridge for a while because it was dryWorker came to see if we were ready to order 4 times and within 2 minutes each time.. there wasn't a wait so I'm not sure why they were rushing us. After we ordered the food it took a while to get our food but we did order 2 combos of kimbap so it was a lot.
