Went on a cold rainy day to grab some warm ramen. Did not disappoint.Got the tonkotsu ramen with their homemade spice in it. It was very filling and tasty. My friend had their special shrimp ramen which was a limited time item. The special homemade spice was also added. It was pretty good as well.Easy ordering. The wait staff is polite and service quick. Vibe is also good.

This was the first and last time we go to this facility. Spotted this place when in downtown SV for lunch last month and decided t would be our next place for our next monthly meeting. Went for lunch today with a few coworkers. While the service was great and the server was attentive, towards the end of our meal we spotted a rat/rodent run out of the kitchen and down the hallway to the back entrance/exit of the restaurant. We noticed one of the cooks motioning to the server that they (the cooks) chased it out of the kitchen and kept looking down the hallway, probably to make sure it did not come back in. Everyone stopped eating, we paid our bill and left.

We visited this cozy ramen spot on a chilly Valentine's night around 8:30 PM. It wasn't too crowded at that hour, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The restaurant itself is quite small, with around 10 tables, and the staff--including both the servers and the host--were warm and welcoming. As a vegetarian, I had a couple of concerns. First, the limited vegetarian options--only two ramen choices and three vegetarian curries. Second, given the small space, the strong smell of fish and seafood was quite noticeable, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. We ordered one of the vegetarian ramen options and a curry. The food arrived quickly, and from the very first bite of the curry, all my concerns faded--it was absolutely delicious! The ramen was flavorful as well, and the portions were generous. Even with just two dishes, we had leftovers to take home.Overall, it's a great ramen spot in Sunnyvale, but I'm giving it 4 stars due to the strong seafood smell inside.

Overall I thought this was a good ramen spot! The wait staff was very nice and welcoming upon arrival.I got the half order of takoyaki (3 balls) and the tonkotsu ramen as-is. I love that they have a half size for the appetizers - it's perfect for when I'm dining by myself. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside as it should be! The tonkotsu ramen was also very good! The broth wasn't the most flavorful tonkotsu that I've had but everything else was great. The eggs and noodles were cooked perfectly (and I like that they give both halves of the egg). The pork wasn't your typical thinly sliced, fatty chasu, and texture wise reminded me more of a short rib, but it had a nice, almost sweet flavor and they gave a generous serving in the bowl! I thought the other toppings were proportioned well. I'm excited to come back and try something new!

Chance find walking around Murphy Avenue in Sunnyvale and of all the places on Murphy, we decided in this ramen place. We arrived shortly after it opened and we were seated immediately. The menu was simple--assorted appetizers, good ramen choices but also curry dishes and limited selection of mini donburi bowls. It's ramen/curry centered, so no sushi or teriyaki type meals. We ordered the takoyaki, tonkotosu ramen and a curry dish. However what particularly caught my eye and was very curious about their black curry--not a usual menu item. The black is not squid ink, but is made with activated charcoal (not sure what that meant)--so I took a chance. I paired it with creamy crab croquette (additional cost), it was surprisingly tasty. Be forewarned there is a little gritty aftertaste, but overall it was very nice and it went well with the crab croquettes. The takoyaki was surprisingly delicious. The texture was a little creamy and tasted nice--I would order it again. The tonokotsu was ordered for it to be spicy and it checked the box--it was also very flavorful. Our meal was reasonably priced at about $45 for 3 items. The service was good & our waiter was attentive. I am looking forward to returning.

Was very pleasantly surprised by how good this place was! My kids like to take Caltrain so we've been trying different restaurants in Sunnyvale and this was next on the list. We got there around opening time on a Saturday and we were seated right away and were able to place our orders quickly. My young kids shared a tonkatsu ramen while my wife and I shared a katsu curry rice and a tonkatsu ramen as well. Both were very flavorful and had decent quantity. Surprisingly our fave item of the meal were the really delicious onigiri! They were perfectly browned and had a wonderful light savory flavor. We would come here just for the onigiri! Needless to say we will be back!

My official 100th review and no better way to do it eating one of my favorite cuisines - Ramen! For the last year, I've been on a fitness and health journey which includes cutting out/minimizing certain foods. As a result, I haven't eaten Ramen in over a year since there aren't many options that provide the gluten free noodles.I decided to search for places that offered shiraraki noodles and luckily I was able to locate this place! This place is a small and cozy spot located in downtown Sunnyvale. We got sat within a few minutes of walking in and it was relatively busy at the time. The menu was pretty straight forward and I was ready to get the party started.I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen which appears to be their most popular bowl and decided to make it habanero hot for an extra $1. I also substituted the noodles for shirataki noodles for an extra charge. I was a bit hungry so I ordered a agedashi tofu as an app.The food took a bit to come out but when it did, it was piping hot and looked delicious. The broth was super flavorful and was happy to see the spiciness level was not unbearable. The shirataki noodles was surprisingly not too far off from a texture standpoint from traditional noodles and it was very satisfying. Everything else was on par including the pork pieces and eggs. Overall a very solid Ramen bowl! The agedashi tofu was pretty standard and was a great addition to the meal. The service was okay - got everything we needed - not overly friendly but got seated and our food on time. Will def come back to try the other ramen options. Huge plus for them to offer shirataki noodles!!

Food: Solid 4.2. Went with the Tonkatsu, Karaage, & Fried Gyoza. The Tonkatsu was very flavorful. Beef was a bit chewy and the broth was just a bit too oily for my taste but everything was good though. The Karaage stole the show with its perfectly cooked chicken, lite batter, and crunchy crust. The Gyoza was just as tasty.Ambiance: Clean establishment with great customer service. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.Parking: There's plenty of nearby parking but expect a bit of a short walk. The street in the front is blocked off from vehicles but surrounding areas include street parking and parking lot parking.

Good value for the money for lunch. Portion sizes are large. The broth isn't top-tier like those other ramen places with hours-long waits (it's oily for my taste), but this is a solid place where I would go if I wanted noodle soup.Takoyaki was okay. It was not bad but also not great. I probably wouldn't order it again.

Was expecting a long wait during weekday lunch but maybe I went on a good day! No wait. Started with gyoza which were very yummy, and I recommend them. Then tonkatsu broth ramen. Love that it comes with the egg and you don't need to order separately. I feel the soup could have been just a little hotter but it certainly tasted good. Service was good; they checked up on us and gave water refill. Quite enjoyed it and will be back.
