Quiroga Taqueria

I recently had the pleasure in partaking at this food truck after a recommendation from a coworker/friend to grab some lunch. In short, a very tasty burrito that can feed one very hungry person or shared with two though I'm sure you wouldn't want to share. L O C A T I O NOn Lawrence Expressway and E. Arques St, there's a Chevron Station. They park on the side. There's plenty of parking around the station so you can park and walk over to the truck.M E N UThey have a pretty standard menu of food: burritos, quesadillas, tacos and tortas. You can choose your meat: Asada (Beef), Paster (Marinated Pork), Chorizo (Pork Sausage), Lengua (Cow Tongue), Cabeza (Cow Head), Pollo (Chicken), Carnitas (Pork), and Suadero (Fried Cow Meat).I decided to go with a recommendation of Super Carne Asada Burrito. It was packed and large. It was super flavorful without any of the salsa which all salsa is home made.S E R V I C EWe ordered and it was fairly quick to come out! I paid by card.O V E R A L LDefinitely would come back to try out the tacos and more meat! It's a great way to get something quick (though I did come later than lunch time), so perhaps it will take a little longer during peak hours. Definitely try them out!

Quiroga Taqueria is located in the Chevron parking lot and they're setup in the corner with some covering so that's nice if the day is hot. I was really excited as I approached and could see the Al Pastor on the spit so thought we were already off to a good start since Al Pastor is my go to meat and having it freshly carved is the best. $12 for a super burrito here isn't too bad so was excited for it. It took only a few minutes to come out, which was nice not having to wait 10 mins for my burrito even though I had a few people in front of me. They seem really well run with one cashier, one person handling packaging and two people cooking. They offer a standard red sauce but you can also ask for additional red sauce or avocado sauce, which I didn't try but regret now.My first disappointment with the burrito was that it wasn't that hot, even though I ate it within 15 minutes or getting it. It also seems that they do not include sour cream or avocado/guacamole in their super burritos, which was a bit disappointing. I probably should have asked what came in it since their menu didn't describe what was in the burrito and I guess that is my fault for assuming??? You can add them both for an additional $0.50 each, which should have tipped me off. Onto the flavors. This burrito is one of the more sour super burritos I've had, and this is without adding any extra lime or anything else. I also found myself looking for beans in the burrito as they were pretty sparse. I do wish it was a bit bigger as my go to is usually Lopez Taqueria and theirs is about the same price but about 25% bigger with more meat as well. The red sauce was okay, a bit bitter but had a nice spice level to it. I think this burrito would have been much better balanced with the sour cream and avocado but considering how small it was, I think I'll stick to my usually at Lopez down the street.

Finally getting around to writing this food truck a proper review. Long overdue, I have been going here for my taco fix for the past almost 5 years when I'm at work. Hands down, one of my favorite places for an Al pastor taco! The grilled pineapple, Mexican onion, and jalapeño is the best touch! I enjoy it so much that I always look for it at other places now. Sorry, not sorry! I've tried their carne asada and lengua tacos, but nothing compares to their spit roasted marinated pork. This small business is parked off of Lawrence Expwy during the day time in a Chevron parking lot. There's quite a few spots so don't worry about finding parking unless you're going during peak lunch time. TIP: don't park at the gas pumps because the owner will get in trouble! Being outdoors, it's a different mealtime experience to dine next to your car under the open sky while you listen to the busy traffic. Otherwise you could always pick up takeout and go munch somewhere else, they always pack the food very securely.

The Al Pastor Tacos are a must here! The Carne Asada Tacos are decent. I like the Serrano pepper and grilled onion that they serve with the tacos. Service is always quick.

My new favorite food truck. They have pastor on the rotisserie!!! Every time I go here there is a line and for good reason. Al pastor is delicious and food comes out quick. Friendly staff with a smile. Right in the parking lot at the Chevron gas station corner. Lawrence Expy and E. Arques street near City Sports.

If you want the best tacos with the best service, look no further. Quiroga Taqueria is my favorite taco truck in the Sunnyvale area because of their kind service, quality food, and ease of access.The al pastor tacos were seasoned very well and had a great assortment of toppings. Their sauces provided are super tangy and exciting to use, the avocado green sauce is my personal favorite because it helps to cool down the spiciness of the tacos!Coming here again, and again...

Affodable, flavorful, and authentic. Friendly service and never disappoints. Favorite meats are cabeza and suadero.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and we have some of the best tacos north of Mexico itself. And these... these are the BEST tacos I've EVER had! Their meat is all really good but the cabeza is by far my favorite!! Sooooo juicy and moist and had the most amazing flavor! I can't wait to try the torta next! The food truck looks very clean and the workers are so sweet and clearly put a lot of love into their business!! I've been telling all of my coworkers to try it and so far they LOVE it!!The ONLY complaint that I have is I wish they were open later than 3pm because I would probably order to-go for dinner every night after work! DELICIOUS!!!

Quirogas has the best tacos and red salsa in California. There is no other taco that compares.

Just got a burrito Al Pastor with pineapple, by far top burritos in San Jose. Each bite was good, good meat to beans and rice ratio. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!
