I was fortunate to have the Pupsa Lady visit my apartment complex, and I immediately ordered 9 pupusas. These pupusas are so delicious and filling. I can throw down when it comes to food, but I can only eat 2, and I'm full. They are a little bit more expensive than the usual pupusa but are worth it. I ordered the revuelta, chicken, pepperoni, and jalapeño. All delicious

We encountered the Papusa Lady at the Guglielmo Winery music event they have on Wednesday nights. It was our first day in Morgan Hill and we just wanted some wine. Papusa' s were a nice surprise! The event was supposed to start at 5pm, or at least, that was what was listed on the event website. We actually were behind the food truck on the way in at about 4:45pm. They didn't start serving food for about 30 min. We ordered four papusas, some garlic fries, and a chicken shawarma taco. It took about 30 min to get our food! That's our really only complaint. Didn't lower the stars at all though. That's food truck life. The bean and cheese papusas were really good. Loaded with bean and cheese, it was great with the slaw and salsa on top. The flavors mixed well together. The revuelta was also great, but, it was tough to tell that it had pork in it. Perhaps not enough? Still good though. The chicken taco was also good. Not just chicken, but, cilantro and some other veggies. I didn't like the garlic fries much. They were the matchstick fries which aren't our favorite, and, they were a bit soggy. There were a lot of them, though, so it's enough for a couple people or more. Oh, and the papusas were huge! They were probably four inches or so in diameter. Two each was almost too much. So, combined with some good wine and music, this was a great experience. The ambiance was awesome for a food truck!

You don't always need a fancy name to make things work. For example, I found this truck perched outside Kelly Brewing Company, and they seem to be doing just fine too.Pupusa Lady seems to be a fairly new Morgan Hill food truck, with some sort of county-level COVID-19 compliance dated October of this year and no older social media presence than this very month of November. They seem to make the rounds at local beer-serving spots in the Downtown area of Morgan Hill, running out of a truck labeled Sajj Mediterranean but presenting their own simple menu of pupusas, Mediterranean tacos, and something called Piggie Fries which I may regret not getting. But I did try plenty of the other items, all of which clocked in at a surprisingly affordable $3 each. The Falafel taco came on a single corn tortilla with hummus and tahini and was solid aside from parts having an occasional too-crunchy bit of crust. I would've liked a spicy sauce; popular falafel presentations in the Bay Area often have one, and the Steak Shawarma taco came with a spicy cilantro chutney. Plentiful tender meat was also present along with several veggies on that corn tortilla.I actually kept the pupusas to reheat/share later in the evening. The Revuelta was as solid as any of these traditional Salvadoran treats which I've had, with seasoned pork, beans, and cheese filling a tasty corn masa dough. Pairing it with the cortido (lightly pickled slaw) and mild salsa was helpful for texture and layers of flavor. The Pepperoni & Cheese pupusa sounded like an interesting departure, but the pepperoni was muted by the corn and they forgot to include the advertised marinara sauce in my to-go box.Pupusa Lady shows a lot of promise already as an affordable and fairly enjoyable food option for local beer drinkers, especially with pandemic restrictions in effect. No need to seek them out if you're not in town, but you can feel comfortable with them if they're your food option outside your beer spot of the day.

My Sister and I have been wanting to try their papusas for the longest! Soo worth the chase! LoL We ordered the chicken, revoulta(pork &cheese), and bean ones. All were soo good! Hot and fresh.. also, we had to try the Shwarma Wrap. Very flavorful and good to the last bite! We caught the food truck at Guilimermo's Winery. Therefore, it was only right that we paired it with their wine slushies(Lemon Drop). Ahhh.. much needed!

Lousy. First off, they said the food would take 25 minutes. It took almost an hour to be served. That's a long wait for a food truck. When the food finally came it was deeply disappointing. The revuelta pupusa was mediocre, nothing special at all. The chicken and cheese pupusa was bland and flavorless. Even the sauce couldn't give it any spark. The steak shawarma wrap was under-seasoned and cold. Finally, the fries were soggy, bland, and unseasoned. I really wanted to like this place, but I'm not coming back.

Every time I see the Pupusa Lady Truck I head over and get at least one Pupusa... ok, sometimes two! My new favorite is the jalapeno cheese, although the pepperoni and with Marinara dipping sauce is pretty close. Next time I am getting the revuleta which my honey says is amazing. A new favorite may be in the future. This is a family owned business, with Mom, Dad and the kids all pitching in which is so great to see!

Not my favorite food truck in the area. I gave it 2 tries just incase they were having an off day. However this last time has left me and my husband both sick for the past few days. We know it's from them bc we were the only ones who ate from them and the rest of our family (our kids) are fine! The pupusas were lacking in flavor and the meat looked absolutely terrible and inedible. So bad that my kids refused to eat it and I guess for good reason bc they would've been sick too. I'm sorry I wanted to like them as I see them everywhere and their service was good.

So yummy and fresh tasting! The people working the truck were super nice and the service was quick without sacrificing quality. Perfect little food truck for lunch or dinner! Order the revuelta pupusas and you won't be disappointed! They also had a good selection of assorted sodas.
