Prima Deli

There is a reason Prima Deli has been around for decades. You know you have hit a GOLDMINE when you see old school, Social Distortion posters on the back wall. Literally the best sandwiches on the peninsula! Sure, Robert's Market, Bianchinis's, Woodside Deli(before they changed owners) Erik's Deli are all good, yet cannot hold a candle to a Prima Deli sandwich. Bread is always fresh, substantial amounts of meat and cheese on gigantic sandwiches. Same employees for years which proves owners must be legit and cool to work for. Super nice employees:)

Update: try the tri tip on ciabatta bread with garlic aïoli. (Chef's kiss.) I wanted to try something new and with the help of the staff member, he highly recommended this sandwich. Best tri tip sandwich I've ever had.

I have loved Prima Deli since high school and it never disappoints! My go-to is the NorCal special on ciabatta. They have a great selection of chips, drinks, and housemade side dishes available to pair with your sandwich. The staff is always friendly, and there's usually plenty of parking in the lot. They have a few tables inside in case you want to eat there too!

This is a pretty good sandwich shop but goodness every time we come here it's EXTREMELY SLOW! You can wait upwards of 30+ minutes for sandwiches. We even went at what I thought was an off hour (around 2pm on a Sunday) and we still waited 20-30 minutes for two sandwiches.I did enjoy my sandwich last time though - turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo on Dutch crunch bread. Bread didn't cut up my mouth or break my teeth (a problem I've had with some other Dutch crunch bread at some places)... ingredients tasted fresh and overall sure I'd come back but not if I'm in a hurry.

I was recommended to go here by three different students and oh my goodness was I happy I did. Super fast service, delicious ingredients, so-so prices and a chill environment. I got mine to go but I wouldn't mind eating here. Huge portion sizes and mouth watering flavors! You have to try it!

Best sandwiches in RWC hands down, been going there since younger days . Every sandwich that they have on the menu is satisfactory to Delicious.

Best sandwiches in town! Efficient service, fresh ingredients, good selection of breads, meats, cheese and snacks.

This place can be slow to get your food sometimes but let me put this in perspective for you... My parents drive all the way from Castro Valley to this place to get their deli sandwiches.

Service - spot on. Sandwiches - delicious.Only had to wait a couple of minutes because it was so busy.Pleasant employees!

Food is great and staff is nice except the owner who is super rude. I dropped $45 to $50 with tip and I just find the owner to be a jerk. Don't go into the service industry if you don't like what you're doing for a living.
