We made a reservation for 6:30pm on a Saturday and we came 10 minutes late but they still had our table for us. Parking was a nightmare on University but if you go further into the surrounding streets or into one of the garages you can find something.Arancini balls were a little disappointing, the texture was great but the flavor was weak. Like they forgot to add salt or something. But I dipped in the yogurt sauce from the broccoli dish we ordered and it was perfect.Insalata tricolore was alright, a little too bitter for me and very plain. The broccoli dish was amazing, I'd definitely go back. The yogurt sauce was perfectly bright and acidic and the veggies were cooked to be crispy but not mushy in the middle. They put the sauce on the side for us since someone in our party was dairy-free--for a restaurant that uses a lot of dairy they were very accommodating abt all of our requests.Pizzas were 10/10, everything I needed from a margherita. Friend ordered the chicken and I didn't try it but it looked rlly good with nice crispy skin.Would definitely come here again!

I got the vegan pizza here (March 2025), which comes with a choice of 3 toppings. Ingredients were good but the crust was really really dry. Overall OK tasting experience, not amazing. Service was attentive throughout the sitting. It did take quite a long time for the pizza to arrive though, even with the pizzeria half empty, not sure how long would one have to wait at peak hour... The bill came with an added 5% charge for "employee mandate" (it's listed in the fine prints of the menu) which basically means this employer does not provide full healthcare coverage for their full-time employees, so they have to pay a penalty under ACA. Not a great outlook for the employer, both from a worker and patron perspective.Lowest recommended tipping option was 20%.

I was really craving pizza one night, and I had heard great things about Pizzeria Delfina. The ambiance here was great, and we were seated quickly. I got the pasta fagioli and salsiccia. The soup was so delicious! It reminded me of all the times I had it when I was sick - it's my version of chicken noodle soup. Highly recommend trying it!The pizza was decent. It was certainly large enough for its price, but it just didn't taste great. It needed salt, pepper, and lots of red pepper too to even have a distinguishing taste. This is so strange given that usually sausage pizzas are so flavorful and salty from the sausage! Very disappointed... but at least it's better than Domino's? Maybe it's because I'm from the northeast so I have high standards for pizza, but I've certainly had better pizzas for less all over the US! If you're looking for super authentic pizza, pizzeria Delfina will remind you of it but won't be the real thing!

Neapolitan pizza is my absolute favorite and this place really nails it! White sauce base - mushroom pizza was super earthy and cheesy... one of my favorite pizza toppings. They have 2 types of margarita pizza and we got the upgraded DOP one. Probably one of the best margarita pizzas I've had. Loved the outdoor patio - the vibe was very cozy and it is protected + has lots of heaters so it was pleasant sitting outside even in cold weather!

We recently dined at Delfina, and it was an absolute delight! The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, each with its own charm. Inside, it's cozy with soft lighting and a warm, inviting vibe, while the outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying fresh air --ideal for both lively gatherings and intimate dinners. Now, let's talk about the food! Every dish we ordered was a treat. We started with the saffron arancini, which had a beautiful golden hue and a subtle saffron flavor that was both unique and delicious. Next up was the spaghetti pomodoro, a classic done to perfection with fresh tomatoes, basil, and just the right amount of garlic. For pizzas, we tried both the Cherry Pie and Panna pizzas. The Cherry Pie pizza had a delightful mix of cherry tomatoes and a hint of sweetness balanced by fresh mozzarella, while the Panna pizza was rich, creamy, and completely satisfying. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and you could tell they take pride in quality.Service was equally impressive. Our server was attentive and checking in just enough without being intrusive. Overall, Delfina is a gem for Italian food lovers. With the option for indoor and outdoor seating, delicious food, and attentive service, it's a place worth visiting again.

It you're from San Francisco, you know Pizza Delfina. It's simple, rustic, and yummy. The location here is probably much easier to manage for most. Easier parking, more seats, nicer and newer. The food was identical to the original location from the few items we tried. Service was also better here but that could be a hit or miss. The vibes were good but a bit loud.If you want solid pizza with no frills. Delfina delivers. Are there better Neapolitan style pizzas in SF? Yes. But you'll have a much harder time finding them in the peninsula. It's chewy with a nice crust and solid ingredients. The rest of their menu also provides the Cal-Italian cuisine you'd expect.Overall, not a bad place for a quick bite, especially if you are craving Neapolitan Pizza.

This spot in downtown Palo Alto is perfect for gatherings with friends and family. Each pizza offers a unique flavor, with a chewy crust and flavorful sauce. The outdoor ambiance, complete with wall vine plants, is ideal for enjoying a spring breeze and reminiscent of Italy. Our overall experience at tonight's family dinner was excellent, although there was a mistake with our order and we missed the clam pie. Please note that nearby parking can be tricky due to the 2-hour same zone parking limitation. Make sure to plan ahead.

Great spot for family dinner. Something for everyone! The service is quick and friendly. They are busy so be sure to get a reservation. The star of the show was the tiramisu! It was not too sweet, perfect texture, and great portion size. I will come back for just this and drinks. We got a burrata with crostini's and arugula salad. It was fresh but basic. The tricolor salad was fresh with lemon dressing but also very simple. The pizza was good but slightly undercooked dough inside which was not ideal but it had a rustic, fire burnt, and crispy exterior. We added broccolini to or pizza which was delicious. The meat, sauce and cheese were high quality. Overall, not a pizza I would come back for. I really loved how fresh everything tasted. I had all that food and didn't feel stuffed at the end of the night. I would recommend this spot! Especially for families as there is something for everyone and great interior or outdoor seating.

Today I had the pleasure of having the vibes merchant, Artem, as my server. When we arrived he greeted us with a smile and a firm dap up. He served us with proficiency and efficiency, while addressing all of my personal dietary restrictions and requirements. He even made a cute latte art for me! We had the Broccoli Romanesco and the Saffron Arancini as appetizers, and they didn't disappoint. I particularly enjoyed the spiced yogurt in the broccoli! The pizzas were amazing, with the crust crispy on the outside and bottom, with a nice chew in the middle. Toppings were premium as well. We also got tiramisu for dessert. It was not too sweet, and had amazing texture.Overall, would come again!
