Hidden gem in San Jose! This is a one-stop shop! The owners really thought of everything for your planning needs. The venue is nicely decorated. They have an sitting area for adults, the main area for the kids, as well as the video game area. There is space for all of your needs, foods, drinks (mini fridge), cake/main table, gifts ... everything! If the venue doesn't impress you, just know the owners are AMAZING at what they do. They really do make a great team. Mai is a teacher and is able to engage really well with the children. Both really strive to make the experiences for both parent and children superb! Every child and parent at the party raved about what fun they had! And to make things even easier, they have a pizza spot, right next door as well as Starbucks! Hands down ... 1000% recommend this venue!

Mai and Joe are amazing! We just celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Pixels and it was spectacular! My daughter and all of her friends had a great time. We had the 3-hour painting and gaming party. Everything was well-run and so organized/thought out. Mai and Joe put extra care and time into the little details which I appreciated so much. I highly recommend this venue for birthday parties for both boys and girls. The studio is clean and spacious. Mai and Joe are responsive via emails, and booking everything was such a breeze. We celebrated my daughter's 7th birthday at Pixels with the glow-in-the-dark paint and dance party. It was a hit. The kids had so much fun painting, dancing, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. My daughter couldn't pick a favorite part--she loved everything about it. The venue is very accommodating. They let you bring your own additional decorations, food, and drinks (including adult beverages). We ordered pizza from the restaurant next door, and they delivered it fresh once with was ready. Everything was easy, fun, and stress-free. Highly recommend Pixels to anyone looking for a memorable party experience.

We just attended a birthday party here at Pixels and it was a great experience. It was a two hour party. They had to lights off with black lights, so all the colors shined. They started off with the painting portion of the party. The instructor was just fantastic. She easily and passionately taught the kids each step of their painting. After painting, the kids ate pizza (provided by the family of the birthday girls), then they had cake. After was some cotton candy from their cotton candy machine and finally a dance party. The team of Pixels was well organized and kept the party flowing. Our kids had a blast.

I had my son's 6th birthday party here and it was such an amazing experience for the (20) kids! SO many smiles and the parents were all in awe. I echo many of the reviews here: Mai and Joe are super hosts and super accommodating! With an elementary teaching background, Mai really knows how to communicate with kids and keep the energy going. Within the 2 hour time frame, there was painting, eating, cotton candy, and a mini dance session to top it off. Everything was very well organized and efficient. Other than bringing in my own food, I didn't have to do anything, not even decorations. They have a cute backdrop set up for you, so there's no need to bring anything else unless you want to. As a busy mom, I really appreciated being hands off! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a different kind of kids party venue!

Glow on!!!Pro-tip: A huge plus about hosting a party here is that there is a Starbucks next door, so you can finish setting up and WALK over to pick up fresh coffee travelers! The under-caffeinated adults struggling to make it through a kid's bday party will thank you!

We had the most amazing 5 years old birthday party at Pixels last week! We did the painting and gaming combo - for the painting, you can tell that Mai is a teacher by the way she kept the kids engaged and went the extra mile to help every single kid. We also did the face painting and the cotton candy add on which were hits with the kids! What surprised me the most was the dance party at the end and how the kids all got into it- so cute! Everyone had a great time - it was a plus to have the space to ourselves and adult break time while the kids have fun!

We had our daughter's 6th birthday at pixels for their paint party and it was one of the best times ever! The owners are super friendly, accommodating and patient.From the planning stages to actual day of, they are very easy to work with. We were able to bring in our own food and drink at no additional charge, kids got a guided painting experience and the cherry on top was a fun dance party at the end!What makes great parties and experiences are the small details like tv screens with a personalized birthday greeting, birthday decor in case you aren't a party decorator (like me) and great hosts like Mai and Joe. We will definitely remember pixels for future events and maybe even a moms night out!

We attended a party here and I can't tell you what a blast our whole party of all ages had! Mai and Joe were above and beyond with every single detail in this place. From the start of the event to the final moments the both of them were very involved. Mai with the paint lessons, then dance party, and Joe to assist her and then surprised the kids with cotton candy. The game room was so fun for the teens/boys or kids that didn't want to paint. There was so much room for the other guest out our party just to eat and hang out with the kids. Truly 5 star experience. Will have to do this again!

We just celebrated our daughter's 7th birthday at Pixels yesterday, and she said it was her best birthday party yet!From the first time we visited til we paid our bill, both Joe and Mai were very friendly and communicative throughout the booking process. They even let us visit a few times to help plan for the party. Although the party was only 2 hours long, all the kids, both boys and girls had a blast. We went with the glow in the dark painting for the girls and video games for the boys, which was a hit for everyone, including parents, who just relaxed and mingled. Mai was busy hosting and Joe was the guy making sure everything was running smoothly. I can see why this place has great reviews! Great owners, great business, and most of all, great experience! Thank you Pixels for making my daughter's day extra special!
