Pho Mama

Our go to spot for Vietnamese food in Union City when we're up for a small drive.I usually choose the dishes based on what I'm craving that day, and I always order a side of spring rolls to share. My partner usually goes for a rice or vermicelli plate, and he enjoys the consistency in the meat flavors.This time we called for pick up and food was ready within 10 minutes. Staff is friendly and there's plenty of seating for those who choose to eat in!

Pho Mama is a hidden gem in Union City! We stopped by for lunch and we loved the quality of the food. We ordered the pho and the short ribs rice plate, and both dishes were great.The pho had that perfect balance of rich, flavorful broth with fresh herbs and tender slices of beef that melt in your mouth. It was comforting and packed with authentic flavors, just the way a great bowl of pho should be.The short ribs rice plate was a fantastic surprise--beautifully marinated, grilled to perfection, and paired with fluffy rice and fresh vegetables. The ribs were tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor that really hit the spot.The service was quick and friendly, and the shop had good vibes. Whether you're a pho lover or just looking for something hearty and satisfying, Pho Mama will not disappoint!

Teo Chow Noodle Soup - 4.0 good flavor, nice portion House special vermicelli bowl- 4.0 only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the egg roll. Everything else was Chef's Kiss Bun Bo Hue- 2.5 maybe I caught them on a bad day. Broth was super spicy which I loved but lacked flavor. Needed some saltiness for sure! To add richness I've gotten both take- out and I've had myself a little solo girl dinner a few times. Service is always on point and if you want your drink to-go they'll seal it up for you!

Friendly, welcoming, and quick service. Good portions, plenty of veggies to add, tasty broth, good meat portions, hot fresh noodles. Dont have one bad thing to say about this place. My only suggestion would be for them to have a more flavorful chili option on the table. They have a chili sauce in a squeeze bottle instead of a chili oil in the glass jar with the spoon. But that is just personal choice for me. Cant go wrong with the pho here.

Decent food, fast and friendly service. Menu isn't too big so it's pretty easy to decide. Portion sizes of the plates in many of the pictures on Yelp looked a bit lacking compared to some other Vietnamese spots. I was hoping for a bit more variety of broth flavors like they offer at other pho spots, but they've got the basics here. The fresh spring roll was tasty.

The place is great if you're looking for pho, with a convenient location and plenty of parking in the complex. Place was pretty nice inside, I would say it's more casual dining. We requested to be seated at a larger table since we had senior citizens with us, but they refused and seated us at a table for four, despite the restaurant being somewhat empty. Otherwise, the service was good and fast. The pho was flavorful and came with a generous portion of noodles and beef--enough for two meals, though I was able to eat a lot of it because I was really hungry.

I would give this pho joint 3.5 stars. I went with my go-to order of bun bo hue during my first visit, and while the bowl seemed big, there weren't as many noodles as I would have liked and the portions seemed a little low for the price point. The flavors were decent albeit on the spicier side (which I sometimes crave). It wasn't very busy when I went but there was plenty of seating and the wait staff seemed to be handling all tables with ease. Food came out quickly, and you pay at the front as in most Vietnamese restaurants. Next time I'll try the pho and see if that merits a higher rating. The dish was good the service was fine but I think there are better similar restaurants nearby if you're craving something flavorful and fresh.

Came on a Tuesday night and there were plenty of table available (as well as easy parking)The price to portion ratio is amazing! I got the the Eggrolls and Grilled Chicken Vermicelli Bowl ($11.95) and it tastes just as good as other places but the price was definitely lower than what other places are charging these days.The person who took our order and served us was unbelievably nice and had the sweetest service!! Would definitely come again :^)

I only had the pho dac biet which was solid. Good-sized portion with plenty of meat. The lime slice in my ice water was noticed and appreciated. Easy parking in the plaza.

Excellent Vietnamese dishes! Great flavor and qty for reasonable prices. Service is top notched. Restaurant is very clean too. Highly recommend!
