Pho Lyfe

My wife and I stopped in here for a meal not knowing what to expect. We are so glad we found Pho Lyfe. We had the Dac Biet Bun Bo Hue and Pho Hai San. Both were excellent. All the ingredients were fresh and the broth were absolutely tasty. The environment was clean and bright. We highly recommend Pho Lyfe.

Friends and I stopped by one night when I came to visit town. They weren't busy when we got there, but soon had a bit of customers come in for dining in. They also had a lot of customers coming to pick up mobile orders, so they really were quite busy. With that being said, we did wait a bit for drinks to be served, our orders to be taken and for our orders to come out of the kitchen. We ordered 2 orders of BBQ pork chop and rice plates and a couple different pho bowls (I'm sorry I forgot which ones were ordered!). I really enjoyed my BBQ pork chop rice plate. It was tender and well done (as requested). I actually finished it quite quickly because I was famished. The friends who ordered pho bowls were really satisfied with them. One of them actually bought another order to take home.They have a lot of tables and chairs for customers who want to dine in. It can get quite loud if there's a lot of diners, but it's fairly average in noise level if there's not too many people in there. It's very laid back though, and I saw a lot of families come in with children. Overall, we had a decent experience!

I used to work in this area and often came here for their Bun Bo Hue, aka spicy beef noodle soup. It's not the best Bun Bo Hue but the best in Santa Clara. I always substitute the thick noodles for the pho noodles. If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it. I've had their pho and it's okay. One thing to point out is that they don't use real sriracha. They use this off-brand, and it's super salty and gross.There is one guy that works here that is super lazy. He walks around moping all day, always on his phone, and ignores customers as they walk in. He sits at the table and watches TV, barely doing anything, while the other guy does all the work.

Pho Lyfe is in a convenient location next to a Korean market with plenty of parking and it's very spacious inside. It's quite dark though and the booth we chose had a huge rip in the seats.Service here isn't the best, a bit spotty, and I love to order a side of white onions and that didn't get relayed and had to ask for it twice after I got my bowl of pho.However, the pho broth was piping hot which is a huge plus for me. Also for a small it is a very good portion, lots of noodles and plenty of meat. In comparison to other pho restaurants their small bowl is equivalent to a large bowl. The steak wasn't the most tender but still pretty good.

Chilly night = pho cravings!Unfortunately, it did not hit the spot. I got the pho ga, which was bland and flavorless and the chicken was ridiculously overcooked and dry! There were only a few thin slices of onion to be found. Even after I doused it with extra lemon and sriracha, it barely had any flavor. You can choose fresh or dry noodles. I chose dry and they were still stuck together when it was served. Some never un-stuck throughout the meal.In 7.5 years, I've never seen the fiancé bust a bead while eating. The bun bo hue was so spicy, he was dripping sweat. The beef also wasn't tender. Needless to say, he couldn't finish the regular sized bowl, and this is a human garbage can we're talking about.The spring rolls were good though.

This place is a little hole in the wall. Its in a strip mall adjacent from Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara. There was plenty of parking when we went on Saturday for lunch time. They have various dishes but we went for the Pho.We had the spicy beef Pho and 2 other varieties of the Pho soup. It was very delicious! It was hot and the broth was just soooo good. They briught it iut with all the fixings and it was great! We also had the Passionfruit drink which is a ust have for me and it was the best!The service was quick and friendly. When we got in there were a few people sitting and eating. Then when we were seated they had a rush of customers show up. People now about this place and they come here for the Pho. They have other dishes in case Pho isn't your thing. You can also pick the type of noodle, they have fresh noodles too. I would recommend this place and would advise you to come if you haven't already.

Simple place in a strip mall catty corner from Kaiser Homestead. I had the large bowl of P9, rare steak with fatty brisket pho. Arrived piping hot with the steak just going from red to gray as it cooked in the broth. The fatty brisket was underneath. Plenty of noodles supporting it all. Side of bean sprouts, sliced jalapeño and fresh basil. The basil provided nice aromatics in the broth. Really enjoyed my bowl and left feeling full. If I have another doctor's appointment I'll be back.

I've previously tried the pho, and it was not strong enough, if that makes sense. I like it with more spices.This time I tried the pork eggrolls. You get four for $10. They were extremely good. I could only eat two, they were a good size. It was good quality and good quantity for the money.I ordered on Yelp, and picked up within 15 minutes. They came out piping hot as soon as I walked in. Service was fast and efficient. The interior looked very nice, I would eat there.

Quality/Quantity - A3 Spring Roll with Chinese Sausage and Eggs - Our friends wanted us to try this, no noodles for the carb consciousness.This was good. We would get this again. Refreshing with extra flavors from the salty chinese sausage.A5. Canh Ga Chien Nuoc Mam - Fried Chicken Wings - This was just okay. Our friend had lunch already, so this was his snack.C1. Com Suon Bi Cha - Combination and Rice; Pork Chop, Shredded Pork and Egg Cake - My dish, I must have been hungry as I ate all of this in like under 5 minutes.C3. BBQ Beef Short Ribs and Rice - More than enough food for our friend as she is an even lighter eater than us, lol. C4. Com Ga Nuong Sa Ot - Lemongrass Chicken Substitute Rice with Vermicelli - They were nice enough to substitute the rice for vermicelli for no extra charge, thank you.Two Ice Milked Coffees - Okay.Atmosphere - Good size indoor space and seating.A few outdoor tables.Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm.Plenty of mall parking.Service - The waiter took our order and never came back.Had to ask the server for more water.Have to go up to the counter to pay.Price - $85 + generous tip.Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 2000. Our friends are regular customers here, so I am sure we will be too.

Wanted to try out a new pho place and picked this one randomly off of Yelp. Very spacious interior and no wait time during dinner on a Saturday which was nice. Service was friendly and fast, giving it another plus. Unfortunately, I found the prices to be on the higher end for pho places in the area and portions were smaller in comparison to competitors as well. I've had a lot of viet food and would say this was nothing special. The pho broth had decent flavor but appeared cloudy in color vs the clearer color you'll normally get with a good pho broth. The rice could have been a little softer, but the lemongrass chicken was tasty. I think this is a good spot for a quick and easy dinner, but I likely won't come back.
