Their Thursday's & Friday's Osso Bucco/ braised veal shanks was my go to place.Big portions. Lunch serves in the small dining room & patio.Good value, mostly regular customers, very friendly staff.I had a chance to attend a holiday party at the big dining room. Impressed service.Easy street parking.

First time dining at Peninsula Italian American Social Club. Lunch was absolutely delicious! They only serve Osso Buco on Thursday's but must have had some left over on a Friday. Love Osso Buco so even though probably made day before, ordered the dish since usually it taste extra good if not better the day after! Not disappointed with the order! It was so good and tender; fall off the bone delicious! Service was excellent. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Even split a desert that just hit the spot! Brought home some of my meal and husband loved it and can't wait to go try it himself!

This Italian food was so good and the aesthetic/decor was so authentic and homey and real and cute and welcoming! It reminded me of restaurants in New York's Little Italy! The restaurant is open to the public 11am-3pm during the week and it was packed Friday around 2pm. I got the Italian tuna salad which was very large and good and my mom got the chicken scallopine. It was my first time but she's been there a few times before.Service is good, bread is good. There's an older man waiter who looks like he's over 90 and he's my favorite!

Open to the public for lunch Monday-Friday 11-3. The chef worked at Caesar's on Bay Street in The City until it closed.I've been looking for a place like this on the Peninsula for years. It reminds me of the Italian restaurants I ate at growing up in the Bay Area in the 50s and 60s. It's staffed by people born in ItalyDH had the chicken parmigiana and said it was very good. It comes with rigatoni bolognese and sautéed vegetables. He loved the Bolognese.I had veal Scallopini and it was wonderful. The flavors were really nice--not salty and oily like some pseudo Italian places. The veal had nice subtle nuances, I could not identify the herbs. The sides were the same as with the chicken and very good.DH had spumoni for desert.I am giving 5 stars because it's a great value, pleasant unassuming atmosphere with wonderful food. I am tired of restaurants that claim to be Italian that serve greasy salty food with Italian names.

Came for a wedding. All services from the ceremony, cocktail hour, to dinner, dancing, and the cake were all performed in once place; which is awesome.Staff was extremely friendly from the bar hosts to stable servers.Food was good- the salad dressing was amazing! Appetizers were non-stop flowing.Appetizers consisted of: shrimp cocktail, lamb chops, bacon wrapped scallops, and various fruits.Pesto pasta was lightly creamy.Bacon asparagus was cooked to a perfect crisp.NY steak was just ok. After dinner chocolate strawberries were served- very chocolaty. I have already recommended this venue to other ppl.Only complaint- I feel the alcohol was watered down for the open bar. I had several drinks, including champagne, with not even a light buzz.

My sister and I have been waiting to try the Osso Buco (only available on Thursday). Finally we did it today. This is our very first time to be at this restaurant. We were happy with the service and completely enjoyed the rich delicious meal in the air-conditioned dining room.PIASC has the best Osso Buco so far!!! It is so tasty and the meat is very soft. We saw the other table having their desserts but we were so full already. However, our next time will not just be food but also with desserts.

Use to be a member and frequent restaurant customer, however, they have a couple servers there that think they own the place and have a negative attitude and talk with total disrespect to myself and others.The manager refuses to intervene out of fear. She told me herself that she had been on the other side of the one female server and her attitude and knows exactly what I am talking about when it comes to the particular female server that I am referring too.In my humble opinion the food is at best average and not worth my time or money.Also I have been to 3 crab feeds there and once's the crab was spoiled and they tried serving it anyway and another time the crab was swimming in oil and offered no refund either time, however, there was one time that we were able to eat the crab. I use to purchase at least 6 plus tickets at each crab feed

Just had a delicious lunch at the club's restaurant. The gnocchi with pesto was so good! Everything was fresh. Last year one of our cousins had a beautiful event-- a celebration of his 80th birthday and his daughter's engagement announcement. The food there was amazing too and generous. It seems like they have a lot of experience with events. We look forward to going back again.

Went there on a Thursday for their osso buco Thursday special. It did not disappoint. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone. Wonderful friendly staff and great service.
