Patrona Tacos offers generous portions, but the flavors didn't quite hit the mark. The super burrito was packed with rice, which overwhelmed the other ingredients and made for a rather bland bite. The tacos were a better option in terms of size, but they were served with only one thin tortilla, making them difficult to handle without falling apart.Thankfully, the salsa was a saving grace, adding much-needed flavor and depth to the meal. While the portion sizes are solid, the overall taste could use some improvement to stand out among the many great taco spots in the area.

Was craving tacos and decided to search on DoorDash and found Patrona Tacos. The photos looked good, but I was skeptical about ordering from a food truck. I'd never done that before! But, I was swayed by the yummy looking food along with the very decent prices. We ordered 3 burritos, and 4 tacos. For the tacos, we got 4 al pastor and added cheese and crema. For the burritos, we got carnitas, steak, and another fried crispy beef but I forget the name. The food arrived very quickly, and everything was still hot/warm to the touch! The tacos were the absolute best part, the pineapples ont he al pastor were a good touch and everything was just SO DELICIOUS!The burritos also arrived hot, and had whole slices of avocado in them. It added a nice creaminess to an otherwise somewhat dry burrito. You'd have to add cheese and crema if you like it more creamy - but the outside was toasted which added good texture and the rice was seasoned so nicely. This might be our go-to taco place to order from!!!

Got 2 burritos very little amount of meat and rice was not cooked. The tortillas were undercooked and soggy. Waste of money for such an expensive burrito!!!

This is our de facto taco truck in SJ for easy access for the pastor tacos. The taco shells are fresh and definitely go for the green sauce. Normal wait is around 5-10 minutes, but they're not usually not too crazy busy. It's also open late! (11:30pm)Parking can be annoying if you can find street parking, there is a parking lot but it's a bit tight.

I don't go to taco trucks because I have been disappointed too many times. I pass by this one every day so when my bro was in town, I took him to check it out. They are friendly and make everything fresh and from scratch. Its rare to see a truck make tortillas fresh. I also think it is rare to see crispy tripas (tripe) as an option. That was so bomb! The lengua was my second fave. The salsas were spicy and delicious. It was $35 for 7 tacos & 2 drinks (bay area prices). They have everything from quesadillas, burritos, alambres, sopes, and more! Check it out!

Came here on a whim on a Sunday night and was extremely impressed with the price and the quality! I got asada, pollo and Al pastor tacos and they literally hit the spot. The pollo was probably my favorite it was juicyyyyy and seasoned to perfection I would get them again 100%. The asada was flavorful and had some nice charred pieces to give it layers of texture. The Al pastor was juicy as well the pineapple itself was insanely good. I would come here again 8/10

Found this taco truck on Monterey Rd by the Napa Auto Parts store. I ordered a burrito with al pastor meat, and it was so delicious. Crispy tortilla but still soft, rice and beans were fresh, and the pastor meat tasted very flavorful and was tender. Blew me away how good this food was from this spot. Definitely a sleeper, I'll be coming back.
