Located in the heart of downtown, this authentic hand pulled noodles shop is kicking out some tasty dishes. The shop is small and decorated with accolades and their story. The staff is fast and the food is served hot. Ordering is done by app at your table which is convenient. The star of the show is the hand pulled noodles. Made and prepared to perfection. You can definitely taste the difference in the quality. The soup, sauces and toppings were also house made and super flavorful. The popcorn chicken was ok, but I would skip it. The noodle dishes are over generous portions and will fill you up.

The hand pulled noodles are very thick, and very filling! Their classic braised beef soup is very good, but it's similar to what you can find at other restaurants. I wish they gave just a little more meat so that it would pair perfectly with the amount of noodles! You order online via a QR code, and the interior is nice and cozy. It's a smaller space, but warm and welcoming!

What happened to my favorite noodle place? Last night's dinner was utterly disappointing. I was excited to try the new mala spicy beef noodles, but they had absolutely no flavor--just red chili oil floating on a bland broth with tiny bits of beef. 1/5.Kiddo ordered my usual braised beef with pickles, which was slightly better at 3/5. The broth was fine, but the noodles were unusually al dente, making them too tough to enjoy. They probably needed a few more minutes of cooking. The brisket was also disappointing--just small scraps of beef, not the usual tender cubes. It wasn't even close to closing time, so if they ran out of proper cuts, they shouldn't have kept taking orders. The bowl looked sad and unappetizing.Hubby decided to try something new--the beef chow mein. He liked the noodles but found the beef tough and chewy, definitely not a good cut. 2/5Overall, a very disappointing dinner. Hopefully, this was just a fluke.

Quick, hot & delicious! I do love QR code table ordering. Fresh hand pulled noodles is the perfect start to any of their noodle dishes. The Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles dish has a tasty homemade broth. Spicy Ground Pork Dry noodles has just the right amount of kick and numbing flavor.

Whenever I come here, it's always packed. They have an iPad to join the waitlist, but the wait is usually around 30 to 40 minutes, and during rush hour, it can be over an hour. I waited about 45 minutes for some hand-pulled noodles. To order, they have a QR code system, which allows you to place your order instantly instead of asking a server to input it. I found this really convenient. You just scan the QR code, order, and they deliver your food when it's ready. This place is definitely great for hand-pulled noodles, especially with the spicy chili crisp on the side, it's always a perfect pairing.

Popular spot in San Mateo downtown! We came on a Saturday night and by 7:30 they closed down the waitlist for reaching capacity. We waited around 30 min for a table for 4.I thought the noodles were very well done and had great texture, but the flavor of the broth felt a bit lackluster for me.

If you're curious about traditional Chinese casual soup noodles, this is the place! I tried the spicy noodles and braised beef noodles, and they were just what I expected. If it's your first time, the food might feel a bit heavy since Chinese cuisine tends to use a lot of oil, so you might want to get some boba to balance it out. Luckily, there are plenty of boba places nearby!

Highly recommend the braised beef noodle soup with Chinese pickles! Portions are huge. I had the leftovers for lunch the next day. I got large flat noodles but next time I might try the small flat instead. Came on a Saturday night around 6:30pm and the wait was about 20 min. There's a waitlist you add yourself to and they will text you when your table is ready. The street is beautiful to walk around while you're waiting.

Great hand pulled noodles! There is a line - we got there around 7:30 and waited ~30 minutes. However service was fast!Portions are large - you can choose your noodle size (small / medium / large, and round vs flat). I got the beef noodle soup - the noodles were bouncy and the beef was tender!

Came here with a friend around 7:30 on a Saturday evening. We were seated pretty much right away, and food came out quicklyI ordered the lamb hand pulled noodle (non spicy was a plus!) Soup was pretty good, not too heavy not too salty. Lamb was pretty flavorful and noodles had a good texture - i got the small round but would prob get medium round next time for more chew. Gave comfort food vibes. Would come here again!
