Not bad as a quick snack at Valley Fair! I like how the onigiris are made to order, so it's not soggy when you get it. I ordered the Edamame Set with 2 Onigillys and chose the Snow Crab + Unagi (Braised Eel). I thought the Snow Crab was pretty dry, but the Unagi was good since the sauce helped flavor up the onigiri.

On the second floor of the Valley Fair Mall (Right next to Old Navy) is one of my favorite food kiosks. Quick and friendly service, ability to fully customize your items (although this is another place that has you ordering via a provided tablet, so a credit card will be required). I love this place! Their specialty is Onigiri, which, to me, is just a cute variant of one of my already favorites, Musubi (which I both assume are just regional variants on Sushi). Take a fun meat filling (or even a vegetarian option or two) of your choice (they have 6 or more including zany bits like spicy bacon or lemon shrimp to name just a couple), encase that in rice, and then hold it all together with a seaweed wrapping, and you have yourself a treat. As if just serving up these delicacies weren't enough, they do a number of other side items like tempura veggies, a couple of salad variants, fried chicken, and other fun Japanese side dishes. You can order these Onigiri individually or get a few as part of a combo meal with a few of those forementioned sides.

Had the chance and extra time to try this place as I was waiting for my glasses to be ready from Jin's. Super easy to order as you can explore the menu on their self serve kiosk. I got 3 onigiris of spam, teriyaki, and tofu. They'll text your phone once your order is ready. Took about 7-10 minutes for my order to be ready with a few people ahead of me. The food was fresh, delicious, and saucy. Would order from here again, very filling.

Literally was craving onigiri and came across this place so why not give it a try? This place is located in a kiosk close by Old Navy and Auntie Anne's. Ordering is pretty straight forward, choose what you want on a screen and they text you once your order is ready. It only took about 5-10 mins for my order to come out! Freshly made so not bad! Quick snack before you go shop! I got a regular tuna and snow crab to try and it was very underwhelming. I felt like it needed more seasoning, some salt or something even the rice tasted very bland. It was disappointing bc most reviews said that it was the best thing they've ever had but mine wasn't as great as I've expected it to be. I can only hope that it'll be better the next time I try it.

Decided to give this place a try on a whim with some friends and we were pleasantly surprised !! I was worried that the rice ratio would be overwhelming but it was perfectly balanced with the amount of filling. Super happy to see they had a variety of filling options from meat to poke to veggies. I would definitely come back. Can't really speak on service since it's a self order system but they were fairly quick with making the order so that's a plus.

Found myself at the mall on a weekday evening. Parking wasn't an issue and there weren't really any lines. This place is way more packed on weekends. Was trying to decide what to grab for dinner that might be light and healthy. Decided on Onigilly and grabbed a signature poke bowl. Ordering was pretty easy and the wait was pretty short.Pretty sizable portions for a reasonable price and the flavors were good!Loved the three scoops of poke and all the toppings! Got the salad and it was all very filling. Would absolutely return!

We loved Onigilly and always got it in SF, so were happy to get some while at the mall. The onigiri prices range from $4-5 each, and include many different fillings from chicken, pork, beef, seafood, and vegetarian. You can also order as a set of 2-4, or a 2-3 set with edamame or karaage. Note that some of the more premium fillings will cost $0.50-1 extra each when ordering as a set. The onigiri itself has a good ratio of rice to filing. Some of our favorites are the ginger beef, spicy shrimp, unagi, and spicy bacon. This time we got the bento set that came with karaage, 3 onirigi, edamame, and pickled radish. As a set, it's a pretty satisfying meal. Service was quick and ordering on the kiosk was easy.

Love that these are made super fresh. Hits the spot perfectly at a reasonable price point. Ordering is done via kiosk which allows for service to be faster making food. It can be pretty busy since it is located in Valley Fair mall. I got the ponzu ginger salmon poke and the unagi onigiris. Both 10/10 flavoring. However, I feel that the rice portioning was a little too much. The convenience and deliciousness of Onigilly definitely makes me want to revisit and try other things on the menu!

I appreciated the affordability, but the onigiri left much to be desired. The filling portion was disappointingly small, with most of it being just haiga rice. On a positive note, the service was quick, and the ordering process was smooth and efficient. However, the lack of seating near the kiosk was inconvenient--you'll need to walk to the food court or find chairs near other restaurants.

This is one of my favorite places to grab a quick snack and go whether I'm by myself or with other people. The employees here are so well organized and quick that it definitely beats waiting at the food court at the mall. You order yourself using the kiosk so the lines are pretty short. When it comes to the actual taste of food, this place never misses, with the amount of times that I've been there. I've always been really happy with how consistent their flavors are. There has not been a time where I ordered something that is my usual and it tastes a little off or different. It is pretty consistent. There's no place to sit and eat for here. It is a place that is more of a grab and go so it can get very loud being between a bunch of stores. While I do have my usual trio that I get for myself and my significant other, I have tried other items on their menu and I have to say this place has yet to miss, flavor wise. If you see this place, you should definitely give it a try.
