O' Sushi is located right off the freeway on the street view of a semi-busy plaza. Parking is hit or miss here because it gets pretty busy here on weeknights and weekends (especially with MandRo next door), but if you park further away in the main area of the plaza, then there is plenty of parking on that side. Service is so poor here, as they do not acknowledge / welcome you at all - you could be standing by the front for a good 5 minutes and all the employees will just breeze past you like you are not there.My last few visits here, I ordered to go and I would call ahead of time, as they take pretty long here (they always say 10 - 15 minutes, but it is always 25+ minutes, even when they are not busy). I usually order their Kani Nigiri, Sake Maki, and Salmon Nigiri. Their sushi is usually decently fresh, but lately, their salmon has not been that fresh and I would get a stomachache after. Their Kani Nigiri has changed, it is not the crab mix anymore, but it is the crab sticks, which I do not prefer, as it tasted a bit sour.

This is my 2nd time here. the first time I got the sashimi boat and it was okay. I think it's more worth to get the rolls because they are good! This time around, we ordered the #1 roll, rock n' roll, & smile lemon. The rock n' roll was my favorite!! #1 roll was good as well. Smile Lemon was fine - I think the white sauce they use is a bit different. They also have complimentary green tea ice cream for dessert as well.Service was fine & parking lot is a bit small. This restaurant is growing on me. The balsamic sauce on My God Roll made it unique and I really loved it.Volcanic Scallop is good and had plenty of baby scallops.Kaki Fry was crunchy, although I think they could lessen the batter.They also added a sweet touch at the end of our meal... a free scoop of green tea ice cream.

O' Sushi's menu has a really large selection of appetizers, sushi, sashimi, and other items like entrees, soups, etc. You could go family style, or eat your own bowls! My group of 4 decided to do family style and shared a good amount of dishes. Some of what we ordered: - Short Ribs: very flavorful and tender. It also came with rice and salad, which helped balance out all the flavors going on with the meat. - #1 Roll: Pretty good, and filling! Most of our table was reaching out to eat this one more than the other rolls hehe. The house special sauce reminded me of a sauce very similar to gochujang! - Toro: So fatty!!! (In a good way). The sashimi pieces were THICK and so good! Definitely worth the price. - Green Tea Ice Cream: Perfect to end the meal with a complimentary ice cream!!

Overall, a solid option for sushi in the area! They have a wide variety of sushi rolls, but I was surprised there's also many other options like Beef Teriyaki, Katsu Chicken, and Potstickers. I recommend ordering from their "specials" menu! From toro to red snapper, they had a lot of fresh fish.My table ordered many items to share. My favorite was the Number 1 Roll, which had a gochujang drizzle on top. This roll was really unique to me, and I enjoyed the combination. The Spider Roll was really filling and I liked that it was packed with lettuce! Never seen this before and it made the roll more refreshing in a way.A friend of mine ordered the Galbi Ribs, and these are not bad! A pretty big portion and they came out hot on a skillet. The ribs are pretty fatty, but it comes with salad, miso soup, and rice to balance it out.

Came here on Valentine's Day to grab a quick dinner. This is in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. We wanted to do take out, but we kept calling for over 20 mins and we couldn't get through so we decided to just go in. It was crazy busy for take out orders and they were running over 20-30 mins behind. We were seated right away, but our appetizer did take over 45 mins to be served and our rolls took over an hour. The servers were nice and I was trying to be understanding that they were running behind and already had some really rude customers that had screamed at them. Chicken Karaage - 5/5 - the chicken was good and crispy when it came out and I really enjoyed the dipping sauce.Philadelphia Roll - 4/5 - the portions were pretty big considered to other placesCalifornia Deluxe Roll - 4/5 - pretty basic #1 Roll - 4/5 - it had a lot of flavor and tasted really fresh.

My friends and I have not seen each other in over a year and i wanted to find a good place for us.Overall, the fish was not fresh. We got the boat, tempura udon, and a roll. The boat was probably one of the worst things I ever had in a Japanese restaurant. It also did not make sense that we were a table of four and got3 salads and 2 miso soups? I also saw all the tables next to me get a complimentary edamame. It's okay we didn't, but if everyone around us is getting one that is making me feel some type of way. I also felt the service was below average. The staff did not look happy. It felt like work was a nuisance. After lunch, my friends had expressed the same vibe I was feeling. I don't recommend and would not come back.

Ordered O' Sushi tonight and I have to say what a disappointment. The edamame was without salt and flavor. The deep fried Philly and Kamikaze had absolutely zero flavor. This was a bummer because we've ordered from here and eaten in the restaurant before without complaints. Harumi Sushi is still the #1 choice for us in Newark.
