Outstanding, from the moment we walked in and greeted with a friendly smile. To the service of our waiter "Patrick" and the the bus service. Everything was delicious. started dinner with an appetizer, Buratta on toasted bread with chopped tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and basil. Some olives. The warm bread and butter was also tasty. I got the half bottle of château Saint Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon. Definitely worth it. Standard spaghetti and ravioli with meat sauce. Added two meatballs. The wife had her standard order of seafood linguine. Both outstanding. Cute cozy and comfortable restaurant. Water and bread was always refilled. Staff was always smiling. We will be back soon

Best date night spot! Such cozy vibes - perfect to share a bottle of Chianti and eat (multiple) loaves of fresh sourdough. The pasta dishes are incredible and the mixed green salad with house made italian dressing is a must! Can't wait to come back here with my fiance for decades!

Came here for dinner on Saturday night with my husband to enjoy our night off. Everything started off perfect... food, service, ambience...Then our waiter, Leo, addressed us at one point as "lads", which completely misgendered me and made me feel so awkward and confused...I just wanted to leave ASAP after that.

Italian in San Francisco, O Sole Mio is your spot!Located south of the city in the Millbrae area, O' Sole Mio is a small intimate Italian diner with fresh flavors. Surrounded by a multitude of Asian establishments, O' Sole Mio offers down home Italian meals and an ambiance that very relaxed. While visiting for in the area on a work-trip, my team did dinner. Our server was amazing recommending favorites, breaking down the menu and welcoming us. In a mood for a lighter fair I went with the Linguini Shrimp & Salmon. The dish itself was filling, however flavors were a little bland. A table appetizer of garlic bread was ordered, the freshness was off the charts!

Shout out to Patrick's service, and the general staff's effort to accommodate our party of 5 without reservation on a Friday night. Gives the old school restaurant vibes and it's been here for awhile. Food was good (not amazing but good), menu not overwhelming with a million options, pizza for kids, pasta and entrees, easy. Had the lasagna and per Patrick's assurance, it was good. They were able to accommodate a vodka penne for my sister. Fun with the jukebox. The food is really 3 stars but friendly service and quick accommodations give it that extra star. Would come back!

It seemed quite busy for a Wednesday night since it took them 5 minutes before acknowledging us at the door. The first staff finally came to ask us if we were dining in. So we said we were helped when another asked us again. However the first staff never came back. Finally a third staff seated us. When asking the third staff if the spaghetti was enough to share, he couldn't answer us and asked a fourth staff to come help us. The fourth staff bluntly said "no", when I asked if the portion was enough for two. (It was). The service and attitude felt blunt. We started with complimentary bread and it was toasted and warm with side of butter. We ordered the fried calamari and it was good, enough to share between 2 or 3 people. The spaghetti with mushroom sauce was okay and enough to share between 2 people if you order other items. However we had to pay extra to add meatballs. The O' Sole Mio pizza crust was thick and the bottom not very crispy. I don't think they are known for pizza. They did pack the leftovers for us, something I don't see often at restaurants, so a positive note on that. Overall I've passed by this place many times over the years and finally tried it. If I were to come back I would give other items a try and the ones we did a pass.

My favorite place to have dinner with Dad when I visit him in Millbrae. I love everything about the experience from start to finish, from the time we are seated, served a basket of bread, and order a glass of red wine, until Dad finishes with a bowl of vanilla ice cream, and I with a cup of decaf. The food is hearty and delicious, the service is friendly and prompt, and the ambience is so very old school San Francisco, with juke boxes on some of the tables and Tony Bennett singing I Left My Heart in San Francisco at least once per visit.

Came here for a birthday celebration. It was a lovely restaurant with old school juke boxes on the walls, gingham tablecloths, and vine decor everywhere. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food depended on what you ordered. The lasagna was some of the best I have ever had, as was the tiramisu which was very light and airy and delectable. The fettuccine Alfredo was pretty basic and a little boring but the chicken was fantastic and flavorful. It was a really fun restaurant and proved plenty of space and time for our group! Very friendly restaurant with good food.

We came here specifically for its proximity to SFO for our late arrivals, it could accommodate our group of 10 and there was something for everyone on the menu, including kids. Our server was so friendly and helpful, especially with recommendations. Our party ordered fried calamari, NY steak, veal cutlet, zuppa di mare, fettucini dishes, ravioli and assorted desserts to fill our empty bellys. Everything was delicious from start to finish. The decor was very old school Italian--reminded me a lot of restaurants in North Beach--the gingham tablecloths (albeit vinyl), the old school framed photos and even the tabletop juke box. It had a great vibe. This is a wonderful family restaurant and I definitely return.

Cozy Italian restaurant and friendly staff. Unfortunately some of the items ordered were bland and a bit dry.Appetizers: calamari and bruschetta. Calamari was a bit fishy but it was not bad. The bruschetta however had to be my favorite out of everything we ordered. Very flavorful and just the right amount of tomatoes. Entrees:Lasagna: staff mentioned this was one of the best items on the menu. It did not disappoint.Chicken parm: it was bland, could use more seasoning.NY Steak: it was good but a bit too charred on the outside.Penne with sausage and peppers: tomato sauce was bland. Could also use more spices.Pizzas: we ordered a custom pie with mushroom and sun dried tomatoes. It was very disappointing and bland. No sauce and very little toppings. We also ordered a large pie: half Hawaiian and half margherita pizza: again very little toppings and also very bland. Would be nice if they made it saucier.Dessert: the limoncello cake sounded good so we got that complimentary as part of the Yelp check-in. It was not bad.
