If you're craving the best birria in San Jose, look no further than Neza Birria. This hidden gem truly delivers on flavor, portions, and convenience.First off, the birria tacos ($4.50 each) are mouthwatering--packed with tender, juicy meat and just the right amount of seasoning. Pair them with the rich, savory consomé (sold separately for $3), and you're in for a treat. But what really got my taste buds excited, was the $15 birria ramen! It's an unexpected twist, blending perfectly spiced birria with a comforting bowl of noodles. It's expensive but I would recommend trying at least once if you're a frequent Customer like I am! It does make you thirsty so have that cold drink ready! Speaking of drinks, for $5, their horchata was totally worth it! Very rich, creamy, and refreshing. They don't skimp here, the pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.Plenty of tables with seats available. I do recommend parking on the street and walking into the parking lot where their food truck is parked. I like that they stay open unti 11pm, making it the perfect post-event food spot. Despite the crowd, the wait time for food is surprisingly decent.I have not tried anything else other than what I mentioned, but I'm sure everything else is just as amazing. You won't even need to check any other food truck after you've come to Neza! I haven't ! Lastly, CASH ONLY, so I would recommend bringing cash or if you have Zelle, they do accept that as a form of payment.

I was there on a Saturday around 1pm. I ordered a Mulita de Birria and a small serving of Menudo with an Agua de Mango.Menudo - 4/5The consomé was rich and flavorful, but my serving had a lot of tendon, which isn't my favorite. If you enjoy that, you might rate it higher!Mulita de Birria - 5/5Absolutely perfect. Think of it like a next-level quesadilla with two crispy tortillas, gooey cheese, and incredibly tender, flavorful birria. Every bite was on point!Agua de Mango - 1/5Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me. I'm not sure if it was freshly made or from a concentrate, but it had an overpowering, perfume-like taste that I couldn't get past.Ambience - 1/5They had the TV on full blast, playing a donation program for children with cleft lip. While I fully support helping children in need, the repetitive, somber nature of the program really brought down the vibe--especially since it played for nearly the entire hour I was there.Overall, I'd definitely come back for the birria--just maybe with a different drink choice and as a to-go order next time!

A great find if you're a fan of Birria. They are a truck located in a very small parking lot. They have room for maybe 6 cars. There have hand washing stations and a portable bathroom. Cash only or they take Zelle. Good amount of outside seating. I was disappointed that consome doesn't come with the quesabirria and you have to pay extra $3 for it. The orange sauce is spicy but lacks some salt. I thought the birria meat also lacked some flavor although the meat was very tender. I liked that the quesabirria wasn't super oily or greasy like other places. Their house made tortillas are really good and also the tripas were super crispy and tasty. Overall a solid place, the location is just super cramped and not the best area. What we ordered:Tripas tacos Quesabirria tacos Loaded fries Horchata

Came here to try the crazy birria pizza. It ended up being a bit expensive around $40. But to be fair it is a whole lot of food. The meat and cheese were really tasty but the whole meal became super heavy and hard to eat. Best to split with a lot of friends and maybe order some other items to go with. I found it difficult to only eat the birria pizza with one other perso

This birria pizza was insane. For $29, the pizza came out humongous, with each slice bursting at the seams with gooey cheese and juicy shredded meat. The consumé broth was really flavorful but my favorite part was the massive fried tortilla that was crispy and so flavorful. This is really an addictive meal. Neza Birrieria is located in the back of a small parking lot. There's a tent area to eat but keep in mind it's very hot and humid there--we ended up bringing ours to the nearby Emma Prusch park to enjoy! There's limited street parking going into the lot. It's also cash only but they take zelle with a $1 surcharge! I'm wouldn't order this pizza again due to its sheer size, but I'll be back to try their other birria menu items!

The best Brirria i've ever had in an unassuming food truck in San Jose. They only take cash or zelle so be prepared.I cannot stress how much better this is than any brirria i've had outside of california in Florida. The QuesaBrirria Tacos are absolutely delicious. They're crispy on the outside, cheese pull apart and melted, the beef is insanely tender, and the cilantro and onions are fresh as can be. For $4.50 each, these are absolutely delicious and I'd eat 6 at a time if I could. I 100% recommend this place if you at all like quesabrirria, at least give it a chance and see. I fell in love with this place and it has been my go to cheat restaurant since moving to san jose.

Tbh this became my new favorite quesabirria spot in the bay! I looove when the quesabirria is crispy on the exterior, and this place absolutely nailed it.They're a food truck located in a small parking lot- so there's a bit of parking but we opted to park on the street since it was more convenient. Each quesabirria is $4.50 I believe, with consume being $3. We took our meal for takeout but they have a cute outdoor patio with plenty of seating and lots of TVs around the area. The meat on the quesabirria was suuuuper soft and tender. It had just the right amount of cheese, and the consume was also super rich and flavorful!Be prepared to pay in cash!

Came here pretty late on a Sunday because I was craving birria. I hadn't been here before and decided on the quesabirria tacos, they were crispy, juicy and extremely flavorful! The cheese pull on them is amazing. They honestly hit the spot... 8/10 would come here again no doubt.
