Just discovered this place by chance and so happy to have found it! It's a relatively new place, a ghost kitchen. The owners are very sweet, we met them when they came out with the food. And now to the food: I got the donne biryani because I have been looking for this dish in the Bay Area and in SoCal fora year to no avail. The biryani was excellent! Very flavorful and yet not heavy. Made with seeraga samba rice which is even fancier and more expensive than basmati.The best thing about the food is that it tasted like home food: delicious and my tummy feels happy afterwards. The price was very reasonable especially for this area and the portions were extremely generous; the boxes were packed full of goodness as you can see in the photo. I plan to support this kitchen as much as I can because this is the type of Indian food we need in the area: dishes you can't otherwise find in the US made with love.

They operate in a cloud kitchen on Evelyn and are pretty efficient - my order was ready in 5 minutes as I was parked outside on the way back home from work.I tried their pepper chicken. I'm used to eating Tamilnadu style pepper chicken, and this (Karnataka style) was similar, but I would have liked it to be more on the spicier side, I felt it was a tad mild. I should have probably told them to make it spicy! I think it could've been a little less oily too - but again, it adds flavor. I'll definitely be back to try their other dishes - especially their Biryani!

I recently tried a new cloud kitchen that a friend recommended, and as a biryani enthusiast, I was thrilled to find out they specialize in Bangalore/Karnataka-style food. We ordered the chicken donne biryani, pepper chicken, and avarekai biryani. Unfortunately, they were out of the mutton donne biryani, which I was really looking forward to.The chicken biryani brought back memories of Bangalore with its authentic taste. The pepper chicken was also quite flavorful, with fresh ingredients that made it taste like homemade food. I would definitely recommend this place and hope they maintain the quality of their food. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes from their menu soon. I will update my review when I try new dishes.

Exceptional dishes from Karnataka! Celebrated Sankranti with some traditional festival food and I must say I was blown away by the flavors and the quality. The portions were also very reasonable (Suggi Oota are you listening?). The Obattu and Obattu saaru was bang on. I did feel the mosaru Anna could have been a tad bit better (more vagrane with a healthy serving of menasinakayi?) but now I am nit picking. Also I must say sweet pongal was good but it didn't feel like it was made with Jaggery (House of Tiffin got it right but unfortunately they use millet) which was a little bit of a bummer and the pongal was not the traditional habbada gatti pongal with avarakayi and gatti chutney but it did taste great and the quality was good.

We were craving for some good home style cooked food after getting bored with restaurant style food. Decided to try this new place and were really impressed and happy with the meal. The biryani was star and the quantity was a lot for a couple, loved the wada, bisebilebath and puran poli. All the dishes we decided to order were good, will be reordering soon.

We ordered a full tray of Avarekaal Biryani and a half tray of pakoda for a Sunday evening event at home, and everything went perfectly. The food was ready on time, the portions were generous, and we were able to serve it piping hot. As for the taste--it was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the event thoroughly enjoyed both the biryani and the pakoda. I'm confident that many of my friends will be placing their own orders after this experience.
