Service was nice and simple. Ambiance was clean, well lit and organized. I like how it's off the beaten path. The kimchi in their banchan was authentic and elegant. It had a depth of flavor with multiple layers. We enjoyed their seafood and green onion pancake and sirloin stone pot. All very delicious. I wish there was a vinegar sauce with the pancake which would have cut the oiliness of the pancake. Definitely going back to try some homemade tofu and meat dishes.

The food was very good. My soy marinated sirloin stone pot was really tasty. It came out piping hot. I had to wait 10 minutes for it to cool down. The Tofu Soup from the Galbi combo was also piping hot. Felt like almost 15 minutes before I could eat it. My wife loved the Galbi, but the 6 pieces in the combo weren't enough, especially for $40. I hear the dinner portion comes with 12 pieces and is also $40. Maybe next time we just order the dinner portion and nix the tofu soup. The banchan plate was very generous. Each side dish tasted fresh, especially the kimchi. The service was very good. It wasn't crowded so we were seated right away. They were quick to take our order and the food came out in 15 minutes. The place looked really clean. I hear it was recently remodeled. Bathrooms looked a little dated, but also clean. The men's room had no paper towels, only the hand dryer blower. Very good food, clean and good service. It's a little pricey if you like Galbi however. All in all, I'd come back to try a few other dishes.

This is a great local spot for quick dinner or lunch. There was no wait on a Tuesday evening. They are generous with the banchan. The seafood pancake was really crispy. Combo tofu soup was nice on point and the bibimbap was filling.Dining area was modern, bright and cheerfully lit.

*Clean, spacious, comfortable ambiance*Side dishes + food is consistently wonderful *Service is always pretty quick as well, even when they are busy*Complimentary rice punch drink after dinnerI've eaten at Mom's Tofu numerous times and each time I've been very happy with the fast service and quality food. I like the hamburger steak, but my favorite is their beef stew with rice and their tofu soup, especially the ham + cheese which I've ordered the most. Mom's Tofu is definitely my go-to restaurant for tofu soup besides Tofu Plus in Cupertino.

Mom's Tofu in SSF is perfect for a rainy day lunch or dinner. They're located on the lower level (below street level) of the red-brick building, so they can be easily missed from the outside. We've eaten here plenty of times in the past when they used to give out paper plates. So revisiting last month, I'm happy to see they're now using "real" plates and bowls. Our favorites are: - Seafood and green onion pancake: Fair amount of seafood (squid, shrimp) and we enjoy how crispy the pancake is! I can't tell you how many times I hate it when it gets soggy/undercooked in the middle at other places.- Soy marinated sirloin stone pot: You can't go wrong with bibimbap. It's a nice mix of fresh vegetables and marinated meat, and I love the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot.- Galbi: Meaty, tender, and flavorful. Classic dish that's always overpriced. I find Mom's tofu soup just ok. It's a bit watered down, but nevertheless still warming to eat on a cold day. Service is fine. They're nice, but I feel like I need to always flag them down when we're ready to order or ready for the check, despite the restaurant being nearly empty with three other parties or fewer.

Comparing the pricing to the portion size it wasn't worth it. $20 for fried chicken 8 pieces and $23 for spicy yang nyum chicken 7 pieces. I rather go eat Von's chicken. The flavor for both chicken wings was very basic.

Good spice level on the tofu soup. Enjoyed the roasted corn tea. Kimchi is always very fresh. Chicken was a little sweet but galbi was just right. Nearby dead eye coffee. Always seated promptly and treated with great hospitality.

Food: 4.5 out of 5Wow! Amazing flavors and quality products you can taste. The tofu soup came as part of the combination platter. It was silky and had a depth of flavor, which was spectacular. I had mine as spicy while my friend had it medium; we were both satisfied with the spice level of our soup. The pork bulgogi came out on a sizzling platter with purple rice -- delicious!Service: 2 out of 5Nice server but my friend and I really did not appreciate the bill being handed to us before we were ready for it. We had to reiterate we were taking our time and still talking. Environment: 3 out 5Small restaurant on the first floor of the building. The building itself houses other businesses.Overall: 4.5 out of 5Amazing food! Hands down quality you can taste!

I had an awesome dining experience at Mom's Tofu! We ordered the kimchi pancake, which was delicious and definitely something I'll be craving again. The chicken wings were crispy and tasty. The marinated chicken stone pot was good, though it could have had a bit more chicken for the price. One thing to note: the rice at the bottom of the bowl tends to burn, but that might be because I didn't mix it fast enough.Parking can be a bit of a challenge if you want to be close, as it's mostly street parking. There are also parking lots and a structure nearby as other options.

I came here on a weekday and there was no wait for lunch. The restaurant is spacious and we were seated right away. The Banchan/sides came right away and I love the fish cake, greens and the kimchi. Everything was very flavorful and a good starter. I ordered the pork tofu soup mild and it I should have gotten it spicier because there was not too much flavor. My boyfriend got the medium beef tofu soup and liked it. The seafood pancake was very crispy and the dipping sauce made it delicious.
