Finally made it back to Miller & Lux to give it another try and I am glad to say it was as good, if not better than our first visit. The service was impeccable on our visit. Everyone in the restaurant, it seemed, was attentive, friendly and engaging. Our servers were on spot and the wine sommelier was on point. We had a glass of champagne to start the evening since we celebrating a birthday and her recommendation was fantastic. While we did bring our own bottle of wine, she decanted it for us and was very excited to talk about the wine. She also comped us an after dinner wine (again because we were celebrating. The food was amazing, as we expected. The menu was changed a bit since our last visit and so I went from my "go to" filet, to the Steak Diane. Hubby did have the filet and raved about the taste. We also had the table side prep Caesar salad, creamed kale and a mountain of french fries. All in all, it was a great time, great food, great service. They won us back!

We arrived a few minutes after our 9pm reservation and the door was locked. We were bummed thinking it was closed and we're trying to figure out where to go next when the hostess opened it and apologized.Im so glad we were able to dine here it ended up being very special.Kristen was helping us and was phenomenal. We were there celebrating our anniversary and she was so warm and helpful. Our time out is really special since we rarely get to be alone . We have 3 kids and one of them who's disabled so to say we look forward to relaxing and enjoying a meal is a understatement. I'm so glad we picked this spot. From start to finish Kristen explained every menu item in the most appealing way. We settled on the apple margarita (which I wasn't sure about) was good and light. Old fashion which my husband say was so smooth and delicious. We got the deviled eggs. I loved them my husband is not a fan of any hard boiled eggs so he wasn't a fan but of course no fault of these eggs. They had a soft touch of truffle which I like. I got the lobster risotto and it was the best I've ever had. Seriously I'll be dreaming of it. My husband got the wagu tomahawk and it was cooked to perfection and really a huge beautiful piece of meat. Plenty big enough to share. The chef / owner came out and greeted us which was a nice surprise. But really everyone in the whole restaurant really helped to make our night so special and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. When we make our way back to San Francisco from Palm Springs we will definitely make another stop here.Thank you again

Miller & Lux is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had recently! I stopped by to sit at the bar for a quick meal and tried their hamburger with martini combo ($40!), along with a shrimp cocktail, and both dishes were great. The hamburger was juicy, perfectly cooked medium rare, and came with hosue made bacon jam and a thick slice of Mt Tam cheese (if you know, you know). The beef was high-quality, and the brioche bun was soft but held up really well. Every bite was packed with flavor--it felt high end but still had that comforting, classic burger vibe. Definitely a must-try if you're a burger lover. Now, onto the shrimp cocktail--it was a showstopper! The shrimp were giant, fresh, and chilled to perfection. The cocktail sauce had just the right balance of tangy and spicy, giving the dish a great kick without overpowering the natural flavor of the shrimp. One recommendation would be to lose the fancy greens on top and add more cocktail sauce. Being honest, Miller and Lux is not the cheapest place in town by far, but honestly, it's worth every penny. You're paying for quality ingredients, great service, and an overall dining experience that's hard to beat. Also a special shout out to Joe for over the top service and a great tour of the restaurant! Overall, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance made it perfect for a laid-back meal with a touch of elegance. Highly recommend Miller & Lux for anyone looking for delicious food in a sophisticated yet approachable setting!

I've been having trouble finding good steakhouses in the bay area and Miller & Lux has solved that problem. Came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday with a large party and they were able to accomodate us. I appreciate how helpful the staff was and that we were all able to be at one table. The art deco decor and dark ambiance feels really luxe and timeless. The truffle fries were so crispy and addictive. For my main, I had the steak, lobster, potato puree and caesar salad. The caesar was prepared tableside and for being labelled "for two" it's a sizeable portion. The potato puree was very filling as well. The steak was so succulent that it didn't even feel like beef. I cannot remember the lobster. Overall amazing experience and I cannot wait to come back soon!

I've been wanting to eat here at Miller and Lux since it's opening. On my birthday, I decided to book my party of 11. The host who handles the reservations was very kind and made booking so easy. We ended up having the semi private room (another party didnt come until later). The staff was so nice and attentive. The food didn't come out so soon but drinks were pouring and we had appetizers so I didnt really notice. And when the food did come it was so so good. After our meal they let us go down the elevator because they saw I was struggling in my dress. 10/10 will come back!

Came here for my friends birthday party and was definitely blown away by how rich and fabulous the restaurant looked. We ordered truffle fries for the table and it was delicious. The Ceasar salad was delicious and made table side and ready to serve. I ordered the risotto as my main and split it with s/o and they ordered the burger and we split that as well. The burger which is suppose to be super popular was lacking flavor and was truly a disappointment. The service was impeccable and definitely was patient with our rowdy group. Overall our visit was great and will definitely come back again.

Stopped by this restaurant before we went to a concert at the Chase Center, and we had an amazing experience. When you walk inside, it has an old-school steakhouse charm. Everyone is very attentive, and the service is exceptional. We started with one of their signature cocktails & salad. We were also served complimentary popovers. The popovers were soft and delicious and paired nicely with their butter. For the main course we ordered the M&L burgers. The burgers were amazing. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the onion rings and bacon jam that came with the burger added to the exceptional flavor. The burgers were served with delicious truffle fries and we substituted one order of truffle fries for the black truffle Mac and cheese. The fries and mac and cheese were delicious and added to the experience. I can't wait to come back again!

Came here after a Warriors game with family and thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Our family was quite large so we got our own private room, and the ambiance was so lovely. The music isn't too loud, sound travels to and from so it did feel very lux while still maintaining a sense of comfort; if that makes sense. Miller and Lux did a great job creating a comfortable yet high-end experience. We decided on ordering food family style, so that everyone could try bits and pieces of everything! We started off with some appetizers:- steak tartare: 10/10, so fresh and the flavors were impeccable! Everyone's favorite of the night- truffle deviled eggs: 7/10, the truffle was overpowering and was the only flavor coming through - wagyu donut: 7/10, the wagyu was delicious but the truffle donut had an interesting flavor that our palettes weren't quite used to- miller & lux Caesar: 10/10, made in front of you so you can see what goes into it -- absolutely delicious! So fresh and perfectly made by our server Onto the mains and sides: - Wagyu tomahawk: 10/10, medium rare was perfect and paired nicely with their bordelaise - Yukon puree: 12/10, delicious and sooooo good with the gravy on the side. One of my favorites here! Desserts:- cookies: 10/10, soooo yum. Warmed and chewy - my absolute favorite type of cookie. They're about the size of a dollar coin which was funny, but the perfect size after such a filling meal - bananas fosters: 12/10, we got to watch our server make us our bananas fosters. You watch the bananas caramelize, the aroma of the sugars fill the air and really remind you of Christmas. He did a great job and kept us so entertained and joyful all night. Onto the dessert itself, so delicious. The bananas paired wonderfully with the ice cream and hidden cake at the bottom. We had ordered 2, and it was definitely enough to be split between 10 people. We are definitely returning, Miller & Lux is now a family favorite, with a lovely view of the bay.

Came here with a friend for our joint birthday celebrations. What a lovely restaurant and wonderful surprise. The restaurant is situated at chase center. Very polished yet understated exterior. Walked into the bar and some seating areas. We were greeted instantly and were led to upper level through stairs to their main dining floor. Their decoration was polished with soft lighting and a touch of vintage. Seating booths were comfortable and intimate. They provided champagne cart for tasting. We tried some options and went with a bottle of champagne. Our waiter really took care of us with good suggestions. He showed us where the oysters are. Super fresh and the oysters and I had a good conversation. We ordered a full size of oysters to start. They are super fresh and well prepared. They came in medium to small size and 12 pieces for 2 people is just right. We also ordered Caesar salad for two. It was prepared on cart near table side. I love that all ingredients were prepared fresh. It was also nice to see small pots of remain lettuce being prepared into our salads. Love the touch of anchovy. Yum!We ordered tomahawk ribeye with side of fries. We also ordered a glass of cabernet sauvignon to compliment the steaks. I have to say that they got wonderful selection of wines here. We found a nice glass of wine that got full body of flavors yet affordable! While waiting for our steak, I saw chef Tyler at another table preparing dishes!! I was speechless! Chef Tyler dropped by after and greeted each table. It was amazing to see such a great chef still so on top of their establishments and taking care of their guests! Our steak arrived beautifully! The flavors were on point and the texture was just right. We ordered fries on the side. Excellent execution! The chef brought us a side of creamed kales and it was delicious! Appreciate the details of the fried onions that brought in another layer of texture. We ended the dinner with banana flambé. It was again prepared at table side. The fire was so fun to enjoy! It was just delicious! What a surprise!!!! For birthday girls, we each had a table size sparklers! As a birthday treat, we each had a complimentary chocolate cookie bites and a signed copy of their menu. Wow! It was so thoughtful! Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, efficient, and caring. No details were forgotten. Chef really put in a lot of efforts designing the dining experience for their guests. The interactive experience and the quality of food, drinks, service and all decoration were spot on!!! We would love to come back again!

So, we've been here many times, I'm giving 3 stars this time due to inconsistency of food and service . Our food took forever, about an hour. We got to the restaurant right when they open. 3:30. Not sure what happened, my filet mignon was over done. A $70 filet mignon was not worth the price. I didn't want to sent it back because I just want to eat my food and get out of there. I was comparing our service between Morton's and M&L, with my husband, the old school still have it. I love this place but lately, the food was a so so. The burger is a bit done, not juicy, ughh. If you're spending $300 (a couple) for dinner at least you get good juicy steak and Burger. However, the waitress did good and her food runner. Maybe it's one of those night. When Tyler is not around, the service go down.
