I asked for a Rasmalai and it was too bad when I opened. I would not recommend this shop for sweets.

Delicious and fresh sweets. Guests always ask where did I get the sweets from. Store inside may use an upgrade but always a great, to go option.

My review is only about the live pani puri. It was quite bad, the 4 pani are just sitting out in the sun in a water bath. They were pretty warm and don't taste good. On top of that, the server used a spoon to mix the batter before serving that was kept in the dirty water bath. The Alu in the pani puri was okay but the water tasted really unpleasant. I love pani puri and this was such a terrible experience. This one star is only for the alu and the server who was polite and kind.

TLDR: Good food, nice ambience and self serviceThis place came highly recommended by friends as a must try for Gujrati food and snacks.Tried their Khandvi, undhiyu and veg kebab sizzler.Khandvi was really cold - almost like just taken out from a freezerThe veg kebab was good but the sizzler overall had only taste of tomato ketchup Undhiyu was really good though

Food was alright. We ordered Akbari Paneer - which we enjoyed. It wasnt extraordinary or something that we can find only at this place. Pretty common, available at any indian restaurant, but tasty. The place is famous for Indian Sizzlers - we tried Samosa sizzler. If someone is nostalgic about Indian Sizzler , this is a good place. But otherwise it was about alright ( as per taste) . The size and looks were great! However the favourite food was Jalebi Rabri- definitely one of the best I have had ! Service - it's a self service place Ambiance - about alright. Nothing fancy or fine dine. Normal chair tables. Not run done either

As a non-indian i thought this place was pretty decent--3.5 stars. Make of that what you will lol.My bf was adamant about trying this place after listening to their interview with NPR where they talked about their sizzling plates. We went when it was heavily raining, but surprisingly it was busy/crowded inside despite the current terrible ratings. Hmmm.We had: paneer sizzling plate (3/5): The portion at the top where a lot of the ingredients were was good, but as I got closer to the food closer to the sizzling plate, the sweetness of the sauces became too sweet for me. My bf liked it, however.milan samosa (4/5): very good and piping hot. I liked the dipping sauce it came with.Panipuri (3.5/4): the taste was there, but i think serving it in a metal plate makes it colder than it needs/should be so it detracts from the taste. Regardless, I liked it especially by spooning some tikka chaat into the shell with the other ingredients.Tikki chaat (4/5): it was good and had a nice flavor. Good flavor and thick. They take card and service is typical self-serve where you bus your own tables. Most people seemed to come in for the savory food and not the sweets when I was there. One gripe i had was that they needed better ventilation since the sizzling plates created lots of smoke so it became very smokey inside. A lot of people ordered sizzling plates to go--gotta try what they were trying next time.

Like previous reviewer mentioned, despite so many bad reviews, it's popular than ever.Always crowded if you go in the lunch and weekends dinner time.Pros: -. Know for sizzlers (so if you are visiting first time, must try)-. Tons of Jain/swaminarayan (no onion/no garlic) options-. Friendly staff-. Few places that make their own namkeen/farsan/snacks so you will have fresh option-. Catering optionsCons:It can be crowded during weekends ParkingAmbiance: more like a fast food joint type of set up compare to service restaurant.

DO NOT GO HERE I ordered a half size paneer sizzler and gave the cashier 20$. Not only did the cashier give incorrect change, he claimed I gave him 10$, not 20. Whole place smells like day old frier oil and the food itself is just reheated frozen food. Total scam, I would give it 0 stars if I could

We have ordered cutlet, potato bonda from Milan. Food was excellent. No complaints. Sweets were good and tasty. We wanted to order food from Milan for a Diwali party. I called them over phone 2 to 3 weeks before Diwali and they always put you on HOLD and not responsive. I wanted to stop by and find out their party order pricing / tray sizes and went to their place on a Saturday noon. One of the lady rep asked us to wait for 10 minutes. We ordered chai to kill the wait time. Finally the lady came after 20 minutes and was not able to give a clear pricing for the party menu.I went ahead and ordered food from a different restaurant whose food was equally good and they had a better pricing. There is a mushrooming number of restaurants in Bay Area, nearly 40% of the restaurant serves a "consistent" quality food and they can sustain in any economy. How hard it is for a business to tell their customers over the phone regarding a party quote? They need to chart out a separate time to attend these calls. People won't come back if the service is not good and the business is NOT attentive
