Mexico Lindo Y Cantina

Went with family after church service. Lots of seafood options as well as traditional plates. I got the chicken mole that came with rice, beans and a small salad. Big portions! I only ate half and brought the rest home. It was a solid 8. Wish the sauce was a bit thicker and I missed the toasted sesame seeds sprinkle on top. My mom got a torta de pasteur.My brother got the pozole and my dad got shrimp soup. They were also happy with their meals. The server was very friendly, attentive and quick. They also have a dining/bar area. They have live music some evenings.

Mexico Lindo is a must-visit if you're in San Jose! The food is absolutely incredible--authentic, bursting with flavor, and made with fresh ingredients that truly capture the essence of Mexican cuisine. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, but what really stands out is the amazing staff. Lino and the rest of the team go above and beyond to make you feel like family. Their service is top-notch, attentive, and always with a smile. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is the spot. Do yourself a favor and check it out--you won't regret it!

While in San Jose, this is a spot we try to hit because their al pastor is made really well with lots of flavor and generous portions. The bar also makes up some pretty good Micheladas. The only downside is it's pretty expensive. But considering how the prices are going crazy in California, I can understand why.

Finally hot Mexico Lindo and I'm really glad I did (though I could have done without the flat tire that put me in the neighborhood at dinnertime...)Anyhoo, I had the Enchiladas Michoacanas and they were fantastic! I'd heard of them, but never had 'em and I really enjoyed the presentation and flavor! I left full, which is quite rare for me! Service was fast and fantastic! I'll certainly go again...hopefully without the need to drop the car off at the shop.

IThe food is delicious but if you are going to sing karaoke, I recommend a lighter traffic day like Wednesday or Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays the DJ plays a lot of music to dance to rather than to sing... sucks if what you are going for is karaoke. ‍

I was brought here by a dear friend and am glad I was. The location, while hidden, is a delightful find!Parking is plentiful. Not hard to find if you already found this review.The location is charming. Seating indoors and out front. It's a family business, and is seriously well tended. Seating was comfortable. It will fill, so go early if you can. Not sure about reservations.The meal selection was large and tempting. So was the meal! My lasagne was huge, and I brought half home with me. It was attractive and succulent. Her piccata was equally attractive and is her favorite at that restaurant.Give it a try!

Food & service was great! The restaurant was very accommodating to our large birthday party, our servers were very attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back.

Worst food ever, put lettuce on top of chili rellano was all soggy, the chips were stale. Got to go and it was 1699 but charged me 19 plus. One on foxworthy is the best, never waste my money there EVER

For dinner on a Sunday, we received excellent, friendly service and great tasting burritos and Molcajete.

Love this spot for the cantina in the back but can't give five stars because I've been charged anywhere from 7-11 dollars for a modelo in the last three months. They definitely overcharge depending on I dunno, their mood? What you look like? It's still a good time just wich they'd put prices somewhere.
