Maya Night Club

We came to see FLEX recently. He didn't perform until midnight as most performers. Positive:They have two separate bars serving each section (VIP and Basic), so you always have a choice of which bar to get drinks at if you pay for the VIP only. The line to get drinks is usually short and sometimes empty. They also have female waitresses walking around and asking you if you would like drinks, so that's a plus if you don't wish to walk to the bar. They have tables available and even a separate private area in case you come with a group. Now, I am unaware of the pricing for those services.The security is always walking around, making sure no one is getting out of hand, which was a good thing. I did notice the carry guns, though, making me wonder how dangers it is there to have to need guns.They have coat check available which is a big plus for usNegative:The entire building has no air conditioning. They have small fans mounted to the balcony, and sometimes you can feel it if you are close to them. It gets very packed so it will get hot very fast.The drinks are a bit pricey compared to other small venues. We have two shots and a corona, which came to $60.00. When we asked for a cranberry chaser, we were charged $5.00. This was ridiculous to us.There is no set parking lot for you to park. You will be stuck parking in the street and good luck finding parking anywhere close by.The dress code is listed as a casual dress code, including no running shoes, no regular shirts, no hats, no sports memorabilia, and no shorts. We'll we seen all of that inside. Which made me upset as if I wore shorts. I probably would not have been that hot.Bathrooms are located at the entrance of the building only. Overall impressions were that this is not a suitable place for us to return as it does not fit our tastes. I am sure other people find it enjoyable. But you can make your own decision on that.

This is a great place for dancing. I love the vibe and the service. When I walk in it feels like I've gotten transported into paradise.

Never again!!! Don't waste your time nor your money. Reserved a table for 6 had boughten my general entrance tickets weeks before the event. Posted a deposit for my table ($100). Once I got there I asked where my table at and the person at the door checking tickets was soooo rude and just said to ask a waiter. Once I went to flag down a waitress I was stopped by some "securities" that only VIP and I was a bit confused. Finally waitress comes meets me and I ask for my table and she tells me that she can't give me the table because it's for VIP only. I showed the confirmation of my reservation and she was STILL telling me I had to be VIP. At this point I asked for the manager or supervisor or just anyone in charge. She leaves comes back and tells me that in order to go in I had to pay $60 more for my table since I'm not VIP. I was upset at this point because never did anyone explained this to me. I kept asking to talk to someone higher up but her response was "no you won't be able to talk to anyone they tell me what to tell you." (SERIOUSLY?)At this point it was either lose my deposit or pay $60+. We decided to pay $60+ and finally was able to get our table. Music was good the only reason it gets 1 star. We left a bit early just because some dummy decided to spike my friend's drink. Unacceptable! The club was so packed looked like sardines in there. Super unsafe. Securities were being bribed w $$ to let ppl in VIP. SMH... the stairs were super unsafe, uneven, and nasty. I'm pregnant so that was a big hazard for me. It sucked that I couldn't enjoy my $900 (tickets plus table and +$60) that night. Nothing but a scam and unprofessional. SMH. Very disappointing

I bought a concert ticket online which stated it began at 9pm. I arrived at 9pm the day of and the DJ music was SO LOUD!!! There were no seats, not even at the bar. I waited until 930pm, when my head was in pain from the loudness. I asked the manager if the DJ music could be lowered. He answered, " It's a nightclub!" I asked what time the concert would start? He said midnight!!!!! That is FRAUD in my opinion!!!!! If a concert is advertised at 9pm and it's changed to midnight, that's misrepresentation. I am requesting my $35 returned immediately!! I didn't pay to hear LOUD DJ. I left with headache & to prevent an ear injuries!!! My friends also left! So disappointing, since it was my 1st and last experience there!

Mis hermanas y yo compramos boletos la ir mirar Los Farmerz y en flyer de Ticketon dijeron que era pa edades 18+. Ya cuando llegamos al club no nos dejaron entra porque no tenemos 21 y fue un experiences muy mal. No nos regresaron nuestra dinero.

How is this place packed every week? Like be forreal! LOL For starters, it's SO hot because they have no AC. To make matters worse, the bathrooms are right next to the stage. Which means you have to pass EVERYONE in the crowd, literally fighting for your life just to make it there. But you do get a *complete sarcasm* great view of all the men doing their business in the bathroom while you're waiting to go pee. So invasive! I'm not sure who approved this floor plan but my 5 year old cousin could build a better design on Minecraft. I would've given this place zero stars but the bartenders were so nice so they're the only ones who get any recognition. Anyways, I recommend going here if you're looking to lose some weight since you get a great sauna effect. Or if you're in the mood to test your fight or flight response! Till never Maya nightclub! (:

The new security guard they look like not 21 they look too young and they're very rude to people who were inside the nightclub. They were they were not nice as the other security guard the original they were nice.I guess I will never go back to Maya nightclub again in my life because I had a bad experience at the door. They were very rude and not nice. They were not doing the job the right way so you just lost a good customer so bye-bye see you again.

Mala experiencia , reservamos dos mesas que venían con la opción de cervezas o tequila escogimos una botella y una cubeta de cervezas , decidimos pagar $50 dlls Más para cambiar de una botella don julio blanco a don julio 70 lo cual fue la peor decisión nos dieron la boleta sin sello y adulterada les pedimos que no la cambiaran pero todas estaban abiertas no es justo pagamos $650. 00 dlls para esto la peor experiencia en servicio

Went to see and old band, We had to pay the VIP price to be able to see the stage, even though the place is super small. The drinks were way over price and they were in small cups.
