I was looking for a lunch spot to meet with a friend. Surprisingly many spots are closed on Tuesday in this area in addition to Monday. Anyways Masu was open and the lucky spot that was chosen. This is a nice cozy strip mall and the outdoor seating was great. There was only 1 other pair the whole we were there during the lunch hour which was odd. I got the salmon sashimi which came with soup, salad, and rice. My friend got the sushi platter. The food did not look that great and was just OK overall. Yelp got it right as it almost always does...3 star sounds right.

My family and I have been eating here for years. This place is great. I also have taken work colleagues here for many years. Our Thai friend loves it too. I was surprised to see it rated a three star. So I read some of the low reviews. Typical Silicon Valley cases of boorishness and entitlement. They read like a bunch of Karen's male and female. We love this place. Our son loves their teriyaki chicken. My wife loves their sushi. It's really some of the best I've had.Also as you consider reading or writing a negative review about this place: keep in mind that's it is an excellent family run bistro. It is not a Michelin Star restaurant. Nor does it pretend to be. It's just really good with affordable prices especially at lunch time. Please consider this, we are locals and we eat here all the time. We also own an AirBnB business and a farm stay in the area. We refer our customers here all the time and it's in our guestbook and on our app and website. If Masu were not superb or just meh, we wouldn't do that. They also have a beautiful Al fresco dining area outside. A rarity in this town. The food and service here have always been top notch.

Good portions with flavorful miso and salad. Spicy tuna rolls were so so. Excellent fried rice. Tempura veggies chalky and hard. Service on the slow side which was odd because we were the only ones there.

very saratogaesque area for sushidisclaimer: its hard to hit YOUR fav sushi spot during the 'rona' times.....luckily, this place was close enough to get sushi and sit and enjoy a meal with my familysitting and ordering off the menu is accordinglyim already feeling redundant in this review so lemme jus break it down as real as i can get...the food here is not the greatest but i gues its a local enjoyment for some. distance seating is bleh outside but it sorta goes with the small town feel

I ordered the Philly roll & the Yum Yum Yummy roll. So delicious! It was a very seamless pick-up order & the staff was super friendly and polite. The restaurant is clean & quiet. Was a great lunch, I'll definitely go again.

We went there for a quick lunch. The nigiri sushi was NOT fresh and tasted like they were previously frozen. The worst thing was we had to wait 50 minutes after ordering to eat. Don't waste yout time or money at this place.
