We decided to give it another opportunity and I have to tell they improved!! I'm very happy to said this because is a very nice mexican place and today the service and food were too much better than the last time.We ordered the queso fundido that it has a very good touch: poblano pepper! Veeery tasted. Our first drinks were good enough and the second were perfectly balanced with flavor and quantity of alcohol. The service was good, I gave them only 4 stars because the menu is very limited but, definetely very happy to update my review and recommend this place :)

Came here on a Thursday morning around 11:30 to grab lunch with a few colleagues. Upon arrival, it was not busy at all and we started by ordering a drink at the bar while waiting for the rest of the party to arrive. The jalapeño margarita was great, and the bartender was friendly and let us know our table was ready. This is when things went downhill-- we got seated and it took a good ten minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. I swear, it was like we had to do the "obvious" eye contact to their staff for someone to even come over. We thought we'd start with the elote and chips and salsa for appetizers and our waitress came back letting us know they were out of elotes.. lol what? You guys JUST opened for the day and it's ... corn? Eh, we moved on and asked for ceviche instead. Weirdly enough, our waitress comes out with elotes ..? So yay? But not sure where the miscommunication back there happened. It was time to order our entrees and a few of us were excited to try the chicharon tacos. Unfortunately, we were once again about to hear bad news since they were ALSO out of chicharon tacos..?? Yall again, they JUST opened about an hour ago.. so not sure what's up with their food inventory, but definitely disappointing. Food and drink wise: the elotes were good-- and my margarita was perfect! The al pastor tacos were pretty decent and everything else was meh. Also tried their carnitas tacos and bit into a bone so that was unpleasant. Service: after we got our entrees we never saw our waitress again (unless we waived her down a few times and asked her for something ?) LOL-- sadly, we definitely felt as if she didn't feel the need to wait on us since we were a big party and tip was included in our bill despite the service she gave. Speaking of bill, they charged for the ceviche which we never got (since they did end up having the elotes) so we had to ask them to take it off. It was a lot of our first time here , but I personally would not go back. Food, food inventory and service are all lacking it seems like.

I'd like to start off by saying that the staff here is wonderful and they truly go over and beyond! I came here last week with two friends for our birthday's and the host Ray was so kind to bring us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, it was a great surprise! And after we finished eating, the staff came and sang Happy Birthday with a nice treat of vanilla ice cream along with churros. We basically ate every appetizer that was on the happy hour menu and 2 of us each had a margarita my other friend had a glass of wine. I honestly can say the food was just okay. I will be posting pictures soon. The restaurant is huge and there is ample parking.

We stopped by on a weeknight and got seated right away. The decor and interior was very spacious and welcoming. It really wasn't that busy so I was pretty surprised that I had to keep flagging down the waiter for our order and some requests we had.I ordered the 3 Cauliflower Street Tacos and to be honest, they were tiny for $22 and tasted a little bland. I found myself dousing them in the salsas for taste. We also ordered the Veggie Burrito which was also a little bland. It barely had any veggies in it and mostly was black beans and rice. I liked the Nacho Platter and the side of Yuka Fries. I was looking forward to ordering the churros but the waiter told us they had run out of them so we weren't able to order them. The salsa was watery, the food wasn't that exciting, and the portions were small for what the bill came out to be. Overall, I don't think I'll be back except maybe to try their churros if they have them.

My friend and I stopped by mas fuego, thinking it was be your standard chain restaurant quality but were blown away by the food quality. First of all, the drinks are STRONG. Definitely got my moneys worth there! We both loved the birria tacos, Elote corn ribs and corn tortilla soup. We thought that they were absolute stars with the intensity of flavor. We both devoured these so quickly. I also loved the ceviche personally. There was a generous amount of meat and the seasoning on the chips was so addictive. My bestie loved the salad and found it refreshing and bright. The salmon was decent but didn't stand out amongst a sea of stars. The carne asada was a miss for both of us as the meat felt a bit dry and lacked the punch the other items did. Service was so sweet and apologetic that their AC was unfortunately broken on the hottest day of the month. They tried their best to be prompt and I appreciated that!I really enjoyed the interior as they attempted to add Mexican imagery and art. Such a vibe.Overall, we can't wait to be back!

More like Mas Disappointment & Mas Overpriced. Our friends decided to come try this place after craving for tacos. They have a large venue so was able to seat the 8 of us fairly quickly. We ordered the Queso Fundido to share as appetizer. My husband ordered the enchiladas and I got grilled baha fish tacos. When the queso fundido came out, we were all pleasantly surprised at the bubbling cheese and the chips. However, when our entrees came, most of us were disappointed. For one, for the price the dishes, the portions were quite small (and an extra 4 little tortillas costed $5!). For those of us who ordered tacos, we were all surprised at the number of tacos that came out and the quality of the tacos. On the menu, it clearly states that 'tacos come in 3'. What they failed to mention is that only some tacos come in 3s, like the street tacos. And if it comes in 3s, the portions are also much smaller (about the size of a small fist). Additionally, the protein in the tacos were all overcooked and very sparse. While the service was good and our waiter was courteous, if you're looking for quality Mexican food priced reasonably, this is not the place to come.

We visited Mas Fuego yesterday (a Sunday) for lunch with my in laws. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. Which is why we found it odd that we were basically being ignored by our server. We waited, looking around for someone to not only take our order, but to also provide us with some water. The food also took awhile to come out. Again, odd since the place was empty. My partner and I ordered fajitas, him carnitas and me shrimp. They got his order wrong but since everything was taking so long, he just decided to keep what he got. My mother in law ordered the birria tacos which were slightly bland. I felt birria needed more flavor. The steak that came with my fajitas was flavorful but the meat was kind of tough. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and that was very good. Had a little bit of a kick to it. Spicy but not overdone. I would return. Maybe we just came on an off day? Who knows.

To Ken and Rosa,I enjoyed the hospitality:) could not have asked for better service from you all. Thank you! From my experience with tex-mex restaurants, there is a spectrum of their food. The restaurant can either prioritize the quantity or quality of the food they serve, and very rarely can they do both but I emphasize that this is not a bad thing. it is up to the customer decide what they prefer, and the restaurant they choose will cater to their preference. In short, this restaurant prioritizes quality and not quantity, which I have no problem with because the prices truly reflect the value of the food. I had the chicken taquito and a carne asada burrito. Both of these dishes excellent in quality and I enjoyed it.
