This place is packed around lunch on a Sunday and just for standing in line to order live was still faster than pick-up order.We had an ube and matcha soft serve, another regular matcha drink and a strawberry matcha latte. The Taste The matcha grade is very present and deep, high equality. The strawberry tasted amazing!Ambiance All was good just super small bc so crowded! Verdict ‍I'd come here again to try other desserts when less crowded.

There was a lot of hype around this matcha spot when it first opened with lines out the door so it was a place I wanted to check out. Lines were not too bad mid-morning on a weekday. Four stars because my friend ordered a hojicha latte and they gave her a matcha latte... I went back to the counter and asked if this is their hojicha latte (maybe it's a different color here haha) and the barista said no, looked at the label on the cup that clearly says hojicha, and quickly made the correct order.

Matcha latte 2/5 - I didn't understand the hype with this place. The matcha latte was not good at all! I couldn't taste the matcha as much and it was super milky! All I tasted was milkMatcha cheese tarte 2/5 - this was very interesting.. not in a good way. Cheese mix with matcha was just weird.I don't know if it's because of the barista or bc we came at 8pm on a Friday night but the matcha latte wasn't good. I don't understand why it's popular

By far the best matcha I have ever had! Some say it's comparable to the matcha in Japan?! They were very quick but I would recommend going during the week when it's less busy and more parking is available.

I was in the area and my friend who lives locally here told me the lines are usually really long, so I had to stop by to see what the hype was about! I kinda hyped up the place in my mind prior to coming by. I got the winter limited pistachio matcha latte but due to the caffeine content and the fact that I purchased in the evening, I stored it in the fridge and drank it the next day (caffeine=no sleep). Hm, not sure if I let the pistachio marinate for too long overnight? All I tasted was pistachio lol. I will say if you love pistachio this is heavy on the pistachio flavor and tastes like real pistachio (unlike some pistachio syrups I've tried at other places). Unfortunately I couldn't taste the matcha, which was the dominant flavor I was looking and craving for. I also got a Hokkaido cheese tart, which was basically a whipped cheesecake tart. I thought it was ok, it's smaller than I thought it would be and airier inside than I imagined. I was expecting something hardier, like an egg tart, but it was basically whipped cream cheese. Overall my experience was just ok. I would really like to try their gelato if I end up coming by again.

No wonder it's always crowded whenever you pass by the store. Everything I try today is great!For drink, I have matcha latte (with soy milk) and matcha jelly anne boba. Wow! The boba is so chewy/bouncy. Love it. One racing about it is that it's not laden with sugars!The matcha is thick, it gives you a bitter taste but strangely, it's also smooth. That's a strange and yet harmonious combination. Fantastic! The cheese tart and matcha tart I have are wonderful too. They are lightly sweet taste, strong creamy and buttery taste/texture. A bit undercooked. The only thing that's not 100% perfect is the salty cheese foam (snow top). It's too sweet and not thick enough.Don't be intimidated by the long line, it moved really fast.I shall return for sure.

This place has been super popular on Instagram so my husband and I stopped by last week to see what the hype is about. We waited about 20-25 minutes to order but the line moved fairly quickly. We ordered the matcha no 3 ice cream, mango matcha latte with Hokkaido boba and 2 cheese tarts. Our order came out within 10 minutes. The matcha ice cream was really good since it was sweet and had a strong matcha taste. However the mango in the drink was chunky instead of puree so the drink could be improved on. Parking can be challenging since it's in downtown Palo Alto. I would come back if I happened to be in the area.

I saw that this cafe opened up recently and I wanted to check it out. There was a huge line the first time I tried to go on a weekend but when I came back on a weeknight, it wasn't too bad. There are a bunch of tables but it definitely fills up.Hokkaido soft serve (3.5/5): This was a little too tart? for my liking. It wasn't the best Hokkaido ice cream I've had but it was still decent and creamy. It was a bit pricey but they definitely packed on the soft serve.It was a good try. I would probably come back here to try other things if I'm in the area and the line isn't too long.

(Palo Alto) Food: Gelato matcha pistachio (9.4/10). The consistency of the gelato is spot on. You can see the constant mixer blender to make every bite has the same texture. The matcha was high quality and delicious. Wish they added more matcha and pistachio for the what it's worth. I don't really taste the pistachio in the gelato outside the toppings. Maybe it's like thatUji matcha cheese tart (5/10)- not worth it. It's like eating baked egg with a little bit of matcha. I ordered the Matcha and Hokkaido gelato, it was so good and flavorful. Great customer service and I got my order very fast. The matcha tasted very high quality. The cafe was very aesthetic and had nice areas to hang out in and nice decor. I will definitely go there again and would recommend it.
