Their micheladas are delicious!! If you are in search of a michelada, look no further. Micheladas= 5 stars! It might look like a hole in the wall, but the food is amazing. The restaurant is small so you can pretty much sit anywhere available. The server will bring you the menu. If you're with a group, try the shrimp platter because it comes with cucumbers and shrimps. They have karaoke on the weekends so it's pretty loud and fun. As a mom now, I try to come early in the day to avoid the super loud music because I can't hear myself talk, but if you want to drink and enjoy music, this is the place for you. High chairs are available and parking is on the back. Parking is limited! The bathrooms are vandalized. It's not a 5 star bathroom. LOL The restaurant is small but the food is delicious.

When I visit my parents this Taqueria is down the street . They are always telling me how good the soups are (the caldos ) . I was visiting and my dad and he did not feel so good I offered food he wanted a caldo from here . I called to put in my phone order the lady was really nice over the phone . This is a true Mexican restaurant u know when they answer in Spanish which I love . For my ordered I got the caldo de Res (beef soup ) caldo do pollo (chicken soup )Two red cheese enchiladas And a few tacos So the soups all come with a side of rice which is a decent size my parents love the soups here . They rate it a 10/10 they also come with handmade tortillas. The tacos I got were pretty big and made with tortillas made in house very good . The enchiladas I loved sauce very flavorful.When I got there my food was just coming out . I was right on time to pick up my freshly made food. Overall this is a convenient location for my parents I would definitely eat here again the food was very delicious.

For me, this place is a hidden gem. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the volume of the music. As a Mexican, I understand it, but after a while, you want to hear what your friends are telling you the first time; one level less to the volume would be perfect.The place is small, but has a lot of natural light, is clean, and smells good (that smell of homemade food, but not greasy/fried food). The staff is friendly and helpful; its menu is wide and varied (several vegetarian options), and its homemade sauces (green and red) chef kisses,I enjoyed "Flautas de papa" (served with rice, beans, salad, and avocado). My friend ordered, "Alambre de camarón" (filled with bell peppers, onion, bacon, mushrooms, cheese, and homemade tortillas).If you are craving legit Mexican food and are nearby, this is the place to try!

I stepped in last night to watch a friend sing karaoke at this spot. Although I was having a good time listening to folks sing the service was HORRIBLE. The servers name was Ashley. "La comida no se dio de a gratis" is what my mom always says and I wish these women respected their clients. At least enough to understand that good service=more clientele= more money. The place was empty compared to other restaurants in the area and I can now see why. AVOID.

Wow amazing place great food excellent service I ordered one torta hawaiana it was so good! My fave place to go when I'm craving torta I highly recommend you to try their torta hawaiana the best torta. Every time I go there I order it. Great ambiance too.

Finally a place in San Jose where I can go get some authentic Mexican food when I'm craving some fatty food!I was introduced to this place by some co-workers when we went out for lunch one day. I typically don't hang around this area of San Jose, so I never knew this place was here. To be honest, based on the outside looks of this place, I'm not sure it would be somewhere I would stop to get food. Boy was I surprised, never judge a book by its cover.This restaurant is small, and was packed on the day we came to eat. The menu is extensive and there are tons of choices from tacos, burritos, enchiladas and seafood. The drinks can also get pretty crazy. A mexican beer with shrimp, say what! Not my thing, but cool to see!On my visit, I decided on a shrimp cocktail. That thing could feed a family of four with no problem! Lemon, tostadas, and crackers accompany it. My co-workers ordered enchilada plates, beef burritos, and some carne asada tacos on there homemade corn tortillas. Again, the portion sizes are ridiculous! The customer service is basic and good. They greet you, take your drink order, food order, and leave the check. But are attentive if you need anything else.Parking in the back only holds a couple of cars, and if you're craving some Mexican food during the weekend, street parking may be a hassle.Over all, I would come back to try something new.

This place is super good .. it can get a little noisy whit load music .But the food is good!

My food took half an hour. The dish that I got were the asada fries. The fries taste like they were fired in really old oil the asada had no flavor would not recommend.

very bad service terrible food I would never go back there.I ordered no onions they put much onions had to come back to work. When I opened my order. I called the restaurant back and they didn't refund my money .

Pésimo servicio, fui desde acá de santa cruz a comer , y una muchacha de brackets casi nos corre , y no no dejó comer a gusto , no lo recomiendo
