Review is for a DoorDash experience. We were craving spam musubi and decided to order the half pan. We got 12 fresh and delicious musubis, chicken katsu with max salad, steamed broccoli, and orange chicken. Everything was tasty and the delivery was so fast. 10/10. We will order again!

It was my first time eating here on a Friday around 3:30pm and there was no wait time. Lots of seating available. The color of their display menu is a little off but everything is readable. I got their number 3 BBQ mix plate with one spam musubi. I thought the food was good and nothing to complain about. The spam musubi was standard and the sauce they put on the rice is yummy. I saw a previous review from someone else saying that the spam cuts were thin while there is too much rice. I think maybe a little less rice would be better but it still taste yummy. As for the BBQ mix plate, it was yummy and definitely filling. It came with rice and lettuce underneath, two types of meat (beef and chicken I believe?) and a Mac salad. The meat tasted homemade like something my dad would make so it was delicious. I would definitely order this again. :)

First time here. No wait time to order. Ordered the Beef Musubi and Portuguese Sausage Musubi, very disappointed. Mostly rice with a very thin slice of meat. I recommend more meat and less rice.

Great Hawaiian flavors and addictive macaroni salad. When I am craving Hawaiian bbq, I drive straight to Mahalo and pass several restaurants on the way there. The staff is extremely friendly and get excited when I order.Mahalo staff has a passion for Hawaiian food and it shows in the flavors they serve.

Decent Hawaiian spot with big portions but nothing mindblowing. Run by a Chinese family that also sells American style Chinese food. We got the spam musubi, bbq combo, and fried seafood combo. The spam musubi had way too much rice. If you want to get full of that then its for you! The bbq combo was a bit greasy and fried seafood a little overfried. Can't complain too much for the portion size and price though. Close convenient spot for us.

Horrible service. Cashier/owner appears to not care about anything. All I wanted was some sort of sauce on the side. The reply we got was "no sauce". Im sure they have bbq sayce in the back if they would go out of the way. I truly believe in helping our local business thrive by giving my honest opinion on the experience. My opinions are based on an average guideline according to taste, smell, presentation, and quality. Along with that, cleanliness and friendliness is a bonus.I dont recommend this place for your hawaiian food.

Very disappointed this time around. We've been coming here on and off for years, the last visit was a year ago, and so many changes have occurred. The small dining area used to be open with plenty of seating. Seating is limited now, which is understandable, but a third of the dining area space was taken up by supplies- Boxes of elbow macaroni and to go plastic containers etc. Very tacky! The beginning of the hallway to the restroom was blocked by chairs. At the end of the hallway was a teenager seated at a table playing video games on his tablet! We heard him playing as he was vocal, and that was my view while eating dinner. Menu has remained the same. I ordered the chicken plate with 2 scoops of macaroni salad instead of one scoop of rice. The chicken marinade has changed and so has the macaroni salad, both super bland!!! I asked for some chili paste and black pepper. The chili was oily and bitter, inedible to me. I piled on so much black pepper on the salad, it didn't enhance it in any way. Super bland!In between orders, we didn't appreciate all the employees dispersed in the small space seating area around us, talking loudly. It was hard to enjoy our dinner. Don't think we'll be coming back , so sad. The original owner used to greet us coming in and converse with us , she saw our boys grow up.. and say bye when we left. No greeting from these new people as we left.....

Although my food order came out good, the service was quite horrendous beginning with the cashier yelling at a customer who was waiting on his food to wait inside the establishment although his food was not done by time I got mine (several minutes). This was not the least of it, I've been going to the same place for years and never once got denied for teriyaki sauce for which I enjoy putting onto my rice, till the new cashier said if i want teriyaki I'd have to order an entire new meal. I offered to pay extra for just the sauce and was denied and told to leave. Also why store panko bread crumb bags on the dirty ground?
