Los Primos Meat Market

AMAZING quality of meat. I purchased arranchera (skirt steak) and it was so tasty and tender, almost a little buttery. I can't stress enough how happy I was with it, it was very fresh. The produce I got was excellent, too. Their check stand is a little disorganized and they sometimes have old bread for sale. Otherwise, very well-stocked for such a small store. Parking is sometimes a little tough because it is in a very small lot.

Stopped in to use their check cashing service. There is a service fee of 1.5% to cash your checks. It's convenient for when the banks are closed and your money. They also have a money wire service. Since I was here decided to pick up a couple of thinks. They have a small produce are, meat counter, and lots of your traditional Mexican ingredients for cooking your favorite dishes. It's priced a bit more then bigger chain stores however here you can whet you might not find at the other big stores.

Had a wonderful experience at this little gem. It's no wholefoods but the fresh meat was good and our friends loved it when we used our traeger to smoke it. Turned out juicy and soft. The butcher is cool although his English isn't the best. He makes up for it with his kindness. I asked him a few questions not really knowing what all the meats were and he gave some recommendations.

Ordered a whole hog for a party/Luau we had for my birthday. I was told one week lead time would be good. We paid the deposit and the hog showed up on time and ready to go. I asked if the butcher could split the spine so it would fit in the roaster box (La Caja China). The butcher misunderstood and cut the hog in two pieces. Not exactly what I was looking for but we made it work. I was hoping their English was better to understand the instructions but so be it. The last thing was to pay the balance on pick up. I was informed that the total was paid in full. I insisted it was less than the quoted price and they insisted that it was paid. What a great deal that was! I will always buy my whole hogs here as they gave us a great deal!!!!

Nice place with authentic Mexican groceries.Called a meat market but it has basic groceries as well.They have items from Mexico like Pulparindo, and they have the version with mango.I didn't see Carlos V brand anywhere though.You can get soda there too.Small store but has most of the basics.

If you would like some specialty cut meats for some authentic mexican dishes this i a ok place to stop in.
