Consistently EXCELLENT! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent all around.This time I had the Prima Vera Omelette. Spinach, tomato, mushrooms, broccoli & Swiss cheese wrapped in a fluffy omelette. Deeelicious!One of the best breakfast spots in the south bay area. You can't go wrong. Highly recommend!

Los Gatos Café - Great FoodThis is a review for Los Gatos Café, which has two locations in Los Gatos: one downtown and one in what they call uptown. My wife and I generally visit the uptown location. Both locations are very nice, but we prefer the uptown one because it's a little less busy and closer to our home.The menu is excellent, with plenty of delicious breakfast and brunch options. The food is always good, and the café is well known for its weekend-only cinnamon roll, which many people love. My wife and I are regulars, but since we don't eat much for breakfast, we usually share a plate and enjoy coffee.This morning, however, we were surprised by a $4 share fee for splitting our meal. We found out that this fee only applies if you don't order an additional item. Normally, we get coffee, but today we only ordered one meal with no coffee or sides, so the charge was applied. The portion sizes here are very generous, and for two seniors, one meal is more than enough for us to share.It seems like some restaurants are adding fees these days to keep up with inflation. While we understand the reasoning, it was still unexpected. I prefer that it be baked in to the pricing.That said, Los Gatos Café remains one of our favorite breakfast spots, with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service. The share fee is something to keep in mind, but it won't stop us from returning and enjoying their delicious meals.

Awesome food. Nice staff. Dog friendly on patio (someone gave our dog a pup cup). We got a veggie omelet and French toast. The omelet is super fluffy good. The French toast was the table favorite ... so good. Just simple, lightly sweet and crisp texture. One of the best French toasts I've ever had.

I've been to both locations and have had great experiences both times. Weekends are quite busy so I recommend getting here sooner rather than later, but service is quick and I've never had to wait long for a table for two. The meals themselves are a substantial portion and always delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I have yet to try the cinnamon roll but I can't wait to come back to try it!

Three of us had the Benedict's. The eggs were done perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was excellent. The potatoes were some of the best I've ever tasted. The other person in our group had an omelet which she said was excellent, and it was the fluffiest omelet that I've ever seen. It looked like a giant soufflé. I've been coming here for over 30 years and the quality and service has remained outstanding.

The food was great but my review is mostly for their service. Before even bringing out waters or taking your order they ask you if you want coffee. Just simple straight out the pot coffee. Everyone says yes because they make it seem complimentary. And throughout the whole time there multiple waitresses will come up to you forcing refills. What they don't mention is that every cup is $4 and it adds up. Maybe I was just a little ditsy but everyone around me seemed to think the same thing. This really ruined the experience for me and just seemed dishonest.

Incredible breakfast options.I've been here a couple times the food does not disappoint. I've ordered the eggs Benedict and they have a lot of different varieties and options. They easily substitute without any trouble. Fresh ingredients, coffee, lots of different toast, options. Great place for large groups as long as everybody gets there at the same time.

This is LOVE! Now voted my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in the Bay Area. That Raspberry Coffee Cake is amazeballs! The Shrimp Omelette is the best tasting omelette I've ever had! I'm pretty sure my BF's Flank Chimi Papa was bomb since he finished it.The server was super adorable and sweet and kept up with the jokes from our table. I was super glad that they had outdoor seating available since I had my dog with me and there's not a lot of outdoor seating space in San Jose so my dog enjoyed being outside. Def recommend!

We (6 people) came to Los Gatos Cafe on a Saturday morning around 10am. A lot of people were around but we didn't wait for long. The hostess was friendly and our waitress was the sweetest person ever. We were seated in a booth, which was a tad squeezy for 6 people - but we made it work lol. The Cinnamon Roll was warm, gooey, and surprisingly not too sweet. Everyone liked their food but we all agreed that the herb potatoes can be more crispy. Personally, I got the crab cakes (crab cakes, avocado, poached eggs + hollandaise sauce & herb potatoes), it was delicious but I feel like it was lacking a crispy/crunchy element as well as some citrus to cut through all the richness. Overall a good experience!
